African Entrepreneurship Record

This is also East Africa’s modest contribution to world peace, but the side effect of easing European social tensions has not disappeared; instead, it has shifted to Africa.

Especially in the South African region, the large influx of population into East Africa has resulted in a dramatic rise in East Africa’s national power, leading to intense competition with other forces in South Africa.

Relying on its population advantage, East Africa is unbeatable, which is the fundamental cause behind the outbreak of this war. East Africa is too powerful, so other forces must unite to eliminate the ”heresy” of East Africa.

If East Africa is not stopped, in the future, all other countries on the African continent will have to live under East Africa’s dominance. The worst possible outcome is the emergence of an African version of the United States.

...

Dedradawa, at the northern end of East Africa.

British Somaliland is one of Dedradawa’s neighbors in East Africa, but the two sides have very little interaction.

It’s not due to antagonistic relations between the two countries, but because a vast desert area separates them. Only occasionally do Arab caravans with camels traverse this ”dangerous” region, maintaining the commercial trade routes established thousands of years ago.

However, Dedradawa is merely a transit station for them heading to the former Abysinnian Empire. Now under East African control, Dedradawa does not significantly impact them.

Since Dedradawa opened up, this trade route, which had been interrupted for several years, has regained its former glory.

It has transformed from a traditional trade stop into a bustling commercial market where Somaliland, East Africa, the Italian Red Sea colonies, and French Somaliland (Djibouti) converge to form a trading hub.

Although British Somaliland is now a British colony, the locals are not British but native Arabs, so commercial trade has never ceased. The poor relationship between Britain and East Africa cannot change the way of life of the locals.

Of course, until a few years ago, Dedradawa was still a military fortress. Arabs could only divert north of Dedradawa to places with harsher climates to sustain their trade routes. Those years, the Arab people of Somaliland harbored great resentment towards East Africa, second only to the British colonialists of Somaliland and the neighboring French.

Whether it be British Somaliland, or the northeastern Magirtin Sultanate (located in northern East Africa, the last traditional independent Somali kingdom east of British Somaliland), French Somaliland, or the Somali region of East Africa, they were originally inhabited by Somalis.

And to them, the British, French, and East Africans are all invaders. It’s just that the Somalis within East Africa have already ”disappeared,” while the main residents of the British and French colonies remain Somalis.

Fortunately, Pan-Somali nationalism has not emerged, otherwise many foreign Somali forces would now be using the banner of ”national revivalism” to become enemies of East Africa.

Currently, only the Magirtin Sultanate is shivering at the tip of the Horn of Africa. Due to its location, it will inevitably be colonized or annexed by other countries; it’s just a matter of time. Historically, Italy ended this nation’s existence, but now Italy is far less powerful, primarily focusing on its Red Sea colonies (Eritrea and parts of Ethiopia), making it incapable of annexing this true Horn of Africa nation.

Both Britain and East Africa have little interest in the Magirtin Sultanate. Alternatively, because they constrain each other, they cannot focus on dealing with the Magirtin Sultanate. The Sultanate benefits from adversity, but once the balance between East Africa and Britain in Africa is broken, the victor will eliminate this ”obstructive” country from the map.

Nonetheless, these conflicts and contradictions do not affect the trade activities of local Arabs. Somalis are a kind of Arab, as Arabia is a religious and cultural force. With a strong core, they can coexist in one country.

This is far more effective than ”white supremacy.” The Arab cultural sphere contains various races and ethnicities, and its inclusivity is actually stronger than Europe’s.

Of course, this doesn’t negate East Africa’s hostility towards the ”black” Arabs in the Somali region. Currently, most pure black natives have already been eliminated by East Africa.

Nations like the Abysinnian Empire and Magirtin Sultanate, with a high degree of racial mixing, are still barely acceptable to East Africa.

Today, the Arab caravan brought news to Dedradawa’s East African garrison: a fleet of British warships entered British Somaliland for rest.

Morse, the highest military official in Dedradawa, East Africa, believes this tip-off is worthy of attention.

”The British Royal Navy stationed in British Somaliland is very likely part of the Mediterranean Fleet, or possibly from India, but for us, it’s definitely not good news, as they’ve never come to Somaliland before.”

”British Somaliland is an important military base for maintaining Britain’s presence in the Red Sea region, guarding the Mand Strait. Geographically, I tend to believe they’re from the Mediterranean Fleet. If it were the British Royal Navy from India, they should head to Seychelles rather than detour to British Somaliland, assuming Britain intends to wage war against us,” added Morse’s adjutant.

”In any case, they’re unlikely coming for our Dedradawa city. Dedradawa serves no purpose for Britain unless they want to penetrate the East African heartland through land. But with Egypt as an option, there’s no possibility at all. Even without involving Egypt, these Lobster Soldiers would only attack from the northeastern coast of East Africa.”

”Since it was the navy that came, it likely has nothing to do with us. But this information should be promptly notified to the General Staff, as under current circumstances, any slight disturbance could relate to national defense and security issues.”

Ordinary people of East Africa may not know, but the East African military internally is already aware that a war might break out between East Africa and Britain.

The military on all four directions, southeast, northwest, and other borders, received the information. As a neighbor to British Somaliland, Dedradawa’s garrison naturally was no exception.

Hence, Colonel Morse said, ”No matter what purpose the British fleet has, it must not be taken lightly. Our people should be on alert, especially the patrol teams, carefully scouting along the desert fringe in the northwest direction. Any sudden situation must be reported promptly. From now on, all garrison troops in Dedradawa city should enter combat readiness state, and firearms and artillery must undergo inspection and maintenance to ensure combat posture at all times.”

”Simultaneously, send a report to the Northern Military District, informing them of the large-scale presence of the British navy in British Somaliland.”

The Northern Military District essentially encompasses most of the former Somali regions, parts of Kenya and Ethiopia, which are the Juba Province, Northern Province, Turkana Province, South Prussia Province, and Eastern Province of East Africa.

In actuality, based on current geographical locations and zones on the East African map, it would be more appropriate to call it the Northeast Military District. Corresponding to it is the Nile River Military District in northwest East Africa, also consisting of five provinces.

However, the Northern Military District is stronger, including East Africa’s newly formed two ”Dragoons” divisions, which are part of the Northern Military District’s military organization.

Meanwhile, Mogadishu is the northern homeport of the East African navy. Though the Somali region has a long coastline, only a few ports are usable, making Mogadishu the only choice due to its best conditions.
