Chapter 350: Chapter 350: Asking for Compensation

Xiao Yifeng followed the same method for the other leg of Lu Wenyuan, performing acupuncture and massage.

In less than ten minutes, Xiao Yifeng packed up his acupuncture kit and looked at Lu Wenyuan. ”How do your legs feel now?” he asked.

”It feels like there’s energy flowing through them, extremely comfortable, with not a hint of pain,”

Lu Wenyuan replied.

”Xiao Yifeng, is my grandfather’s rheumatism cured?”

Lu Xueqing hurriedly asked Xiao Yifeng.

”Don’t worry, what I promise[,] I deliver. Help your grandfather stand up and try,” he said.

A confident smile played on the corners of Xiao Yifeng’s mouth.

Straightaway, Lu Xueqing helped Lu Wenyuan to stand, both of them feeling somewhat apprehensive.

”Really, there’s no problem?”

When Lu Wenyuan actually stood up from the wheelchair, both were astonished.

Previously, due to rheumatism, standing would cause intense pain in the joints of Lu Wenyuan’s knees, and his legs would have no strength.

But now, he felt none of this pain. His legs seemed very light and filled with strength, letting him stand firmly on his feet.

”Is it really healed?”

Lu Xueqing also exclaimed in surprise at this moment.

”I told you, all it needed was ten minutes. My word is my bond,” Xiao Yifeng said as he sat down to the side, with a leg crossed over the other, watching the grandfather and granddaughter.

Amazement covered Lu Wenyuan’s face as he looked at Xiao Yifeng with eyes full of awe and admiration.

His ailment had been so difficult to treat that even the President of the Tianhai Traditional Chinese Medicine Association couldn’t cure it. Yet now, a young man in his twenties had healed him, an achievement worthy of admiration.

”Brother Xiao, I was blind not to see that you are a true master of medicine. You cured my decade-long illness with just your acupuncture and massage skills alone; that’s truly impressive!”

Lu Wenyuan looked at Xiao Yifeng with sincere admiration in his eyes, which held a deep fondness.

”You’re too kind, Old Master. I’m a peer of Principal Lu, so you can just call me Little Feeng,” Xiao Yifeng said nonchalantly.

”Alright, Little Feeng, from now on, you’re a great benefactor to the Lu Family. Xueqing, have a chat with Little Feeng. I’ll go tell Little Wang to prepare dinner. You shall dine here tonight, Little Feeng, as a small token of my appreciation,” Lu Wenyuan said as he headed out of the study, leaving Xiao Yifeng and Lu Xueqing alone in the room, the atmosphere suddenly becoming somewhat delicate.

”Thank you!”

Lu Xueqing looked at Xiao Yifeng with gratitude in her eyes.

”I just did you a big favor; are you thinking a simple thanks will suffice? Didn’t you say before that if I cured your grandfather, you would repay me?” Xiao Yifeng said, the corners of his mouth curling with a mischievous arc as he gazed intently at Lu Xueqing.

Lu Xueqing’s eyes flickered slightly, and after a moment of silence, she said, ”How would you like me to repay you?”

”It’s simple. Isn’t it customary for a woman to repay a man with her body?”

”Considering that you are quite good-looking, if you’re willing to offer yourself, I might reluctantly accept,” he teased.

”You...”

Hearing Xiao Yifeng’s latter remark, a flash of annoyance crossed Lu Xueqing’s eyes. With her appearance and qualifications, countless men pursued her. Yet here he was, making himself out to be doing her a favor by accepting her offer with reluctance!

In her mind, Lu Xueqing had already cursed Xiao Yifeng a hundred times.

”Aren’t you afraid I’ll tell Ya Xin? Isn’t this like seducing her best friend?” Lu Xueqing said coolly.

”How could it be seduction? This is my compensation, you’re not thinking of reneging, are you?”

Xiao Yifeng wore a look of indifference, his eyes gleaming as he sized up Lu Xueqing.

”You rascal, don’t you dare get ideas about me or I’ll definitely tell Ya Xin, and then you’ll be in for it.”

Lu Xueqing pursed her lips and humphed.

”Are you threatening me?”

Xiao Yifeng’s eyes held a playful glint as he stood up and walked over to Lu Xueqing.

”What... what are you going to do?”

As Xiao Yifeng suddenly stood in front of her, Lu Xueqing felt her nerves tense up, an inexplicable restlessness stirring in her heart.

”Mmm...”

The next second, Lu Xueqing let out an indistinct noise as Xiao Yifeng wrapped his arm around her and began to kiss her.

Lu Xueqing’s eyes widened in shock, wanting to struggle, but she couldn’t break free.

”Xueqing, Little Feng...”

Just then, the door to the study burst open, and Lu Wenyuan walked in, his expression freezing when he saw what was happening.

Both Lu Xueqing and Xiao Yifeng’s expressions changed when they saw Lu Wenyuan suddenly entering.

Lu Xueqing pushed Xiao Yifeng away with one hand.

”I just wanted to say that dinner is ready.”

Lu Wenyuan said somewhat awkwardly then added, ”Young people should still be mindful of the time and place.”

”Grandpa, we...”

”Alright, let’s eat!”

Lu Wenyuan smiled faintly and walked out, not giving Lu Xueqing a chance to explain.

”Look, this is all the great work you did, making Grandfather misunderstand, you big jerk!”

Lu Xueqing glared furiously at Xiao Yifeng, her eyes seemingly ready to devour the jerk whole.

”Who told you to try to wriggle out of it? I was doing you a big favor. Just a peck, nothing excessive, and it’s not your first time anyway, what are you afraid of?”

Xiao Yifeng said with a smile on his face.

”Jerk, you’re still talking? My first time was because you...”

Lu Xueqing, driven by exasperation, blurted out before stopping herself, her cheeks turning crimson.

”Don’t tell me that was your first time?”

”Damned guy, I’m going to kill you!”

Lu Xueqing, fuming with rage, clenched her fists and swung at Xiao Yifeng, who quickly darted away.

”Damned jerk!”

Lu Xueqing gnashed her teeth, cursing Xiao Yifeng silently in her heart, calling him a scoundrel and a jerk.

At the Lu Family dinner table, Lu Wenyuan, Lu Xueqing, and Xiao Yifeng were sitting together, with Lu Xueqing still glaring indignantly at Xiao Yifeng, who was leisurely enjoying his meal.

”Little Feng, when did you and Xueqing start dating, and when do you plan on getting married?”

Lu Wenyuan asked Xiao Yifeng casually.

Spurt!

Xiao Yifeng suddenly spit out the food he had just taken into his mouth, causing Lu Wenyuan to look startled.

”Married?” Xiao Yifeng’s eyes widened as he looked at Lu Wenyuan.
