I Can Devour Monsters' SSS Talents

Even after twenty-five years in this world, Aren had never seen anything like this.

He did not want to admit it or anything like that ... he had no such intention at all, but the scene in front of him was truly terrifying and bloody.

It even reminded him, to some extent, of those first days when the Monsters had entered human cities and started killing and destroying humans ...

”Is this... human?” he asked quietly.

Seris did not answer for a while, her eyes fixed on the mist, this was also the first time she had seen Lian use this Skill, and it was strange even for her.

She was not a kind girl who cared about the lives of Monsters or non-human races, but even for her, the scene in front of her was strange.

Of course, she could not say that she disliked it either ...

”No.” she said afterward.

Aren looked at her, and in the end, both of them decided to stay silent, each with different thoughts, and it was unclear what either of them was thinking.

And he looked at the battlefield again and felt a new feeling toward Lian inside him.

Fear.

He had just understood that when Lian had said in the prison, ”By breaking everything in our way,” he had not only meant escaping from the prison.

This man seemed to use that strategy for almost his entire journey.

Inside the Domain, System notifications appeared at a crazy speed.

[You Have Killed a Cindari Lv.20.]

[Stat Points Acquired.]

[Stat Points: 202]

[Stat Points: 217]

Then,

[Stat Points: 273]

Lian moved through the mist, every time the Domain took another victim, Butcher reacted.

Some soldiers died directly from the Poison and pressure of the Domain, some became weak and he finished them.

Although their deaths looked painful, they actually were not, they did not even realize how they were dying.

If the poison could kill them, it only took a few seconds, and if they became paralyzed, they could not feel anything anymore, so despite how terrifying it looked, the Cindari were not really suffering pain.

A group tried to escape from the north, all of them had already given up on fighting this monster and only wanted to run away.

Thunder Step.

Lian appeared in front of them, the Domain moved with him and the mist followed behind him like a sea of blood.

Their escape route was blocked, the soldiers turned around and went in the other direction.

But there was mist there too.

[Stat Points: 301]

Varesh’s voice was heard from somewhere far away.

”Retreat!” This was the first time an official order to retreat had been given.

The same soldiers who had shouted a few minutes ago that the enemy was only one person were now throwing away their armor so they could run faster.

One Rootbound Warden dropped his shield, one archer threw away his bow, the Flame Mages removed their robes because they felt the mist sticking to the cloth.

But the Domain passed through cloth, passed through armor, and passed through Barriers.

Some only ran a few dozen meters before falling to their knees.

[Stat Points: 419]

Lian increased his speed.

He reached the remaining groups inside the mist, Thunder Calamity sometimes creating a flash of blue light for a moment.

Cataclysm Pulse broke a Barrier, Glacial Reaper Claw blocked another escape route.

The Domain itself was enough.

But Lian had turned it into a hunting ground.

Varesh watched the scene from a distance, the army he had commanded for years was no longer an army.

The soldiers no longer followed orders, the units had collapsed, there were no lines anymore.

There was no communication left, the only thing that existed was escape.

He understood that the reports from Vhalaris were not exaggerated, they might have even been incomplete.

”This creature...” The word human did not even come to his mind, he did not even know what he should call the thing in front of him.

Were all humans like this? He doubted it, they had captured and tortured several humans, and some of them had even died.

That had made him even more confident about their plan to escape to their world, if all humans were this weak, conquering their world would be easy, right?

But unfortunately, they were terribly wrong.

None of them were this powerful or this terrifying ... so why was this human so powerful?

[Stat Points: 533]

The number of notifications became smaller, not because the Skill had become weaker, but because the number of living people inside the Domain had decreased.

Lian felt this, most of the army was either dead, or had escaped and left the area.

He moved the Domain with himself and a group of thirty people was running between the trees.

Thunder Step.

The mist moved several dozen meters, and the screams started again.

[Stat Points: 601]

[Stat Points: 722]

Lian no longer felt anything like a battle, the battlefield had become completely one-sided and he was only collecting Stats.

Although he was slowly starting to feel tired.

[Stat Points: 771]

[Warning! Warning! Warning!]

[Your Remaining Mana Is Below 10 Units.]

[You Have A Maximum Of Three Minutes Of Mana Remaining.]

’So this is my current limit?’ he thought, many of the Cindari were running away and he made no effort to stop them.

He did not have the ability to do that, and besides, he could only use his Skills for a maximum of three more minutes, and he could fight for five minutes at most.

His time to end this battle was slowly running out.

At that moment, a young officer passed between two trees.

His armor was broken, he had dropped his sword, and he was only running.

Lian activated Thunder Step and appeared in front of him, the officer was so terrified that he could not even stop.

Lian hit his chest with a short strike and the man’s body fell to the ground.

[Stat Points: 792]

A new panel immediately appeared.

[Temporary Stat Growth Limit Reached.]

[Maximum Additional Stat Points Available at Current Level: 792.]

[Further Stat Acquisition Has Been Suspended.]

[Restriction Will Be Reassessed After Level Advancement / Evolution.]

Lian stood in the middle of the mist for a moment and looked at the notification.

”So this has a Limit too, my guess was right.” This made sense.

If there was no limit, he could raise his Stats without limit by killing thousands of creatures.

But the System had currently placed a limit before the first Evolution, and he had reached that limit.

He looked at his panel and realized that his total unused and used Stats were exactly 4000, and this guess was also correct.

His limit was twice that of Awakened with five-star classes.

Lian looked around, there was no need to continue the killing.

He deactivated Bloodborne Calamity Domain.

The mist became calm at first, then returned toward the center like something alive and the red and black strands gathered from between the trees.

The forest became visible again and what had been hidden behind the mist appeared.

The ground was covered with corpses, armors had fallen between the roots, broken shields.

Spears, bows, overturned carts, two Ballistas were completely destroyed and the third was stuck between a broken tree.

Several War Beasts were dead or had escaped, parts of the forest had burned and some tree trunks had broken because of Cataclysm Pulse.

And a heavy silence had fallen over everything, six hundred soldiers had entered this part of Emberroot and only one person was standing against them.

Of course, this did not mean that all of them were dead, many had also managed to escape, they had spread in every direction and had used the fact that Lian was busy with the others to escape.

Of course, it did not matter, no matter how many there were, they would never dare to stand against humans again, and it was unlikely that they would recover from the trauma they had experienced.

And in short, there was now nothing left of that army in front of him, except one commander.

Lian had been watching Varesh from the beginning.

The commander’s insignia, his position in the center of the column, and the soldiers’ reactions to his orders all showed that he was the most important person in the army.

That was why, when Lian expanded the Domain, he deliberately changed the path of the mist so Varesh would not be in the center of the most dangerous area.

The commander was now lying under a broken tree trunk, his armor burned in several places.

Some of the Bloodborne Poison had entered his body and the veins on his neck had turned dark, but he was still conscious.

He heard footsteps and raised his head.

Lian was coming toward him through the last strands of mist.

Varesh looked around, there were no soldiers beside him.

No Healer, no communication officer, no Rootbound Warden to raise a shield in front of him.

Only a monster.

”What... are you?” The commander’s eyes became empty for a moment as he asked in a weak voice.
