Supreme Warrior in the City

Previously, Su Yang always believed that the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable were those chosen by the Heavenly Dao, who only appeared after integrating the Heavenly Dao Rules.

But now, Su Yang suddenly realizes that his understanding might be mistaken.

If the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable are not embodiments of the Heavenly Dao, then they have their own ambitions and schemes.

In that case, the time of their birth and how they came into being are very intriguing questions.

Su Yang even has a bold conjecture in his heart.

He had investigated many of the Strongest beings from previous World Trees, asking them about the Heavenly Dao Earth Principles.

Although they knew about the Heavenly Dao Earth Principles, they were unaware of the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet.

Su Yang is almost certain that before their World Tree, basically no one knew about the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet.

That is to say, the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet is something that was birthed only in their world.

This just doesn’t make sense.

By reasoning, since the Heavenly Dao exists, the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet should always have existed.

Yet, why did none of the previous people find the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, only the people from Su Yang’s world discovered it?

This makes Su Yang speculate that the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet is not inherently existing but artificially created.

Just like the current Earth Principle, to be honest, Su Yang doesn’t even know what the Earth Principle looks like.

His mother used her body to seal the Earth Principle, allowing it to have a physical form.

Su Yang placed the Earth Principle inside his body, now it can be carried wherever he goes, and he has gained the capability to use the Power of Earth.

If not for this, they would still probably not know what the Earth Principle truly looks like.

Even during the previous battle when the Earth Principle was shattered, it was only Qi’er who gathered the Earth Principle in preparation to revive a strong member of the Human Clan, and then it was scattered; not that the Earth Principle actually had a physical form.

Thus, the existence of the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet can indeed be understood.

Someone must have sealed the Heavenly Dao inside this stone tablet, resulting in the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet.

But, who did this?

The Guardian God definitely wouldn’t do such a thing!

The Guardian God is extremely respectful to the Heavenly Dao, unlike the First God and Heavenly Sect. Although he has ambitions, he is very devoted to the Heavenly Dao.

During the First God’s era, the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet appeared.

So, this Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet certainly wasn’t made by the Guardian God.

Now, consider the situation with the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable and their ambitions, the answer becomes apparent.

No doubt, the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable must have created the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet. They sealed the Heavenly Dao within that stone tablet and delivered it to the First God and others.

Then, using the rules of the Heavenly Dao, they brainwashed those Guardian Gods, making them submit to the Heavenly Dao and willingly serve it.

In essence, the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable were cultivating a batch of loyal followers who would work for them.

Moreover, they couldn’t use direct, forceful means to accomplish this, as humans have ambitions.

If those followers knew their true purpose, they might develop ambitions and turn against them, which would be troublesome.

Therefore, they could only create the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, using faith to bewilder these Guardian Gods, making them willingly do their bidding.

The so-called Heavenly Dao Rules displayed on the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet were actually fabricated by these Seven Great Heavenly Venerable to bewilder those Guardian Gods.

After that, these seven feign being chosen by the Heavenly Dao, integrating Heavenly Dao Rules, and such.

Then, they wrote some content on the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, revealed some divine powers, and fooled those Guardian Gods.

They truly believed that the Heavenly Dao would choose ordinary Guardian Gods, allowing them to integrate Heavenly Dao Rules, genuinely treating the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable as embodiments of the Heavenly Dao.

Little did they know, all of this was actually the ploy of the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable, and these Guardian Gods were completely deceived and turned around.

Although all of this is Su Yang’s own speculation, he vaguely feels his conjecture shouldn’t be mistaken.

Su Yang even suspects that the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable were not born within their World Tree.

The power of the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable wasn’t granted by the Heavenly Dao, but cultivated by themselves.

Though the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable are powerful, they are not so powerful as to be immortal.

As we see, the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable are still within the scope of the Strongest.

Only, their power is much stronger than ordinary Strongest beings.

Viewed from another angle, the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable can be understood as extremely powerful Strongest beings. They were not life born within this World Tree but powerful figures from a previous civilization.

They discovered the matter concerning the Source of Heaven and Earth and sought to control it and thus everything.

So, they entered the Land of Origin, evading the disappearance of their own World Tree. Later, upon realizing that relying solely on their own power may not suffice to control the Source of Heaven and Earth, they entered Su Yang’s world, created the Heavenly Dao Stone Tablet, bewildered the Guardian Gods, and gathered some people to work for them.

Thinking of this, Su Yang couldn’t help but be astonished.

If this really is the case, then the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable are truly not to be underestimated.

They care not for the life or death of other beings and will do anything to control the Source of Heaven and Earth.

If they truly grasped the Source of Heaven and Earth, wouldn’t everything in the world be under their control?

The ambitions of the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable are enormous, and they never regard life. In their eyes, life is like dust.

For their own purposes, they even carry out the Integration of Ten Thousand Realms, causing countless lives from the Three Thousand Great Worlds within Su Yang’s civilization to perish during the Fusion of Realms.

This is what they did, resorting to any means for their objectives.

If such individuals were to control everything, wouldn’t it spell disaster for all life?

Not only the existing lives but also those that would be born in the future would live under their shadow!

Su Yang is startled and realizes that, under no circumstances, can the plot of the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable come to fruition!

Otherwise, all life will always be under the control of the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable!

To stop the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable, the key lies in finding the Source of Heaven and Earth.

The Source of Heaven and Earth is definitely in the Land of Origin, but what exactly, that’s hard to say.

It seems, we’ll have to find out about the Source of Heaven and Earth from the Heavenly Sect.

Su Yang continues to probe: ”Heavenly Sect, you truly underestimate us humans.”

”Last time when we went to the Land of Origin, we already entered the Source of Heaven and Earth.”

”The Heaven Slayer and Buddha Venerable knew the way to enter the Source of Heaven and Earth, which is why they went to stop the Seven Great Heavenly Venerable.”

”Otherwise, do you think they went to send themselves to death?”
