The Doyle family heard the news after Peter Doyle. They were happy as well, before the Magic Arena Manager could finalize the duel date.

Someone from the Doyle family leaked the news to the outside world.

Soon, many forces in the magic city were able to confirm that the duel between Peter Doyle and Vincent Carey was set.

Among the major wizard families, the news reached the ears of the families connected to the Silver Tower as well.

This includes the Cox and the Nicholson family. The family heads quickly contacted Manager Lara of the Silver Tower to confirm the news, and she confirmed it.

Why are these families interested? Because most of them have lost their money due to the wrong bet.

This time, many shifted their attitude. They have a favorable attitude towards Vincent Carey compared to earlier days.

Even the Nicholson family head, Rick, is going to bet on Vincent Carey, even though he doesn’t like Vincent Carey. He didn’t want to lose the opportunity to earn good money.

It’s the same with the Cox family and several other family heads. Once the duel date is announced, the betting portal will be opened as well.

…

From MC’s Perspective:

Post-noon, I came to the living area to meet Manager Lara. I called her. When she arrived, I immediately asked about the intel related to Peter Doyle.

I wanted to see if Peter Doyle had any trump cards. I told her about this.

Lara thought for a moment before saying, “Unfortunately for you, there is not a single recorded duel footage of Peter Doyle available online.”

“The official duel between you guys will be the first of his duels to be available online,” she added.

I furrowed my eyebrows.

“If you guys are discussing Peter Doyle, then I have some information.”

A familiar voice sounded behind me. When I turned around, I found none other than Wilfred Cox.

“This guy,” I uttered.

Lara was surprised as well.

Wilfred Cox removed his pointy hat before looking at them.

He said, “I know you guys must be surprised by my change in attitude. But trust me, I don’t like the Wind Elemental Tower’s move.”

“When was the last time our Silver Tower was treated like this? Even the Elemental Tower is going against us now.”

“I can understand the Black Tower because they are truly strong. But what’s with the Elemental Tower’s attitude?”

“The Doyle family won’t have the guts without the support of the Wind Elemental Tower behind them,” Wilfred said in a serious tone.

I relaxed my eyebrows after hearing his full statement. More importantly, I didn’t feel any hostile intent from him. Even the system didn’t warn me.

Which means he must be telling the truth.

Lara was surprised. Besides, Lord Charlotte had thought the same as well. It shows that wizard seed Wilfred Cox is keeping an eye on everyone. He was up-to-date with information.

“What information do you have?” Lara asked.

Wilfred Cox smiled as he sat on the sofa.

“You guys can sit as well. I don’t want to stand for too long,” he said.

My mouth twitched. Then I sat on the sofa. Manager Lara sat in the opposite chair as well.

“Okay, let’s come to the topic. I have done quite a bit of digging to find information about Peter Doyle.”

“Like you guys discussed earlier, not much information about him is available online. So I used my connections to find some information.”

“Then I learned about his duels inside the Wind Elemental Tower’s duel platform. Like us, they have one in their tower as well.”

“According to my source, Peter Doyle likes to use one wind magic spell, especially if he wants to end the duel in one spell attack.”

“The magic spell is called ‘Wind Twister.’”

“When he uses the spell attack, the destruction left by this spell is huge. He even used the instant cast as well,” Wilfred Cox said with a smile.

A look of understanding dawned on me. The name of the spell suggests that it could be a wild tornado.

“It must be a powerful wind tornado spell,” Lara said.

“There are not many wide-range destructive spells available. I guess a wind tornado is one of them,” Lara added.

“Yes, it’s a tornado. But there is no footage available. Unfortunately, I could only get verbal intel,” Wilfred uttered.

“Thanks,” I said to him.

Wilfred Cox was stunned. Then he looked at him and said, “If you want to thank me, then defeat Peter Doyle.”

“I don’t want the prestige of the Silver Tower to be challenged by the Elemental Wizards,” he added.

After saying that, he left without saying a word further.

When he was gone from the place, Lara smiled and said, “Like I told you before, as long as you are strong, the other wizard seeds won’t bother you. They care about the Silver Tower more.”

“And he truly loathes other magic towers, especially the Elemental Towers,” she added.

I nodded to her. At the same time, I noted down the help of Wilfred Cox in my heart.

“Do you have any magic spells to counter it?” she asked.

Hearing that, I replied, “I have magic spells, but I don’t know how effective they are. Since it’s the game of instant casting, I want to figure out which of my spells can work against him quickly.”

But I sighed inwardly. There are other magic spells apart from the “Gravity Field,” but they could kill him.

The weakness of the Gravity Field is that the gravitational force would increase with time.

Even with its 5th-stage spell, it would take a few seconds before the output damage increases.

If I used other spells, it would be an instant crush.

Lara then thought of something.

She said, “If you want to test your spell against something like the tornado wind spell, there is a way.”

“The shop owner of the Brother’s Collection could help you. He is a wind elemental wizard,” she added with a smile.

“What?” I blurted out in surprise.

I have to say the old man is the only connection I made without relying on Manager Lara.

But I don’t know whether he would help me or not.
