Long Siye was a general of the Upper Bound, and the Emperor Immortal highly valued him. He was very wealthy due to his position; therefore, his kitchen was supposed to be full of all kinds of nutritious food.

Since Lu Wu’s owner was injured, she should be consuming a lot more supplements and nutritious food. Long Siye, as the friend and host of its master, should serve her at least a dozen nice and tasty meals. However, what was served every day were plain rice, veggies, and radish! There was no taste and no nutrition in these dishes. How could its owner swallow them down?

Both the mussel and Lu Wu were somewhat disappointed for their master. However, if they complained to their master, even if their master did not speak out, she would definitely feel sad; that was not good for her recovery. Therefore, mussel and Lu Wu had been holding back their emotions.

Their owner was frail for the past few days. She often fell asleep under the sun while trying to restore her energy. Long Siye came back to see her like this and wanted to take her back to the house. However, the mussel did not allow him to do so. It felt that Long Siye was very suspicious and had the intention to starve its master until she fainted so that he could take advantage of its beautiful master. The mussel would drag Gu Xijiu into its shell and then send her to the bed in the house. It would not let Long Siye get close to its master.

Both the mussel and Lu Wu were fierce. Long Siye always felt that they were hostile toward him. They always treated him like a thief. He naturally did not bother them. After all, these were just the favorite pets Gu Xijiu had, and she usually pampered them a lot. Therefore, he could only get close to Gu Xijiu when she was awake. He would often chat with her and also check on her injuries. She did improve, but the speed of recovery was very slow. She could barely get dressed on her own, and walking a small round in the yard made her sweat profusely.

Three days had passed, and Gu Xijiu could now carry herself to the garden. She spent more time awake than resting, and no longer fell asleep halfway when she talked.

It was now near to noon, so the servant sent another meal and placed it on the stone table in front of Gu Xijiu. The mussel was awake after it smelled the rice. It stretched its neck to the stone table and felt angry again. The dishes were green vegetables and radish with white rice again! This Overlord Long seemed to be feeding a rabbit!

Gu Xijiu woke up and slowly ate the meal; she then strolled a small circle along the bluestone path in the garden. The mussel and Lu Wu both watched her carefully. When they saw that she did not sweat after her usual lap, they felt somewhat relieved.

Gu Xijiu continued to lie on the rocking chair and slept again after her usual routine stroll. Sleeping could speed up her recovery and help her maintain her strength.

The mussel and Lu Wu looked at each other and exchanged their thoughts without speaking. They decided to be self-reliant and worked hard to solve the meal problem for their master. The mussel went to hunting while Lu Wu waited here to look after her.

Although the mussel was lazy, it was determined to be diligent this time to bring back excellent food for its owner; therefore, it acted quickly and ran.

It used to see a wild deer at Yaori Hill in the sixth level of heaven. It wanted to hunt one for its owner to help strengthen her body!

Recently, the Saha World was not in a peaceful state. Although the case of the missing children had been solved, the culprit was never found. The Emperor Immortal had sent a lot of soldiers and animals to go out and find the accused. However, he had not received any news.

There were also disappearances in other places, but this time it was fairy beasts that had disappeared. A number of fairy beasts were inexplicably missing.

It was essential to know that the beasts in this Saha World were very important. They were creatures that helped in battle and chauffeured the people. Occasionally they would be majestic pets as well, which served as a statement of status to their owner.
