I Only Wanted A Class In The Apocalypse

Chapter 1797: Open the Hatch for Me!

[Just come over to this spot as fast as you can!] Hye knew the two got what that spot meant, and yet he didnʼt explain anything to them. Instead, he kept checking the grand map of the battlefield, making sure everything was going smoothly as he planned.

”I came through lots of troubles just to get here,” Hye was feeling more worried the closer everything came to an end, ”I need to be sure nothing goes astray…”

He kept muttering to himself this, double checking, triple checking everything. He even kept a track over the latest news spread over the different channels, even asked the pirate king and lady nymph to keep him updated of any unseen development.

The main problem lay in that he didnʼt share what he wanted to do, so the two didnʼt know what to be considered as normal and what to be considered an unseen development.

[See the current layout of forces? If such an arrangement got changed for any reason, you must inform me about that.] Hye still didnʼt say anything about his real intentions, and just said this when they asked him about more details.

He didnʼt want any of them to commit any mistake out of stress. Moving according to the plan in the middle of an ongoing battle was a thing and doing it when things were about to get done and they would win it big was something else.

Hye kept his lips tightly shut, just kept closely following everyoneʼs movement while he started to move with his fastest speed. Even if he wasnʼt that far away from the other two, he didnʼt leave anything for luck and replaced the flagship with his small ship.

”The only drawback is that Iʼd lose my eyes over the entire battlefield, but it canʼt be helped!” He shook his head when he saw the very small range his shipʼs radar provided intel into, ”I canʼt wait to see what that caravan holds in the end!”

Hye knew he overdid himself this time and pulled a grand feat against the universeʼs mighty races. Yet he wasnʼt feeling much accomplishment, not until he would check what was inside that caravan.

Even if he was this eager, he didnʼt let the lady nymph take a peek at what was inside. ”What if there was some sort of protective trap inside? Or perhaps deadly weapons or a scary race like my Soulers?” he thought to himself, knowing that it was best to check what was inside that caravan back home.

The distance from lady nymph and pirate king fleets and the spot Hye marked for them wasnʼt that far away. It was about five hours away, a travel distance that looked nothing compared to what these two travelled just in this war. And yet it was considered the longest and hardest journey the two faced ever in this war.

[We are closing in] lady nymph was moving a bit faster than the pirate king, taking the lead while he defended the rear, [now canʼt you tell us what you plan?]

[First of, there is no use in that lineup the two of you did] Hye couldnʼt help but laugh, [just get together in a single ship]

[A single ship? Have you lost it already? Canʼt you see the sheer number of enemies heading towards us from all directions?]

[Just do it as I say] Hye couldnʼt help but laugh once more when he read what the pirate king sent, [and as we are doing this, you know how to put your ship on autopilot, right?]

[Autopilot? What for?] The lady nymph could hardly control her anxiety, [are you trying to mock us before we all die?]

[Just do as I say] Hye knew there was no time to waste on such debate.

[What about the caravan then?] The pirate king asked, [we pulled it using the help of the ladyʼs flagship. Can you tell us at least what you plan…]

[Poof! And the caravan is gone!] Hye sent these words, while the caravan really vanished in thin air, [just get on lady nymphʼs ship as soon as possible, and make sure you two put your ship on autopilot, heading towards the destination I marked!]

[...]

The two wanted to scream and shout at his face, and yet they didnʼt do any of that. The sigh of the caravan vanishing in thin air was quite shocking, yet it meant one simple fact; Hye was already here!

As he came to their side, it was now clear that he had a way out of here. The pirate king didnʼt delay any longer, moved in a small ship and headed fast towards the ladyʼs nymphʼs flagship.

[We are here, where are you?] After ten minutes, the pirate king had already reached the ladyʼs nymph place. And yet Hye was nowhere to be seen.

[Give me a minute, coming at you at high speed!] Hyeʼs words left the two quite speechless. They didnʼt get what he meant until the pirate king pointed towards the map shown by the radar.

[Holy moly, wasnʼt he just right next to us a few minutes ago?!] The lady nymph couldnʼt help but blurt out in disbelief when she spotted what the pirate king pointed at. It was a long trail left behind by a fast-moving ship, and that ship just came from far a distance away.

[Donʼt tell me someone else got the caravan…]

[Donʼt be ridiculous!] Hye laughed, [if someone else did it, would I have remained silent all this time? Stop overthinking things, and get ready to kiss goodbye to this forsaken battlefield]

[What?!!!] The two of them sent at the same time, feeling the same wave of shock and disbelief towards what Hye just sent. And before any of them would awake from their daze, Hye was already next to their ship.

[Open the hatch for me] Hye couldnʼt believe he had been waiting outside without opening the door for him to enter, [or do you prefer for me to break through?]
