Chapter 891: Chapter 889: Sofia Arrives (Sixth Update)

The new movie premiere of both women had been set up swiftly; it was fortunate that the hall was large enough. Otherwise, it might not have been able to accommodate both events happening simultaneously.

As the time for the premiere approached, a continuous stream of journalists and celebrities from various sectors of the entertainment industry arrived on the scene.

These reporters and celebrities were naturally invited by the teams behind Zhou Xinyi and Zhou Ruoxuan to boost their presence.

However, most of these reporters and celebrities had gone to Zhou Ruoxuan’s premiere, leaving Zhou Xinyi’s side sparsely attended, which appeared quite desolate.

”Sister Fang, didn’t we invite a lot of reporters and some stars to support us?”

Zhou Xinyi asked her agent.

”We did invite many, but now a large part of the reporters have gone to Zhou Ruoxuan’s side. Some celebrities either went to their side or have had matters that prevented them from coming. There must be sabotage involved,”

said the agent with a somber expression.

”Xinyi, this premiere...”

At this moment, the film director also looked toward Zhou Xinyi, whose face turned unsightly as she glanced over at Zhou Ruoxuan. The latter’s premiere had already begun, and the seats laid out were almost all filled with a large crowd of reporters and celebrities, in stark contrast to Zhou Xinyi’s side.

”Miss Zhou!”

At this moment, Xiao Yifeng made his appearance here.

”Mr. Xiao!”

Zhou Xinyi said to Xiao Yifeng with a slight embarrassment in her demeanor.

”What happened here?”

Xiao Yifeng couldn’t help asking as he observed the situation at the two premieres.

”Well...”

Zhou Xinyi took a deep sigh and briefly explained the situation.

”That woman is your half-sister from the same father!”

Xiao Yifeng’s gaze briefly swept over Zhou Ruoxuan, who was answering questions from reporters.

”That’s right, she has always been discontent with my presence and harbored jealousy in her heart,”

Zhou Xinyi spoke indifferently.

”The one who instructed your agent to ruin you last time was her, wasn’t it!”

Xiao Yifeng exclaimed.

”Mhm!”

Zhou Xinyi nodded.

At that moment, Xiao Yifeng’s phone suddenly rang, and he answered it right away.

”You’re in Yanjing? Great timing. You’ve come at the right moment. Come to the Yanjing Convention and Exhibition Center immediately; I need your help!”

Xiao Yifeng was startled at first, but then spoke directly.

After hanging up the phone, Xiao Yifeng looked at Zhou Xinyi with a hint of a smile and said, ”Don’t worry; today your premiere will proceed smoothly without a hitch.”

”The reporters and stars I invited have all been lured away by her; I’m afraid this premiere can’t go on,”

Zhou Xinyi shook her head and sighed.

”You won’t be saying that soon,”

Xiao Yifeng said with a mysterious smile on his face.

About ten minutes later, the doors of the convention hall were opened, and several figures walked in slowly. Leading them was a foreign woman dressed in a red slit long dress, looking sexy yet elegant, with exquisite and radiant looks and wavy blonde curls.

She carried an air of unparalleled nobility, followed by several tall bodyguards in black suits.

This woman was none other than Sofia, who had just arrived in Yanjing from M Country and had called Xiao Yifeng upon her arrival, resulting in Xiao Yifeng requesting her presence here.

”Dear!”

Sofia saw Xiao Yifeng coming over and gave him a tight hug, then planted a firm kiss on his mouth.

”Okay, Sofia, I need your help with something.”

Xiao Yifeng began to speak.

”What is it, dear, tell me!”

Sofia looked at Xiao Yifeng with a tender expression.

”This is Zhou Xinyi, a friend of mine!”

”Miss Zhou, this is Sofia, I’m sure you’ve heard of her before!”

Xiao Yifeng introduced them.

”Sofia! Are you really that superstar queen, Sofia?”

Zhou Xinyi looked at Sofia with an incredulous expression, her small hand involuntarily covering her surprised, agape lips.

”Could there possibly be a second Sofia in the world?”

Sofia said with a gentle smile.

”This is unbelievable!”

Zhou Xinyi exclaimed, knowing that Sofia was a world-famous superstar queen, a big-name actress in Hollywood, M Country.

Compared with Sofia’s popularity and fame, Zhou Xinyi’s recognition in China was several levels lower; Sofia’s status in the entertainment industry was akin to the Qian Family’s position in the business world of China.

Zhou Xinyi had always idolized Sofia, and now she was seeing her idol standing right in front of her; the feeling was simply unimaginable.

”Alright, Sofia, I need to talk to you about something!”

Xiao Yifeng bent down and whispered in Sofia’s ear, who responded with a slight smile, ”This will be easy, isn’t it just about outshining the reporters and stars? I know quite a few top-tier stars and journalists in China, just a phone call and everything will be set.”

Sofia instructed a nearby assistant, who nodded and walked away.

”Ten minutes, and everything will change!”

Sofia smiled as she spoke.

But it took less than ten minutes before many of the journalists at Zhou Ruoxuan’s side spotted Sofia and recognized her.

”Isn’t that the superstar queen, Sofia?”

One journalist exclaimed at the sight of Sofia, immediately drawing the attention of the reporters around, their gazes turning toward her.

”It really is Sofia; she’s actually here!”

The group of journalists were utterly shocked, then swarmed toward Sofia in a frenzy, completely forgetting about Zhou Ruoxuan.

Even the supporting stars were excited to see Sofia, the major-league superstar queen. They all rushed over, and in a moment, Zhou Ruoxuan was left with no one around her, leaving her looking extremely displeased.

”Sofia, how come you’re in Yanjing? What brings you here?”

A throng of journalists crowded in front of Sofia, holding up their microphones and asking.

Sofia, smiling at the journalists present, replied, ”I’ve come to Yanjing this time to choose a few young Chinese actors to star in my next movie.”

”As for my presence here, it’s mainly to help Miss Zhou Xinyi promote her new movie, and I plan to include Miss Zhou Xinyi as one of the main actresses in my next film.”

Upon hearing Sofia’s words, the group of journalists and stars present were all startled, even Zhou Xinyi herself showed a look of amazement.

The movies featuring Sofia were top-quality productions, featuring world-class superstar actors, and countless stars were eager to be a part of them.

Even a cameo role would suffice, but Zhou Xinyi was directly chosen as one of the main actresses for Sofia’s next film—it was like soaring to the heavens in one step!

Suddenly, all the journalists’ microphones and cameras were aimed at Zhou Xinyi.

”Don’t be nervous, just answer well!”

Xiao Yifeng stood beside Zhou Xinyi and whispered softly, his eyes filled with an admiring look as he watched Sofia. He knew that her actions were all meant to boost Zhou Xinyi’s popularity and fame.
