Evolution Online: My 10,000× Reward System Multiplies Everything

[Your game data has been updated.]

[You now have a thousand game worlds linked to Evolution Online.]

[Your profile status will be reset to the default of every game world you enter, making all your previous achievements unusable in another game world.]

Kaelen paused to carefully read through the notifications before he finally came to some kind of understanding.

Basically, his Evolution Online data had been updated to contain more game worlds, but each and every one of these worlds had its own laws and mechanics, making one’s strength in one game world useless in another.

He finally understood why his profile status had levels and experience points that didn’t seem to exist in Evolution Online. They were there for the other worlds whose method of growth was through leveling up instead of Evolution Points.

But the question remained: why did Evolution Online require Tier 9 and above to access these worlds? Did it mean the difficulty was significantly higher in these game worlds, or was there something deeper to it?

Lastly, these various game worlds that had become accessible reset a player’s growth to default. Were they the same worlds Kaelen had seen beyond Evolution Online?

And if so, did that mean if he were to simply fly over and descend into these worlds, he’d get to keep and use his skills and abilities without restrictions?

Is that why space was filled with world-devouring calamities—to prevent any player from discovering that route?

Kaelen scratched his chin as he fell into deep thought.

In the end, there was only one way to find out, and that was by getting strong enough to take the risk.

He decided to focus on his body and the black fruit’s effects. Aside from unlocking two evolutionary realms at once, Kaelen still couldn’t quite understand the future evolution restriction that had been permanently destroyed.

When he checked his evolution tree, he still needed Evolution Points to upgrade it, and even more to ascend to the next tier—or realm.

He subconsciously pinched the bridge of his nose when a thought flashed through his mind.

Permanently destroying every future evolution restriction could mean two things. Either he didn’t need Evolution Points to ascend anymore, which Kaelen had now confirmed was not the case, or every future evolution restriction had literally been permanently destroyed.

The notifications clearly stated Kaelen had transcended mortality, and the fruit stated it could permanently destroy future evolution restrictions.

That could only mean one thing...

There was only so far players could grow and evolve, and when they reached that realm, they were at the pinnacle of mortality and couldn’t evolve any further.

Maybe it was Tier 9 like the Mythic Dragon, or Tier 10 like the Divine Titan hailed as the strongest beast in existence. Whichever player reached that level would become stuck until they somehow found a way to transcend mortality, just as Kaelen had with the Primordial black fruit, giving him the ability to evolve limitlessly.

As long as there were enough Evolution Points to evolve, Kaelen could ascend infinitely.

For some reason, the 10,000× Reward System began to make sense at this stage. At first it felt like a cheat, but now Kaelen understood it was literally impossible to attain enough Evolution Points to evolve infinitely, as it only got harder and more costly with every evolution.

Kaelen might have over 60 billion Evolution Points in his account at the moment, but the more he evolved, the less these large numbers mattered.

To evolve to Tier 10, Kaelen needed no less than 10 billion Evolution Points. And Tier 11 would only cost more than that, making the numbers completely insignificant and leaving Kaelen with nothing if he didn’t find stronger enemies.

The 10,000× Reward System wasn’t just a cheat; it was a protocol that made infinite evolution possible.

The system wasn’t random at all, but was designed for Evolution Online, raising the same question for the nth time.

Was Evolution Online truly just a game?

The more he evolved, the more he discovered, and the more questions he had. And the earlier he began to take the game seriously, the sooner he’d be able to answer those questions for himself.

Kaelen returned to the forest and looked around at the surrounding Tier 3 to Tier 4 beasts roaming about, and he immediately lost interest in hunting there. He had long realized that the higher he evolved, the fewer Evolution Points weaker beasts gave him.

Just like the same tuft of grass that had given him his very first 2,000 Evolution Points, it gave him nothing now.

What he needed most at that moment was information on the best places to farm Evolution Points. Dungeons, castles, ruins, treasure tombs.

He couldn’t find all that by himself in-game, so Kaelen immediately left the game.

He stepped out of his pod and was just about to grab his phone when he noticed the high-end computer setup in a corner of the room and immediately went for it instead.

As soon as he booted up the computer, he went straight to the Evolution Online verified forums where players shared opinions, battle strategies, and sweet hunting spots—just what he needed.

He filtered the search bar to hunting spots alone, but immediately realized a vital problem. The majority of hunting spots were for Tier 4 to Tier 6 players. He didn’t give up and continued scrolling patiently when he found a post made a while ago that was quickly gaining traction.

The post was about an ancient ruin in the middle of nowhere that only appeared once a decade, nicknamed the City of Atlantis due to the way it rose from the depths of the water.

Technically, it hadn’t been a decade in-game since Evolution Online was released, but the anonymous poster claimed it was insider information. The entire roster of star players and top guilds in Evolution Online were expected to show up for this expedition.

Kaelen thought for a moment. The level of difficulty was unknown, as the poster didn’t mention it, but the fact that all the star players and top guilds would be showing up told him it might be on the level of the Tower of Belmont or even higher.

Most of the comments under the post called it ”cap” and fake news, as such information had never been released by the game developers or confirmed by any of the top players or guilds mentioned. But Kaelen thought it was worth checking out.

To confirm the credibility of the information, Kaelen knew just who to contact, someone who should know whether it was true or ”cap,” like everyone else thought.
