Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1292: Chapter 1291: We Each Fulfill Our Duties

”What Manager Wu said is not wrong, but the explanation is somewhat superficial. If we delve deeper into it, it means everyone should do their duties and not mix up the order. If trainees start directing generals, and generals start listening to trainees, it will cause problems. Such practices are absolutely not allowed within the company.”

Li Yan’s voice was calm; people unfamiliar with him could not grasp his emotions at all. He said, ”A lord is a lord, a commander is a commander, and a trainee is a trainee. The lord is responsible for making arrangements, the commander for deploying, and the trainee for executing actions. The company follows the same principle!”

Lately, Li Yan’s desk has been piled with many useless things.

Among them are company reports, financial statements, contracts from various departments, and proposals from each department.

Decisions that belong to him, and tasks that do not, are all pressed upon him, even under the guise of needing to adapt quickly.

In the early stages, Li Yan indeed had to adapt to the company’s internal procedures and the situation of each department, so he did not say much. But until now, they still wanted to use these things to trouble him, to pressure him, to make him compromise. Such an approach is absolutely wrong.

Wu Genmao’s face turned pale blue, directly provoked to a state of indecisiveness, and he said, ”General Manager... we are all doing our duties, it’s just that things have not progressed because you are not satisfied...”

Li Yan raised his hand again, tapped the file twice, and said, ”If even making me satisfied is difficult, then your abilities are yet to be proven.”

The relationship between upper and lower ranks is such that subordinates must satisfy their superiors. All matters are based on fulfilling the superiors’ wishes.

If making the superior satisfied now has become an unreasonable condition, then there is little meaning in the company’s existence.

Li Yan would not give an inch.

Sheng Qingning had a massive headache.

However, until now, he was aware that this couldn’t continue.

Having thought this through, he gave Wu Genmao a signal not to speak further and said, ”In that case, let’s proceed according to General Manager Li’s instructions!”

He cannot be too conspicuous with many things; if this goes on, it will definitely result in being fired.

For now, gradual progress is the only solution.

Slow and orderly advancement is better than provoking Li Yan quickly.

”Yes!” The other executives at the meeting table responded. As matters stood, they could only watch cautiously and advance one step at a time.

In the meeting room, everyone had their own thoughts. Li Yan steadfastly held his ground, exuding an air of determination without any intention of backing down until the meeting ended...

The meeting was finally over.

Li Yan was the first to stand up. His black leather shoes stepped on the marble floor as he walked towards the door.

He had just taken a couple of steps when Operations Director Qiao Yangrou stood up. She practically rushed behind Li Yan, saying, ”General Manager Li...”

’Creak--’

The meeting room door was pulled open.

Qiao Yangrou initially intended to grab Li Yan, but due to this sudden change, she was caught off guard, her body involuntarily leaning forward, stumbling towards the door.

Li Yan sensed the change behind him. As he was stepping out of the doorway, he sidestepped, avoiding Qiao Yangrou’s movement.

However...

At that moment, a familiar figure appeared in Li Yan’s vision, and a trace of joy gradually emerged in his deep-set eyes.

Gu Tong moved nimbly, and just upon seeing Li Yan, she rushed quickly to the door. From nowhere, she pulled out a bouquet of roses and said, ”Honey, I’m back...”

”Ouch...” Qiao Yangrou stumbled and fell, just colliding into Gu Tong.

Qiao Yangrou’s hand accidentally struck the bouquet of roses, causing them to be knocked away.
