Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 339: 339: Just left not long ago

Gu Tong chose a relatively secluded place for cover; she knew clearly that her time was limited.

Now, she hadn’t removed the tracker on her yet, posing a constant risk of being ambushed.

However, fortunately, the compass tracker she had seized showed the positions of the enemy; those small moving black dots were their exact locations.

Based on time calculations, she had about seven minutes to use, which was more than enough for Gu Tong.

After confirming everything, Gu Tong took the first step, which was to change her outfit――

She eagerly tore off the thin layer inside the gear bag and then quickly pulled off her jacket. Her brows furrowed instantly as her eyes caught sight of something the size of a fingertip, soft as a piece of cloth—black.

No need to guess, this must be the tracker!

Current technology wasn’t advanced enough to make the tracker completely invisible.

Gu Tong keenly recognized this fact, and a fresh idea surged in her mind!

She quickly removed the black tracker, a growing smile on her lips.

Professor Mo, don’t you like to play games! This time, Miss will gladly play along with you and make sure it’s exhilarating!

All thoughts were decided in an instant, meanwhile, Gu Tong began to take action.

She no longer hurried to change clothes but quickly removed the tracker from her body. As she expected, it was placed on her clothing, box, and gear!

Everywhere she could think of was covered— no mistakes.

Gu Tong’s lips twitched a few times, deeply resenting and condemning Mo Zishuang’s intent to put her to death.

...

Seven minutes vanished in a flash.

The black dots on the tracker were getting closer.

Gu Tong didn’t change locations but continued to hide where she had removed the tracker.

She hadn’t processed all the trackers yet, so there were still about six or seven trackers in her hand.

Her eyes glanced at the locator in her hand, sharply noticing that the black dot had already approached...

The place where she was hiding was likewise a bush, her army green camouflage blended seamlessly with the leaves.

Through the gaps in the leaves, she could see a squad gradually approaching!

The same configuration of eight people per team, division of labor clear, formation neat, truly an elite squad.

They were glaring at the bush with a stance that suggested they wanted to charge in.

The leading captain extended his hand but had not yet touched the edge of the bush when he heard――

”Captain, the tracker at this position isn’t moving...”

One of the squad members picked up the device, his brows knitted together and he said, ”North-South direction! The target is moving...”

He spoke this sentence nervously, but with some worry inside, knowing clearly that only the moving target point is the ’Undead’; positions aside from this are all traps.

The ’Undead’ had many trackers on them; randomly throwing one away could create the illusion of another position point.

”Let me see!”

The captain withdrew his hand, turned around, picked up the tracker, and furrowed his brow tightly, saying, ”Looking at this tracking position, it’s indeed not far from us; the ’Undead’ should have just left not long ago!”

This position, although unmoving, and a discarded danger point, could also prove that the ’Undead’ was here before.
