I Can Devour Monsters' SSS Talents

”Be careful! This is dangerous!” Sera screamed in terror upon seeing that monster.

She had not expected those damn bastards to go that far and actually try to kill them... was their tribe leader insane?

She was the daughter of a tribe leader! If she was killed here, it could lead to war!

Or maybe not...

’The distance between our tribe and this place is great. The environmental advantage is with them. If a war starts because of my death, our tribe will definitely be the loser.’ She sighed.

The power difference between the three tribes is not much, but each has a decisive advantage in their own environment, and this advantage is even more obvious in such a swamp environment.

”Don’t worry.” Seris said lazily and did not seem worried at all...

The monster’s four mouths opened at the same time, streams of green and purple poison were thrown at her.

Sera jumped back, but Seris moved straight forward.

The dark mana around her body pushed the poison aside. She ran up the wall with one step, her body rose, and she landed on one of the Hydra’s heads.

The sword moved, one diagonal cut, and all four heads were severed from the neck in one path.

Before the massive body could fall to the ground, Seris sank the blade into the center of the neck.

The monster’s vital core was split open, and the green light inside its body went out.

The Hydra fell to the ground with a loud crash. The entire battle had taken less than a few seconds.

Sera looked at the massive corpse.

Then at Seris.

”How?” Her eyes sparkled with disbelief.

A monster she considered invincible had been killed that easily in a few moves...?

Are all Otherworldlies that powerful? Why is killing a monster that could destroy their tribes so easy for these outsiders?

Is their species that powerful? Or is there another reason?

And it wasn’t just Seris. Even Lian, from her view, was a monster. The battle against the Black Brood Matriarch was something different, an exceptional enemy, a calamity... but he had managed to kill that monster with his bare hands...

Most creatures, in front of people like Lian or Seris, don’t even have the chance to turn a conflict into a real battle.

The poisonous mist in the hall became thicker.

”How? Damn it!” Maelith appeared from within it. She was horrified for a moment upon seeing that the swamp guardian had been killed so easily.

Why weren’t any of the traps working? Why couldn’t any of the soldiers kill this predatory outsider?

Why? Why? Why?

”No! It’s not possible that I lose!” A green and purple aura spun around her body.

[Poison Matriarch]

Different poisons in the air combined with each other.

A mist formed that not only disrupted vision but also slowed mana flow and deceived the senses.

”Die, you foreign bitch! Die! Die! Die!”

”Even the strongest bodies need time to break down poison.” Maelith said with confidence.

Seris came forward from within the mist, without coughing and without slowing down.

The dark mana moved around her skin and kept the poison particles away from her body.

”You!- you? What are you?” Maelith was truly scared for the first time, all her plans had failed so easily.

The other Otherworldlies they had killed were not that hard!

What the hell was this damn thing?

”I’m in a hurry.” Seris answered and then attacked.

Maelith did not even have time to step back. Seris appeared in front of her, and the tip of her sword was placed on her throat.

The pressure was very light, only a single drop of blood fell from under the blade.

”The map.” the young Pendragon said.

Maelith looked around, her warriors were on the ground, the traps were destroyed.

The poisons had no effect. The guardian monster had been killed in a few seconds, and the girl in front of her had not even been forced to fight seriously.

With her skill, she had pushed aside all the poison and the area returned to normal.

”Bring it.” Finally, with fear and having no other choice, she said.

One of the remaining people moved in fear, a few minutes later the third map piece was brought in a wooden box.

Maelith handed it to Seris, but before letting go, she said.

”By taking this map, you will become enemies of things that even we avoid.”

”Doesn’t matter.” Seris took the piece.

She removed her sword from Maelith’s throat and then turned back without another look.

”Let’s go.”

On the way back, Sera remained silent for a long time. Her hostility had not gone away.

She still could not forgive what Seris had done to her father, but now she had a different understanding of her.

Seris did not enjoy torture or pain. She had incapacitated Averian in the simplest and fastest way.

Not out of hatred and not out of anger, but only because at that moment he was her enemy. This truth did not make her actions right.

But it showed that she was not dealing with an evil creature in the usual sense.

Seris was more like a blade. A blade does not make moral distinctions between friend and enemy.

It only acts based on who stands in front of it.

”Do you always fight like that?” Sera finally asked.

”Like what?” Seris said.

”As if nothing can touch you.”

”Lian can.” Seris thought for a few moments and then said.

Sera gave her gaze to her. This was the first time Seris had mentioned Lian’s name without being directly asked.

She had realized that this girl behaved very differently with Lian... her feminine intuition told her that.

Even though she had only seen them together once or twice, just by comparing this girl’s behavior with herself and others, and then her behavior when standing next to Lian, it was completely clear.

When she stands next to him, she gives off a completely different vibe. She didn’t know how to describe it... but her vibe was different from her current vibe.

Right now, she gave off more of a goddess of war and destruction vibe, bringing war and destruction with her wherever she went, so much so that even standing next to her made it hard to breathe and caused terror.

”He has defeated you?” Sera asked quietly.

”Yes, he is the only one.” The silver-haired girl answered, there was no shame in her voice, nor sadness, but more like an admission of an important truth.

At that moment, Sera understood better why Seris behaved differently with Lian.

In a world where almost no one was worth her attention, Lian was the only one who had been able to force her to get serious.

She fell silent... maybe that’s why her behavior with Lian is different... because that boy is the only one who has managed to defeat this dangerous goddess...

And that’s why this girl becomes tamer and calmer around him... or maybe she just cares about what Lian thinks of her.

After thinking for a while, she just let it go. Both of these Otherworldlies were too strange, and it was impossible to understand their thoughts and feelings

At the same time their work was done and they had finally obtained both pieces and were returning to the tribe... things were not going well for everyone.

For example, Ravian... who felt like he was trapped in the depths of hell and the devil was torturing him ...
