Moonfire Bride: The One they all betrayed...till she awakened

Right now, she had no doubt in her mind.

Because there was no fucking way they would be this close to each other and Cassian wouldn’t feel a thing for her.

She looked at him intensely, trying to find that flash of desire she’d seen in his eyes when he’d looked down at her lips. It was hiding behind that stoic expression he usually put on his face around her.

She’d thought she had no sex appeal to his man, and that night at the brothel had happened simply because he was trying to punish her.

That hadn’t been the case at all.

”Then, who am I supposed to like?” He asked.

Her lips parted to say something, but only a sharp, heavy breath left instead. With him so close to her, she wasn’t sure she could think straight anymore.

And heavens help her because he had just leaned even closer, and now his breath was coursing down her skin, into it, and all the way down to her core and making her toes curl.

”I asked you a question, Selene. Who am I supposed to like?”

”Anybody else!” She finally replied. She’d imagined it would come out powerfully, not like a desperate whisper.

He slowly pulled back, but his hands were still around her neck, ”Stop it,” He said.

”Stop what?” She asked.

”Looking at me with those eyes,”

”What eyes?”

”Eyes that scream at me that your body wants to be fucked to oblivion, that kind,”

Her heart started to pound even faster, ”Don’t worry about that, you could simply ignore it. I told you, I would never admit that I want you again,”

”Good,”

Silence hung between them awkwardly, and then she glanced down at his hands that were still tightly wrapped around her neck. Suddenly, it didn’t feel like a pissed-off action anymore.

Felt more like he was holding something...that belonged to him.

”Is it?”

”Huh?” He snapped his eyes back at hers, ”What did you just say?”

”You heard me,” She tried to take a step forward, but he pushed her back against the tree, ”Is it good that I should stop wanting you?”

”Selene, you shouldn’t get ahead of yourself,”

She suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled it toward him. It made his press harder against the walls of her throat, squeezing it for a second before he stopped her, ”What the fuck are you doing?!”

”I’m helping you,”

”What are you talking about—”

”I’m helping you claim me better,”

His heart almost stopped right here, and she saw the reaction as a flicker in his expression. Not confusion. Not anger. Something that roared before he snatched it back up and shoved it where he usually hid it.

”You want me, don’t you?”

”Selene,” He warned, his voice sounding a little unstable.

”You do,” She continued, ”You always did. You were just very good at hiding it, and I was too hung up on Malachi to see it,”

”You’re not that special,” He said.

”Then why haven’t you let go of me yet?”

He almost looked at his hands, wondering the exact same thing.

Why?! Why was he still holding her like this?

Because it was the only form of contact he could secure with that that kept him at the very edge of not moving closer?

Because the distance between his extended hand and her body was the limit he was trying not to cross right now, or else he might never be able to come back?

”Whatever delusions you’ve made up to satisfy your needs,” He drawled, ”Hold them tight, sweetheart. I hope it helps you sleep at night,”

He finally withdrew his hand, turned around and started to walk away from her.

”I guess I’ll just have to visit the brothel again tonight,”

He took three more steps.

”Since I cannot possibly get the cock I want inside of me,”

He kept walking.

”Are you gonna come watch me again?”

He had almost disappeared into the trees now.

”Fuck,” She murmured to herself, lowering her eyes, ”I sound so desperate that I’m pitying myself,”

Then, she heard footsteps approaching her. Looking up, she didn’t expect to see him coming back to her and walking that fast. Moreover, Cassian never made any sound with his feet while moving.

So why...?

And why the hell did he look so angry?

”Stop me now, Selene,”

Her eyes widened. What did he mean by that?!

”Say NO and what is about to happen will not see the light of the day,”

”It won’t see the light of the day,” She replied, making him almost pause, ”But it would tremble in the darkness of the night,”

There was an ear-splitting growl from him, and then he had covered the distance between them.

She thought he would kiss her or something. No, he did something worse.

He pressed down on her shoulders till she was down on both knees, and with absolutely no mercy or warning, he shoved his cock so deep into her mouth that she might have burst a vein in her eye and cried blood right there.

She didn’t even remember him pulling down his pants!

He grabbed her hair tightly, gathering the strands in one hand as he guided himself in and out of her throat, as deep as he could possibly go, fucking her mouth like it was nothing more than his new toy.

And she took every wicked thrust with tears spilling down from her eyes, excitement so raw in her veins that she didn’t remember when her hands travelled between her legs.

Two of her fingers slipped in and out of her, revelling and shivering from her wet and slick she felt and how big and hard he was, drilling her mouth and gaining even more speed as time passed.

Cassian cursed under his breath, eyes hooded from pleasure as he looked down at her.

He’d probably imagined his scenario in his head a thousand times before.

And now, it was live before him.

Those full lips of hers wrapped around his, taking in every inch of him and shutting up for once while he pounded into her.

”You could go to the brothel and fuck all those male wolf whores,” he ground, listening to her gag and her throat clench around his hardness, ”But you’d never meet someone who’d treat that nasty mouth of yours like this and fuck it exactly as it’s meant to be fucked.”
