Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

There was a deafening noise. I felt a tremendous tremble beneath my feet the next second.

I noticed something in the sky abruptly.

Looking at dark mushroom clouds. My eyes lit up with comprehension. Those 2 must have used their trump card. Without a doubt, Cory Anderson must possess something that can preserve her life in dire circumstances.

I don’t know who these people are. However, they have underestimated her strength.

I have decided to wait for the time being. I’m not going there to expose myself.

The other hand, Rex was injured by the impact force. Already, he had reached his limit. Now this outcome has crushed his plan.

Swoosh!

The next second, he decisively left the place. He had used his trump card. If he stays here, then there is a risk of exposure. He does not want her to be aware that the Shadow Skull is the one directing the attack.

Not long after he left, a figure arrived at the spot. Cory swept her eyes across the place. When she realizes that the attacker is gone. Her eyes turned easy.

“They are not robbers,” Shs said to herself.

From the beginning to end, this was all done to lure her out. And the attacker was not a rogue wizard at all. The amount of combat experience and the trump card shows that it was carefully planned and done by members of certain organizations.

A person’s image comes to her mind.

“What happened to that foreigner?”She exclaimed in a shock.

Then she immediately contacts him. A hint of seriousness can be seen in her eyes. She wants to get back the business online. So all of her hope rested on the foreigner.

When the connection was established. A heavy stone fell from her heart.

“He is alive,” She muttered to herself.

The other hand, I started going back to the accident site after her call. When I reached the place. There was no sign of caravans or goods on the ground.

Everything was swept away by the previous force. freёwebnoѵel.com

“We should go back,” A beautiful voice reached my ears.

Cory Anderson came to me. She looked at me from top to bottom.

“Strange, I couldn’t see through your strength,” Cory said with a twinkle in her eyes. During her confrontation with the attacker.

She heard a murmuring of him. Then she came to know that. Those who came with him were also part of his group, not the rogue wizards.

The other hand, my heart skips a beat. The system is immune to the prying eyes. So my secret was safe. But this also made others think that I’m carrying some sort of magic artifact with me.

“Let’s go,” She said.

Hearing that I nodded my head. Then we started going back in her flying air car.

Purple City:

The old man Joe’s body is trembling in fear. His primary job is to protect the life of Young Miss. But he has failed in his job. Now the young miss was all alone with the foreigner.

And he doesn’t know about the foriegner’s identity and his motives. At this time, he should have stayed with her to protect. If something happens to her, then his ending will be miserable.

But somewhere in his heart he knows the strength of young Miss and the trump card given to her by the family. Unless a Magic Lord steps himself. No one can kill her.

Removing the thoughts, he started assisting the injured caravan members who returned with goods.

Soon the news about the bandits’ attack on the Purple Chamber Of Commerce’s Caravan swept away the city. The Business Families are shocked and scared for the future.

The Purple Chamber Of Commerce is one of the top 4 forces in the Lawless Country. Those who target the caravan cannot be simple bandits.

Even the layman on the streets can see through the news. So everyone was petrified by the news. The business families are scared that someone will target purple city.

If it happens, then they will suffer more. There are not many level-9 Wizards in the city. The level-9 Wizards can be considered as a Peak Stage.n

They usually spent time in isolation. If they appear outside, their presence will affect the surroundings. It’s unbearable for low and mid level wizards.

If they were forced to fight, then the purple city would be razed to the ground. An unknown fear starts to grip the heart of the purple city residents.

Those who are waiting outside of the city gate like refugees start to flee after hearing the news. Even some of the local residents who had a desire to leave earlier, started making moves.

The grim atmosphere shows that the upcoming future will not be peaceful.

A few hours later,

The Flying air car returns to the city. Then it landed on the open field of a beautiful villa behind the Purple Chamber of Commerce’s main building.

Creak!

The door opened. We stepped out of the car.

Swoosh!

A 2 figure instantly appeared in front of us. I looked at them. They are her old butler and maid.

“What are you doing here?”

“What happened to the injured people?” Cory asked impatiently. She was dissatisfied with Butler’s work of Butler.

Recently, the Butler has been focusing on other things than actual job.

“Miss, they are fine. They are now undergoing treatment,” Butler said in a low tone.

“Miss, I wish you had a backup. It would have been better. We still do not know what the foreigner’s intentions are,” The Maid said with concern.

Cory waves her hand to stop. She knows that Ethan has taken care of the other attackers. If not, her situation could have been worse.

“Ethan, you can go back to your office. Don’t tell anyone about the outside events,” She said with a hint.

The other hand, I nodded my head in understanding.

“She wishes to find out the culprit herself,” I said in my heart.

Then I looked at the old butler and the maid before leaving the place.

On my way towards the main building, I couldn’t help but think of the attack. Usually, escort routes are kept under wraps. Then how come the attacker laid the perfect ambush there.

Which shows that there is a mole inside. I hope the upcoming days will be peaceful. At least for a few months. Because I’m planning to make career out of Artifact Identifier/ Appraiser.

Soon, I returned to the underground basement and started resuming the work. So far I have not found anything significant and useful to me.

But the artifacts are useful for other high level wizards. From it, the Purple Chamber of Commerce can make good business.

Time passed,

Rex returned to one of the hideouts of the Shadow Skull to stay. Now, he has to think about the next course of action. He has accepted the mission. So he can’t afford to back away.

He still has confidence to complete the mission. Because the other party doesn’t know about the Shadow Skull behind this attack. Before they figure it out. He wants to capture her.

After gaining some clarity, he decides to wait and see the situation of the Purple City.

A few days passed,

The Purple City’s gloomy atmosphere vanishes upon realizing there was no subsequent attack.

But the Hawk Family is most concerned about the foreigner. The appraisal job was taken by the Foreigner. Which was a huge loss for them.

Now after seeing the support of Young Miss. They don’t know what to do. In the last few days, they came to know that the young miss was communicating with the foreigner.

There is also word out there that the foreigner’s appraisal skills are excellent . So much so that the auction house has made a good profit.

Which has raised the reputation of that foreigner. Looking at the current situation, they now fear retaliation. All it takes is one sentence for that foreigner to decide their fate.

The Hawk family elders regret it deeply. He underestimated the skills of the foreigner. Now looking at the blooming business. Not only his other family thinks that the foreigner has this level of appraisal skills due to his magic.

Meanwhile,

The Gang Leader Venice was glad that he didn’t offend Ethan. Now he understood that the foreigner was not a soft permission. He is making money for the Purple Chamber of Commerce.

If anyone offends him this time, they are simply making a death wish.

Basement office:

At this time, my gaze was fixed on the black ore. I found the black ore under the piles. I picked the ore and observed it carefully.

“What is this?” I asked myself.

I’m looking at it carefully. There is a white sparkle that can be seen in the ore.

Throb!

The next second, I felt a yearning from the mana core. It’s a strong sensation.

A hint of disbelief flashes in my eyes. Then I looked at the core again.

Something clicked in my mind, “Desire.”
