Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

After dismissing the status panel, I stood up to leave. Then I returned to my room shortly afterwards. I have been staying here apart from going to classes and practice.

Now, Charon Perry’s death has been made public. I really don’t feel safe here. I wonder where Head Howard has gone.

If he were here, I could feel safer. Right now, I don’t have any confidence in leaving the Special Mage Department.

…

Meanwhile,

Supreme Wizard Gibson has come up with an idea. Since the target is not ready to leave the Special Mage Department, he needs to do something else.

He thinks it would be better if someone could lure the kid out. He even learned from his assistant that the target kid doesn’t have friends.

In this circumstance, he can only visit the Special Mage Department himself. He thinks that people won’t mind his visit to that place.

He is a Supreme Wizard. The only thing he should be worried about is that old lady Phylia. He doesn’t think that old lady is out right now.

As long as she is not here, he is sure he can capture that kid.

Swoosh!

After making the decision, he appears outside and starts moving towards the Special Mage Department in mid-air.

The students going about their business have no clue.

In the blink of an eye, he gets closer to the Special Mage Department floating tower building.

At the same time, old lady Phylia opens her eyes. The Special Mage Department is under her territory. She can feel a Supreme Wizard trespassing in her territory right now.

Swoosh!

She disappears from the spot and appears outside. She takes a few steps before appearing above the Special Mage Department.

Her gaze immediately falls on Supreme Wizard Gibson, who is approaching the building secretly.

Her eyes turn icy. She is obviously aware that Gibson has close connections with the Perry Family. She immediately figures out the ins and outs.

“To think even a Supreme Wizard is recruited by them,” she thinks in surprise.

Swoosh!

The next second, she appears in front of the person, startling him.

“Gibson, what are you doing here?” she asks.

Her voice falls like a thunderclap in Gibson’s ears. His expression changes drastically. He is caught off guard by the old lady.

“Supreme Wizard Phylia, I just came to see you,” Gibson lies.

“As if I believe your words. Don’t you think I don’t know about your connection with the Perry Family?” she says.

Hearing that, Gibson’s eyes flicker. He can’t fool the old fox. Everyone knows about his source of resources. Especially among the Supreme Wizard circle.

Gibson casts a deep look at her before leaving. When he is gone from the place, Phylia’s eyes show complex emotions.

“Seniors, when are you coming back? The True Elements Society needs your help,” she thinks to herself.

She had sent out an emergency message. She doesn’t doubt their loyalty. But she fears they might come late.

On the other hand, there is no sign of Head Howard’s whereabouts. She doesn’t know when the old monster of the Perry Family might take action.

The magic formation cannot withstand a large number of attacks.

Swoosh!

With a sigh, she returns to the Starlight Palace.

Nobody knows about this small confrontation. Otherwise, the True Elements Society won’t be at peace.

…

Supreme Wizard Gibson returns to his place. His forehead is lined with tension. He was so close to getting beaten. He knows that among the Supreme Wizards, that old lady is the strongest.

Only a Magic Lord can injure her. Gibson grits his teeth in anger. With the old lady’s presence, that target is safe.

“No wonder that kid is hiding there,” he thinks.

He suspects that the old lady has ended her retreat not long ago.

Creak!

Leona Perry walks into the room. Upon seeing her master, she immediately greets him.

Gibson’s mood is worse. Upon seeing her, he feels bad. But he controls his emotions and asks, “What is it?”

“Master, my grandfather asked about the update?” Leona asks.

She immediately notices that her master is in a bad mood.

Gibson frowns before replying, “It’s difficult. Supreme Wizard Phylia has ended her retreat as well. That kid is staying in the Special Mage Department.”

“It’s impossible for others to forcibly capture that kid,” he adds.

“What?” Leona loses her voice.

Her body trembles. She never expected Supreme Wizard Phylia to end her retreat as well. Everyone knows that she is close to becoming a Magic Lord.

No other Supreme Wizards are her opponent.

She stands up and says, “Master, I’m going to tell my grandfather about this.”

Gibson nods to her. He is helpless to act alone.

Leona Perry leaves the Magic Palace.

….

The Perry Family Estate:

Study room,

Cooper is speaking to his father about the reports.

Suddenly, he receives a notification.

“Leona is back,” Cooper utters.

Callen Perry hears that his granddaughter is back. He reveals a smile on his face. He doesn’t know whether that boy Gibson has succeeded or not.

Thinking about the resources that he had consumed, he hoped that he would do his job. Otherwise, he would make him a slave to work for his Perry Family.

Creak!

Leona enters the room with a gloomy look on her face. Upon seeing her father and grandfather, she immediately greets them one by one.

“Well, Leona. What happened?”

“You don’t look good,” Cooper asks.

Old man Callen’s expression turns serious as well.

“Father… Grandfather….,” Leona then starts to explain.

About a few minutes later,

Cooper sighs inwardly. Their actions are reaching a dead end everywhere.

Callen frowns. He had thought of all scenarios, but he overlooked that woman. She is close to touching the Magic Lord level.

No other Supreme Wizards are opponents to her. Unless a Magic Lord takes action against her, he understands why there has been no answer from Gibson.

Gibson is weak in front of her.

“It’s trouble,” old man Callen mutters.

“Father,” Cooper calls out in worry.

“Our relationship with the True Elements Society is going to be irreparable. Since I have decided to burn the bridges, there is no point in hesitating.”

“Howard is not here. Before he comes back, I’m going to seek help from my old friends. If everything goes well, our Perry Family might rule over the True Elements Society,” Callen says in a cold tone.

Cooper is speechless. He can only listen to his father. Leona is surprised. Her grandfather’s friends must be like him.

She can’t wait to catch Vincent Carey and teach him a lesson with her own hands.

Shortly afterward,

A powerful figure leaves the True Elements Society territory.

…

At the Ancient Redwood Country’s border, a figure is holding the head of a Supreme Wizard in his left hand. In his right hand, there is a storage bracelet.

The figure is none other than Howard Mason. When he uses his mental power to check the storage bracelet, there is a mountain of resources, including high-grade affinity mana stones.

But none of them impress him. After checking everything, his eyes flash with disappointment.

“There are no Gravity Magic resources. No wonder that kid was desperate,” Howard mutters to himself.

He had heard some rumors before coming here. All of them were about treasures related to space magic. So he had come here to try his luck.

Since he had promised that kid Vincent Carey to find Gravity resources, he wanted to complete it. In that process, he found out that this place was the hiding place of a rogue Supreme Wizard.

He was living his life by plundering resources from commercial airships flying over this border.

But he ended up dead in Howard’s hand. Howard then decides to leave. This border place is not an ordinary one. There are many ruins and wreckages here.

The climate in this place is not ordinary as well. From time to time, there would be a storm to destroy this place. Only Supreme-level wizards can survive here and live in these conditions. Find exclusive stories on My Virtual Library Empire

Level-9 Wizards and below are shredded by the powerful storms. The storms are comparable to the powerful spell attacks of a Supreme Wizard.

Because of that, the dead Supreme Wizard was able to live here.

Swoosh!

He moves to a different location within minutes.

Just as he enters a normal environment with no climatic disturbances, he notices that there are many unread messages.

His eyes flicker. He begins to read them.

About 10 minutes later,

A powerful mana wave bursts out from his body. It immediately influences the climate, causing thunder and lightning.

Those who are not far away are taken aback by the sudden appearance of the thunder and lightning.

Only knowledgeable wizards know that some powerful wizard is crossing the place. He is moving without hiding his mana, which is causing climatic changes.

“I didn’t expect the traitors to start acting,” Howard says to himself.

His eyes flash coldly. He is going to see a bloodbath in the True Elements Society.

Swoosh!

He leaves the place in a hurry at maximum speed.
