Delta is Coming, Big Red Has Special Effects

165: This is also Liu Yan’s soldier”Let’s deal with what’s in front of us first, Brothers, follow me.” Liu Yan finished speaking and waved to the Soldiers.

Just as Liu Yan was looking seriously at Longbow Stream Valley in the distance... Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Six Soldiers appeared above Liu Yan in quick succession, pinning him firmly to the ground.

”Ah, you scared me to death, I almost died. Why are those black and white people so powerful now?”

”We fell for it. The person dressed like a cowboy was a decoy!”

”Who would have thought that hundreds of people were hidden in an aquarium!”

”You’re crushing me, get up quickly!”

The Soldier at the very bottom frantically patted the others above him who were still shaken and replaying the events.

However, a hand also patted his side.

”Get up quickly...”

The Soldiers stood up one after another, only to realize that the one they were pressing down on was... their boss.

No wonder it didn’t hurt, there was a cushion after all.

Another group of Soldiers looked on, clearly annoyed.

But the three Soldiers who had initially pinned Liu Yan down had just been fighting alongside them.

This meant they didn’t harbor much animosity towards these six Soldiers.

The six Soldiers awkwardly helped Liu Yan up.

”Sorry, Boss... We almost died, so we had to use the ruby.”

”We didn’t expect to arrive in this way either.”

Liu Yan shook his head helplessly.

There would be many more such incidents in the future; there was no way to refuse them.

But Long Wu and the other operatives widened their eyes at this sight.

Although there were only six Soldiers, the way they appeared was through the ten thousand gold tear crown.

You gave six Soldiers such an item all at once?

Thinking of this, they all looked at the other group of Soldiers.

Perhaps they also came this way?

”You really went all out,” Long Wu couldn’t help but say.

Liu Yan waved his hand, not saying much more.

”I’m taking them to clear out Bin City. Do you want to stay safely on the rooftop, or should I take you downstairs?”

The reason for asking was that while the rooftop could prevent attacks from Soldiers and avoid being surrounded, if there were blue eagle helicopters, the people on the rooftop would be no different from targets.

”Take us down. There should still be quite a few survivors.”

”You go clear out the Soldiers, I’ll organize the refugees.”

”Although they are all ordinary people, they will also be a part of the nation’s fighting force in the future.”

Liu Yan nodded.

”Alright, take them down.”

At Liu Yan’s command, all the Soldiers extended their arms, tucking the operatives one by one under their armpits, then leaped from the rooftop.

Even Long Wu didn’t require Liu Yan to exert himself.

Whoosh—!

Liu Yan also leaped down, landing steadily on the ground.

”By the way, which direction did you come from? I’ll go check for survivors there.”

Liu Yan subconsciously pointed in the direction he had come from.

Jinshui District.

”Over there, there’s still a mother and child. The other survivors were killed by me.”

Liu Yan didn’t hide anything, as Long Wu might inquire about it after arriving.

Long Wu, who was about to turn around, stopped in his tracks and looked at Liu Yan with shock.

”What?! Killed???”

The other operatives also couldn’t believe their ears.

Killed?!

Everyone was busy trying to save more ordinary people, and you just killed them all?

”Do you know what you’re doing?”

One of the operatives narrowed his eyes at Liu Yan.

The others also silently prepared, ready to attack Liu Yan’s Soldiers at any second.

Although they might not win, they would still fight.

Liu Yan took off his helmet, flipped it over, and placed it before everyone.

On the back of his helmet, a clear bullet mark was visible.

Though it hadn’t created a hole, the mark clearly showed it was caused by a bullet.

”If not for this helmet, I would have died, and you all would have died in that encirclement just now.”

”I had originally saved them casually, and when I was about to leave, I got shot.”

Long Wu took a deep breath and slowly spoke:

”For resources.”

Liu Yan nodded.

Long Wu’s face was filled with worry.

The worst-case scenario had still occurred.

But it was also an inevitable situation.

People are selfish.

Similarly, most people want to control their own destiny.

The sense of security provided by a weapon in one’s own hand is far greater than one in someone else’s.

”When you organize the refugees, it’s best to be careful.”

”Next to the Medido Mall, there’s an old residential building where that mother and child are hiding.”

After telling Long Wu the address of Dr. Zhao’s family, Liu Yan prepared to leave.

His waist power propulsion device instantly blasted out a wave of air.

He flew towards one of the Longbow Stream Valley directions within the city.

Seeing this, the Soldiers followed without a word, using the grappling hooks of their power propulsion device and Emergency Evasion Device.

”Wait! The three of us are weapon Soldiers!”

”Someone come get us!”

Three of the Soldiers widened their eyes, desperately sprinting to keep up with the team.

Three Soldiers with power propulsion devices heard the sound.

They simultaneously flew backward, then each wrapped an arm around their waists, bringing them into the air.

Liu Yan, who turned his head and saw this scene from the very front, couldn’t help but sigh in admiration. These Soldiers were already extremely proficient with the power propulsion device.

Backward flight with a reinforced power propulsion device was very difficult.

Moreover, they had just been close to the ground.

This showed how much sweat and effort they had put in when he wasn’t around.

After Liu Yan left, one of the operatives couldn’t help but look at Long Wu:

”Captain Long... Liu Yan, he...”

Long Wu raised his hand to interrupt.

He knew what the other person wanted to say.

People like Liu Yan were extremely unstable.

While immensely powerful, he showed no mercy to others.

The Authorities had heard about Liu Yan’s deeds in the operational areas before.

But after all, Liu Yan was mostly involved in confidential matters, and had only been in Top Secret Area twice.

The Authorities tacitly approved of the struggles in the Third District.

But now it was different.

Now it had fully descended; killing meant truly killing.

Being killed also meant truly dying.

”Liu Yan is not an official Authority member.”

”And others shot at him first.”

”Don’t forget, besides Hafke and Asara’s Soldiers, others are equally dangerous; they also have weapons.”

”Some people living will only lead to more people dying.”

”When you rescue survivors later, keep a close eye on your weapons, just in case.”

”Once you find extremists, knock them out immediately and tie them up.”

On the way to Jinshui District, Long Wu and his group encountered three Soldiers flying towards them from the opposite direction using power propulsion devices.

All the operatives were about to raise their weapons, but Long Wu extended his arm to stop them.

”These should also be Liu Yan’s Soldiers.”

Indeed, when the Soldiers flew above Long Wu and his group, they made no moves.

”Our boss was afraid you people would die on the way, so he specifically left nine Brothers to support you.”

”Who is Long Wu?”

Long Wu looked up at the sound.

”I am.”

”The boss wants them to assist you with all their might.”

”But as their comrade, I must remind you that our Brothers only follow the boss.”

”Do not treat them as subordinates to be manipulated at will.”

Liu Yan, who was on the road earlier, specifically used the military radio to contact those Soldiers.

Otherwise, when Long Wu and his group approached, those Soldiers would absolutely not listen to a word from Long Wu.

”Alright, thank Liu Yan for me.”

Long Wu expressed his sincere gratitude.

The leading Soldier in the air nodded, then flew away into the distance.

”Favors are still useful,” Long Wu couldn’t help but sigh.

If it were just them, encountering a large number of Soldiers would put them in a situation of waiting for death.

Reinforcements they could contact wouldn’t be able to arrive for a while.

The Soldiers Liu Yan provided were undoubtedly a timely help.
