MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 770 Four Pillars: An Unintended Mechanic

?Hearing the monotonous voice of the trial grounds signal the official end of his fight against Nila, it was only then did the young man snap back to reality.

Continuing to remain silent as he stood in place, Valyr made a light swipe on his forehead, his thoughts rewinding what had happened not long earlier over and over again.

Feeling a slight heat suffusing from his cheeks, the young man slightly shook his head, thinking to himself that the kiss was just her way of showing gratitude to him for being great company during their fight.

Perhaps, there wasnʼt even any purpose to it at all.

After all, with how sudden Nila had kissed him on the forehead, it seemed like the kiss was a last-minute thought, as if it was just a habit ingrained to her.

With thoughts running along a similar vein lingering in his mind, the young man eventually calmed himself down, pushing the thought of the kiss to the side as he stared at the dagger he had received.

”[Superior Analysis].” Deciding to use his identification skill on the dagger Nila reforged, Valyr thought about how he had only focused on the weaponʼs rarity while they were identifying each otherʼs weapons during the fight.

However, now that he had more than enough time in the world to look at the weaponʼs description in detail, a wry smile crept up the young manʼs lips as thoughts of the kiss surfaced in his mind once again.

ʼI guess thereʼs more to it than it seems.ʼ

Ding!

Like a pair of comets flying through the vastness of space, though it may seem unlikely, there would be a small moment where the two of them would come across each other, even for an ephemeral moment.

With this thought in mind, the blacksmith that breathed new life into this weapon poured such a concept into it, accompanying it with other concepts related to space and the celestial objects that exist within it.

Nevertheless, this weaponʼs true motive is to… description has been omitted.

Remarks: An intertwining of concepts and intents having taken great form. There is more than meets the eye to this weapon.

Though the description of the weapon made Valyr wonder once more whether there was more to the kiss he had received, that did not stop him from fully appreciating the craftsmanship and effort that went behind the daggerʼs reforge.

Not only that, but he felt like there was still something missing about the dagger, reminding Valyr about Nilaʼs words where she mentioned that there was a chance for them to meet in the future.

Feeling a hint of expectation for a time that was still far from his grasp, the young man soon kept the dagger into his spatial bracelet.

At the same time, the monotonous voice resounded throughout the trial ground once more, informing Valyr on how much time he had before the next battle begun.

ʼYou have one day to rest before the next opponent appears.ʼ

”Itʼs definitely better than just having 30 minutes to rest,” said the young man in response, briefly letting out a chuckle soon after.

After that, he brought a few specific items from his spatial bracelet, setting up what looked to be a temporary resting place similar to the one he had set up before his fight with Nila.

Sensing the exhaustion he had accumulated over the fight with Nila finally coming to the surface, the young man allowed nature to take its course as he lied down on his resting spot before taking some long-awaited rest.

Waking up sometime later, Valyr asked the monotonous voice the very moment he woke up as to how much time there was left before the next fight began.

Hearing that there were still a few more hours before then, the young man inwardly let out a sigh of relief as he quickly made some food for himself.

Digging into the small meal he had cooked in haste, he then opened up the party chat, wanting to be updated on how the others faring after their previous updates.

Surprisingly, all of them had already received the rewards the Gates of Awakening had given for their efforts, prompting Valyr to think about how much time he had spent during the seventh fight.

With the other four telling him that it had been over a day since all of them left the Gates of Awakening and returned to their makeshift camp, a bitter smile appeared on Valyrʼs face as he slightly wondered whether or not to surrender and join the others at this point.

Fortunately, recalling the quest he had and the rewards attached to it allowed him to remain steadfast, apologizing to the others that he was still going through the trials the Gates of Awakening threw at him.

After receiving a few words of encouragement from the others, Valyr took the time to stow away all the items he had brought out from his spatial bracelet whilst he got himself into prime condition.

Coincidentally, just as he felt like he was more than ready to take on his next opponent, the monotonous voice began to echo throughout the trial grounds once more.

Though, unlike its many announcements before, there was now something more to the voiceʼs announcement.

ʼYour eighth and final opponent shall appear in 3… 2… 1…ʼ
