Gu Xijiu stared at him for a few seconds, ”How long can you survive against the Six-eyes Spotted Killer Centipede?”

Si Chen blushed, ”Not more than two rounds or I will not be able to stand anymore.”

”I think you’d better run away…” Even if he stayed, he would only be a burden to her.

”I am not such an irresponsible person!” Si Chen lifted his head to look directly at Gu Xijiu.

Gu Xijiu felt like she wanted to kick him away!

She clenched her fists but did not say anything. In fact, she had nothing to say anymore.

She always felt that Si Chen was not straightforward. However, she had no mood to expose his hidden intentions under such circumstances.

If this was the case, she could just face it no matter what would happen next.

”Shua!” ”Shua!” There were two sounds heard in the background. The two Six-eyes Spotted Killer Centipede had appeared out of nowhere like a ghost. One of them was at the front, and another one was at the back.

They had blocked off the road for Gu Xijiu and Si Chen to prevent them from running away. Apparently, both of the Six-eyes Spotted Killer Centipedes were angry. Their six amber colored eyes turned flaming red, and it looked like there were six small lanterns on their heads.

When these 12 ’small lanterns’ were staring at both of them, the temperature in the air decreased rapidly. The leaves on the trees turned brown, and dead leaves were flying around. The two centipedes were very frightening!

”Little Xijiu, how confident are you?” Si Chen’s body was almost entirely attached to Gu Xijiu’s, and his arms were around her waist.

”If you keep hugging me like this, I have no confidence to fight with them.” Gu Xijiu answered without any facial expression.

Si Chen looked at her, ”You can pull me off.”

Gu Xijiu lifted her wrist and immediately want to push him away but was grabbed by Si Chen. His eyes were sparkling, ”If you pull me off you will owe me a hundred lives.”

Gu Xijiu had a headache when he said that.

”Little Xijiu, if you owe me so many lives, it is not enough even if you sell yourself to me.” Si Chen whispered beside Gu Xijiu’s ears, and the hot air almost blew inside her ears.

Gu Xijiu restrained herself from pushing him away and said, ”Have you heard a saying…”

”What is that?”

”You let me go first then only I will tell you.”

Si Chen was very obedient and let go of her. However he remained exceptionally close to her, ”You can say it now.”

”Since I owe you so much, it would be better if I do not repay at all.” After she spoke the last sentence, she immediately teleported 10 feet away and successfully escaped from this big burden.

Of course, after the move, it immediately summoned the attack from the Six-eyes Spotted Killer Centipedes. One of the Six-eyes Spotted Killer Centipedes spanned its body and blocked Gu Xijiu’s way. It wailed loudly and immediately issued a yellow-green toxic waterfall towards Gu Xijiu.

Gu Xijiu unwillingly fought back to see if she could find a weak point.

After all, she had fought with the Six-eyes Spotted Killer Centipede before, so she knew its general tactics. Therefore, she was well prepared this time.

One of them was busying fighting with Gu Xijiu while the other one was observing the match and ignored Si Chen who was standing on the big tree.

Gu Xijiu could not be distracted while fought with this Six-eyes Spotted Killer Centipede. The beasts that were surrounding them looked as if they were cheering for their leader. Gu Xijiu moved swiftly, and the way she handled her sword was so graceful and pleasing to watch.

Most of the beasts had spiritual power, so they had curiosity in them. Thus, some of the creatures that initially hid far away from the scene were drawing closer to them subconsciously.

Gu Xijiu was slowly retreating to one direction during the fight.

Of course, she retreated very cautiously. Thus, it was not noticeable by the beasts. Occasionally when the other monsters felt that they were too close to the scene, they would move slightly backward.
