Seas of blood filled their nightmares along with bouncing skulls and man-eating beasts. They witnessed the sea of blood was swallowing their beloved family members and friends. Before they died, the screams they let out frightened everyone until they had cold sweats.

It was perhaps normal to dream of this once. However, they were having it every day. Once they closed their eyes, they would see themselves running in the sea of blood and watching their beloved friends and family die one by one.

In the beginning, although everyone was suffered from the nightmares, no one wanted to voice it out. They thought that it would be a joke to let people know that they were frightened by such an ordeal.

Subconsciously everyone refused to sleep. Some of the residents of Tianju Hall even tried to do chants before slept or read spells. However, it was all useless. When it was one o’clock in the night, everyone would fall asleep automatically. After that, they would suffer from the nightmare that drove them crazy. Besides poor sleep, they also realized that their spiritual powers were getting weaker!

After everyone had a few sleepless nights before students with lower spiritual powers started to discuss the matter. They found that the same problem was plaguing everyone. Finally, someone realized that something was not right and began to report this issue to the school

Only then did Gu Canmo realize that he was not the only who had this nightmareThis case was extraordinary. The elders in Tianju Hall tried to analyze it for a few days, but no one got to know what happened.

There was speculation that some creatures caused it, but after they turned the entire Tianju Hall upside down, they were not able to find any monster.

During those days, everyone in Tianju Hall lived in fear. No one had any idea of what to do. Soon after, there was one student who went out to purchase household items. Due to some delays, he had to stay outside. During that night, he had a good sleep and did not have any nightmares.

After this student came back to Tianju Hall and told everyone about it, they started to plan to go out since they had suffered from the nightmare for too long

Oddly enough, for those who slept outside, as long as they did not bring any items that belonged to Tianju Hall, they could have a good sleep and did not have any nightmares.

Gu Canmo and the other elders had thought about all potential causes but still could not figure out the root cause. Everyone was exhausted due to lousy sleep they got, and none of them could stand it anymore. Thus Gu Canmo ordered everyone to move out of Tianju Hall

As the fake Celestial Master Zuo had always been looking for an opportunity to attack Tianju Hall, Gu Canmo moved everyone out very quietly so as not to alert anyone. They decided to stay in a small village under the mountain.

The people there were honest and simple. There was no road to lead to the world outside, so the people there had never gone out of the mountain. They did not even know who Celestial Master Zuo was so Gu Canmo did not worry that they would go and inform about their move

Of course, after all, Tianju Hall was a hundred-year heritage. Gu Canmo and the elders were very reluctant to leave the place. Occasionally, they would send students back to Tianju Hall to visit. Those students who came back to Tianju Hall were all okay except that they would have the nightmare if they stayed over

After a few trips like this, Gu Canmo was getting less diligent and only sent students back once every few weeks. This time, Yan Chen and the gang were sent back to visit Tianju Hall. After they finished visiting Tianju Hall, they planned to come to this small town to rest. However, they never expected that this town had been destroyed and that they encounter the horrible Nailed-Tooth beasts. They almost died in the attack.

After Yan Chen finished briefing them about the incident, Gu Xijiu looked at Di Fuyi and tried to guess. “Are dream eaters causing trouble?”
