Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 300: Chapter 156: The Grandmaster’s Fury, Premeditated Murder, A Major Internet Earthquake!_7

Li Shuo: ”...”

Zhang Beixing chuckled. ”I’m here to register at our police station.”

”Register?”

Hearing Zhang Beixing’s words, Li Shuo looked dumbfounded. ”Are you sure? I mean, why are you registering? Are you bored and looking for trouble?”

What on earth was this kid Zhang Beixing thinking?

Registering was no child’s play.

You should know, the national police’s big data is all publicly networked. Once someone is registered at any police station, if Zhang Beixing later goes to any province, the local police there will immediately receive a system notification. This prompts them to be on alert and pay close attention.

Then, police officers would secretly monitor the registered individual 24 hours a day to prevent them from engaging in any extreme activities.

Ultimately, it was a thankless task.

Most registered individuals weren’t exactly model citizens; they had either been imprisoned or had used illegal substances. Of course, there were rare exceptions. For instance, individuals like Zhang Beixing, who possessed extraordinary strength, or those who had done something noteworthy or worked overseas in security before returning to the country, might also be required by the police to register for safety reasons.

But such cases were rare. Most martial artists didn’t actually register. After all, I’m just practicing Martial Arts to keep fit and strengthen my body. I’m not doing anything wrong, so why register?

And someone like Zhang Beixing, who took the initiative to register, was even more unusual!

Naturally, Zhang Beixing understood this. He had already looked into it before coming and was prepared to accept the consequences. He nodded and said, ”I’ve thought it through. I’m sure. I want to register!”

”You’re doing this... but I need to know why you’re registering,” Li Shuo said, speechless.

”To register my Martial Arts Association information and, incidentally, to fight in a challenge match!”

Zhang Beixing said, then reached into his pocket and placed a freshly minted ’Northern River Martial Arts Association Honorary Vice-President’ red booklet on the table.

He hadn’t joined the Northern River Martial Arts Association and become an honorary vice-president on a mere whim. Rather, after being provoked by Black Ghost a couple of days earlier, he had been thinking about how to teach that scum a lesson and had accidentally stumbled upon something very interesting online. It stated that, according to the Great Xia Martial Arts Association’s regulations, all registered members of Martial Arts Associations, regardless of the competition they participated in, would be judged according to official competition rules! Moreover, this regulation was legally permitted and recorded. In other words, any event involving registered members of a Martial Arts Association would be elevated to a more formal and serious level. The objective, of course, was to regulate registered martial artists, prohibiting them from participating in illegal underground fights or engaging in violence-related work domestically. Then, Zhang Beixing discovered another interesting loophole... He wasn’t entirely sure what the regulations for other official competitions entailed, but one thing he did understand was that in formal combat sports events, as long as it wasn’t intentional, one wouldn’t be held legally liable for accidentally killing an opponent. This, too, was explicitly documented in law. That was why he had been so busy running around these past few days. He hadn’t even had time to address the online public opinion, all for the sake of obtaining these two statuses: one as a member of the Martial Arts Association, and the other as a registered individual.

Hearing his words, Li Shuo was stunned.

Then, thinking of the recent events online, he instantly understood what Zhang Beixing was up to.

Suddenly, Li Shuo’s gaze towards Zhang Beixing became peculiar.

This kid, he really has something up his sleeve!

Thinking this, Li Shuo simply said, ”Okay.” He no longer tried to persuade him and went to sift through numerous documents. Soon enough, he brought out a ’Registration Form’ and placed it in front of Zhang Beixing.

Zhang Beixing looked it over and, after confirming everything was correct, began filling in his personal information.

It didn’t take long to finish.

Li Shuo then took the form to Superintendent Bai to go through the procedures.

Superintendent Bai, in turn, took it to the higher-ranking chief.

It went up the chain, one level at a time.

Thanks to his ’Outstanding Citizen’ honorary title, he was given the green light, so the process went very quickly.

「About half an hour later」

The result came through.

Approved!

Li Shuo handed over the approval receipt.

Looking at the stamp printed on the paper, Zhang Beixing took a photo with his mobile phone and tucked it away carefully.

”Thanks. I’m off.”

He picked up his things, turned, and left without a backward glance.

Watching Zhang Beixing’s departing figure walking into the sunlight, Li Shuo lit a cigarette and remarked with considerable emotion, ”This kid is truly ruthless. He’s aiming to kill someone!”

Someone nearby chimed in approvingly, ”Indeed. But if the one he’s aiming to kill is Black Ghost, then my only comment is: Well done!”

Li Shuo turned to look at him and nodded. ”Coincidentally, I was thinking the exact same thing!”

”Hahaha, kindred spirits!”

As the two conversed, Zhang Beixing’s figure had already disappeared from the police station.

And just an hour later, Zhang Beixing’s Douyin account, which had been quiet for over half a month, suddenly published a new post!

He was already at the center of a storm of public opinion, so as soon as this post was published, it immediately caused a sensation online!

Because, in the title of this post, Zhang Beixing gave a clear response to the challenge issued by Chris:

[This Grandmaster was merely busy for a few days; how dare these insignificant whelps act so outrageously? You want a fight? Then let’s fight! Name the time and place; I, Zhang Beixing, will oblige!]

Seeing such a title, many netizens hadn’t even had time to react before they were captivated by the content of Zhang Beixing’s video!

It turned out the content was an image.

The image was clearly a photo taken with a mobile phone, showing an A4 paper document with a police station’s official stamp, placed on a table.

The document’s content was concise, yet it was utterly shocking to everyone!
