Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

It’s already possible to form two companies.

Now, it’s just waiting for Zhang Beixing to make the final decision on how many to keep.

”Minister, the situation is as follows. Based on the data, these over two hundred individuals are stronger, not weaker, compared to the first batch of team members, and their individual qualities are excellent.”

”Those with slightly lesser strength are younger, but they all have great talent...”

”Minister, we need you to confirm the final selection list as soon as possible. Otherwise, if there are too many people, we won’t have enough space for the third batch when recruiting.”

”...”

Zhang Beixing nodded.

Over two hundred team members are a bit too many, which doesn’t align with The Ninth Bureau’s initial intentions.

The Ninth Bureau was established to be an organization composed entirely of superhumans.

This type of organization inherently cannot have too many members, otherwise, resources will be insufficient.

If we recruit so many people, how will we allocate resources? It’s very challenging to determine.

”Like this, for now, recruit seventy members for the second batch. I’ll draft selection criteria later.”

”Minister, do you want to meet these people?”

Zhang Beixing grinned, ”Of course, why wouldn’t I?”

”I returned from Neon and didn’t rush to Eastern Europe just to meet these team members.”

...

...

Leng Bing.

This major, who had long come to Eastern Europe on a mission, was standing at one of the few remaining intact airports, waiting for a plane to land.

This airport had already been taken over by the organization he was currently working with.

Leng Bing didn’t hide anything from Simoski and Harley Yous. After telling them what happened in Neon,

Leng Bing explained to Simoski and Harley Yous that these Extraordinary Reservists were here to investigate the leak of Zhang Beixing’s cultivation technique.

This time, Zhang Beixing had sent them to scout ahead. Once they found clues, Zhang Beixing would personally come over.

If they didn’t explain things clearly to these Extraordinary Reservists,

now Zhang Beixing was using diplomatic means first. If they didn’t cooperate, it would mean a bloody massacre.

Initially, Simoski wasn’t too concerned about Leng Bing’s talk of Zhang Beixing coming and causing a bloodbath and even felt like laughing.

But after seeing firsthand Zhang Beixing catching an RPG round with his bare hands,

he couldn’t summon any words.

Their organization, although powerful, had RPGs as its strongest firepower!

While they had a few tanks, capturing Zhang Beixing’s movements with those cumbersome machines

was a dream not even worth explaining; it was impossible.

As for major weapons like missiles, they were even more out of reach for an organization like theirs!

Controlling this airport was thanks to Simoski’s connections with the official people, promising his organization would maintain and staff the airport.

Only then was shared usage granted for the airport; otherwise, why would anyone bother with them!

No matter how downtrodden Wu Country became, they weren’t an easy target for a small organization like Simoski’s.

A starved camel is still bigger than a horse.

Wu Country could casually fire some missiles, and Simoski couldn’t withstand it.

When Leng Bing came to pick up, Simoski didn’t send anyone to monitor him.

From his perspective, Leng Bing already pledged loyalty, making surveillance unnecessary. Where could Leng Bing find sanctuary in Great Xia after this?

At this moment, the plane slowly landed.

It was a transport aircraft, domestically manufactured in Great Xia, temporarily allocated by the military for Zhang Beixing’s team.

The Ninth Bureau, being an official department, possessed the capability for temporary aircraft allocation.

The plane doors opened gradually, unloading two large vehicles. One was an information vehicle, and the other a coach bus.

This was the temporary command center for The Ninth Bureau.

The Ninth Bureau’s operation this time not only involved Extraordinary Reservists but also included medical and logistical staff, bringing the team to nearly thirty members.

Due to the absence of Zhang Beixing and Xu Feng, only five official members of The Ninth Bureau were in Eastern Europe.

Huang Hai’s injuries hadn’t fully healed yet.

Even though the bullet was removed, the injuries were still severe.

His leg was bandaged, causing him to limp while walking.

Slightly better than others with gunshot wounds, his complexion remained normal and wasn’t pale like an ordinary person’s.

He was, after all, one of only two Grandmaster-level members of the Extraordinary Reservists. His composure and constitution were substantial.

Yin Mengwei and Yu Yao, after disembarking from the plane, surveyed the surroundings.

Once the drones were deployed by The Ninth Bureau’s staff, the team members quickly gained a general understanding of the area.

This airport was considered one of the best-looking places nearby.

The surrounding buildings, however, were utter ruins, barely acceptable to the eye.

Even though both armies had exercised restraint, the destruction caused by warfare was immense.

Not a single apartment building was without bullet holes.

Furthermore, many were missing parts, riddled with holes and damage.

Miles around, no intact trees were in sight.

The city conveyed an overwhelming sense of disintegration.

Deeply desolate.

”Sister Yu Yao, I feel this place is very dangerous. We have to stay here for a month. What if we get involved in a war? Aren’t airports always key targets?”

Yin Mengwei’s face fell, genuinely worried.

She had only seen wars on television before.

Witnessing one firsthand, it was somewhat terrifying. The bleakness was indescribable.

Yu Yao, though a few years older than Yin Mengwei, had never encountered such a scene, turning pale.

They had visited many domestic airports.

None had security like this one.

Almost everyone had an automatic rifle on their back.

If those people were to start shooting, wouldn’t they be doomed?

Just look at Huang Hai; his leg’s gunshot wound hadn’t healed yet!

Other than Zhang Beixing, who wouldn’t fear gunfire in The Ninth Bureau?

”It’s okay, if the Minister arranged for us to be here, it means there are already plans in place. Look, someone is coming to fetch us.”

Yu Yao’s observational skills were commendable, having been bullied before, making environmental awareness an ingrained instinct.

Leng Bing was walking over briskly.

He was unarmed and alone.

The two girls didn’t find anything unusual, as Leng Bing, with Asian features differing from those of Wu Country, was obviously a Great Xia person.

The other Extraordinary Reservist members were cautious.

Including the wounded Huang Hai.

Four of them stood up, positioning themselves in front of the two girls, protecting them.

They weren’t afraid of the battlefield environment, having come from either military or armed police backgrounds.

Though this scene was rare, they had some experience with it.

Their caution was high, despite lacking firearms, providing a slight feeling of insecurity.

”Stop! Go any further, and don’t blame us for being impolite.”

Seeing Leng Bing approach, Huang Hai had to intervene.

Stopping Leng Bing, they were only about five meters apart.

With any movement from Leng Bing,

Huang Hai was confident he could tackle, render him unable to reach for a gun instantly, despite his limp.

Huang Hai, having reached the Grandmaster level, was confident in his strength.

After halting, Leng Bing pulled out his phone, fiddled with it, and presented a digital document.
