Danmachi: The Focalors Familia Starting from the Dungeon

If Cecil could forge Magic Swords, didn’t that mean... they could just gather raw materials in the Dungeon and have this genius blacksmith forge Magic Swords for the Focalors Familia?

He would just consider it their rent for staying here.

Aiden thought gleefully, even beginning to calculate in his mind how to reasonably ”exploit” this newly arrived little blacksmith. Like, how many Magic Swords a day? How many hours of rest per day is considered appropriate...?

”Huh?”

As if sensing an invisible malice radiating from a certain capitalist, Cecil, who had just picked up her ’trump card,’ shivered for no reason.

She looked around in confusion but failed to spot anything unusual. Ultimately, she could only shake her head, chalking it up to her imagination.

”This time, we will definitely shock you, Flamescion.”

Even having personally experienced the insurmountable disparity in their strength, Shion, who had just been rolling on the ground moments ago, now stood back up and made big boasts.

Clearly, the Magic Sword in her hands gave her plenty of confidence.

She was hyperventilating in excitement, as if accumulating power for the upcoming battle.

”Hehe, this time I’m definitely going to teach you a good lesson and avenge Shion and Iselina.”

Cecil was equally brimming with confidence. She carefully pulled back the white cloth wrapping the weapon, revealing its true form.

”Since that’s the case, let’s begin.”

Aiden shook his head, his face maintaining that breezy, nonchalant expression.

He flourished the wooden sword in his hand beautifully, the tip tracing a smooth arc in the air before pointing back down at the ground.

As his words fell, Cecil and the others seemed to receive a signal, simultaneously ripping away the white cloths covering the short, baton-like objects in their hands.

In a flash, four distinctly different magical fluctuations spread across the training ground.

They weren’t short batons, but four uniquely designed short swords.

The blades were about an arm’s length. Rather than being used for slashing, they looked more like ceremonial props.

Embedded into the crossguard of every single sword was an unpolished, raw Magic Stone, currently emitting a visible, faint glow.

”Hehe, you’d better be careful this time. We won’t take responsibility if you get hurt!”

Confidence bloomed once more on Cecil’s face. Gripping her heavy, long-handled war hammer backhanded with one hand and holding the Magic Sword tightly in the other, she let out a sharp cry and took the lead in charging at Aiden once more.

However, Aiden’s tactics didn’t change in the slightest.

His figure blurred, repeating his old trick. At a speed difficult for the naked eye to track, he bypassed Cecil, the primary attacker, and charged straight for Shion in the rear of the formation.

”I knew you’d pick on Shion! Take this!”

Seeing Aiden target her first again, Shion’s little heart trembled in fright, but this time, she didn’t panic.

Without a moment’s hesitation, she poured her Mind into the Magic Sword in her hand.

No chant required.

The Magic Sword in her hands instantly erupted with blinding light. A visible, powerful gale violently exploded outward with her at the epicenter.

This gale was so strong that crushed stones and dust on the ground were swept up, forming a murky gray curtain of debris.

Aiden, advancing at high speed, bore the brunt of it. He felt an incomparably massive, unstoppable gust of wind slam into him. His body was involuntarily blown away, floating weightlessly into the air.

A flash of surprise crossed Aiden’s mind.

He hadn’t expected the single-use Magic Swords forged by Cecil to be this powerful.

This wind pressure far exceeded the scope of what an ordinary adventurer could handle. Even he, who was about to level up to Level 4, was blown off balance when caught off guard.

This girl really is a genius when it comes to forging.

But he didn’t panic.

Suspended in mid-air with nothing to leverage, Aiden calmly adjusted his posture. Facing the raging gale below, he violently swung his sword downward.

A condensed slash tore through the roaring winds, forcibly carving out a path through the storm.

Aiden’s figure instantly broke free from the restraints of the strong winds, preparing to land back on the ground.

”We’re not done yet!”

Right at this moment, Iselina, who had been hovering on the flank the entire time, seized this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Having already sprinted to Aiden’s predicted landing spot, she raised the Magic Sword in her hand high into the air.

Azure lightning exploded along her blade. Countless tiny bolts of electricity darted wildly, emitting sharp, crackling sounds.

In the next second, a violent, cannon-like blast of lightning erupted from the tip of her sword, aimed directly at Aiden, who had just broken free in mid-air and was unable to dodge.

”Soul’s Tranquility.”

Facing this lightning blast capable of turning even a Level 2 adventurer into a charred husk, a calm smile curled at the corners of Aiden’s mouth.

Although, with his current physical durability, taking a lightning magic attack of this caliber head-on wouldn’t cause any real harm, it would be far too undignified.

Personally, he cared quite a bit about maintaining his handsome outward appearance.

Enchantment Magic: [Silentium Eden].

This magic, which nullified all incoming spells, came with the side effect of heavily suppressing his own magic as well.

But without a doubt, this magic was an absolute hard counter against mages and... Magic Swords.

The pillar of blue lightning struck Aiden dead-on, erupting in a blinding flash of light and a deafening roar.

Seeing this, irrepressible joy surfaced on Cecil and Shion’s faces.

We won.

However, their smiles lasted for less than a second.

In the next moment, as the lightning dissipated, that figure remained quietly suspended in his original position, completely unharmed. Not even a corner of his clothes was singed.

”Nice Magic Sword. But it doesn’t work on me.”

Aiden lightly brushed off the non-existent dust from his shoulders and slowly landed back on the ground.

His smile was incredibly sunny, but in the eyes of Cecil and the others, it was more wicked than a demon from the Abyss.

”Damn it!”

Cecil gritted her teeth fiercely. Unwilling to concede, she also triggered the Magic Sword in her hand.

A violent tornado swept out with her Magic Sword at the center. Sweeping up countless crushed stones and blades of grass along the way, it roared like a furious behemoth, charging straight at Aiden.

”Uranda!”

At the same time, Cecil shouted loudly.

Almost the instant her words fell, the black-haired girl, Uranda, who had been silent the entire time, made her move.

In the next second, a dark, viscous, and heart-palpitating aura crossed the distance of space, instantly enveloping Aiden.

”Expand, my love... Lunar Wolfsbane!”

Aiden was surprised to sense something invisible attempting to seep into his body and bind his soul. But the moment that power touched the invisible layer of [Silentium Eden] on his skin, it was as if it had slammed into an invisible wall, completely isolated on the outside.

Makes sense. Curses are fundamentally a type of magic, so they also fall within the immunity range of Silentium Eden, Aiden realized.

Even without [Silentium Eden], he still had the highest rank of the [Abnormal Resistance] development ability.

Uranda’s curse likely wouldn’t have worked on him anyway.

Thinking of this, Aiden almost wanted to laugh.

Against magic and curses, he had [Silentium Eden].

Against all other abnormal status conditions, he had absolute resistance thanks to the [Descender] skill.

He was practically devoid of weaknesses.

As long as his Level continued to rise steadily, he would sooner or later become an invincible monster that filled all his enemies with despair.
