The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

In the morning, Buck would spend two hours teaching Jesse. So during this time, the maids would take Tianmiao to play in the garden.

On this day, an uninvited guest came to Buck’s residence. The guest was the Third Princess, who was highly favored by the current Emperor. She had always wanted to apprentice under Buck, but he had refused her. Of course, the way of rejecting a Prince and a Princess was different. Toward the Princess, Buck’s refusal was relatively tactful.

The president of the Knight Association was a very sharp-tongued person, would someone who could become best friends with such a person be gentle? No. When the president initially refused the Second Prince, he told him to go back to sleep and dream of becoming his disciple. As for the Third Prince, seeing the Emperor and Empress’s favors, Buck said he didn’t want to take on a disciple because he was too old and lacked the energy to teach.

In actuality, what he said in front of the president was: ”Take on a disciple? Does he not look in the mirror? Teaching a pig would be easier than teaching him. With qualifications like that, he dares to ask to be my apprentice? The worst knight in the Griffin Group could beat him single-handedly while taking a crap!”

Upon hearing this comparison, the president found the conversation rather distasteful and hurriedly changed the subject.

As for the Princess, Buck said her qualifications were too good, and there was not much he could teach her. Knowing full well that Buck was making excuses, there was nothing that could be done. The matter of the Princess apprenticing under him was naturally put to rest.

This spoiled Princess was very much doted on by the Emperor and Empress. If it weren’t for the royal decree that no woman can ascend the throne, she would be the next Emperor.

The Princess was almost sixteen this year. Originally, she planned to make another effort on her birthday to request Buck to take her as a disciple. But before her birthday arrived, she learned that Buck was taking on a disciple. What’s more, Buck announced he would have only one disciple in his lifetime, and it would be Jesse. How could this not make the Princess angry?

She came today to see what kind of person this Jesse, whom Buck praised all day, really was! And also that Tianmiao. According to investigations, she was merely picked up by Jesse, but now Buck treated her as if she were his own granddaughter. It’s said that Buck would occasionally guide Tianmiao on moves, which was just too much!

After stepping down from the carriage, the Princess held the hem of her dress, and with an imposing manner, headed toward the front gate. But as soon as she approached the garden, she heard a burst of laughter.

Someone was also calling with concern, asking Miss Tianmiao to slow down and watch her step.

”Is it that sister picked up by Buck’s disciple?” The Princess frowned with displeasure.

”It should be.” The maid lowered her head and replied respectfully.

”Let’s go, take a look.” The Princess quickly walked towards the garden. The maid followed nervously. She was really afraid that the Princess would do something unwise in a moment of impulse. Buck’s status was just too special. Even the Emperor and Empress couldn’t afford to offend him. If the Princess were to do anything against the little girl whom Buck favored so much, she couldn’t even imagine how Buck would treat the Princess. No, if the Princess acted on impulse later, she must hold her back no matter what.

The Princess walked quickly and soon saw a few figures in the garden. She stopped a short distance away and unsurely asked the maid beside her, ”Did I see it wrong? Is that child picking roses?”

The maid looked up ahead and, after a moment of surprise, confirmed, ”You didn’t see wrong, that child is indeed picking roses.”

”Damn!” The Princess couldn’t help but utter a word that didn’t align with her well-bred upbringing. Everyone knew how much Buck cherished his rose garden. Anyone who dared to pick one of his roses would meet a terrible fate. But what had she just seen? She saw that child holding a pair of scissors, having cut a large bundle of roses!
