Beastmaster of the Ages

The dense fog of stars was filled with strong soul power. All the bee-headed people seemed ethereal, but powerful. The final one was the myriadpath idol. When Tianming’s caelum entered it, he noticed that it had the dimmest planet of all of them. It looked to be black and gold in color, sporting the same color scheme as Myriadpath Valley, and its many continents and fortresses seemed to slightly differ from one another.

”Perhaps I need to properly study it to learn the true nature of this order.” Tianming felt rather impressed by its profundity. Just as he tried entering the planet, he felt waves across the planet.

Countless bee-headed people flew up in the sky and arranged themselves in a row of words that read ’Our home is in the Middlekin Star Ruins.’

”Middlekin Star Ruins?” Tianming recalled that the figure who appeared with the myriadpath idol back then had mentioned Midstar Myriadpath instead of Midsky Myriadpath. The ’midstar’ probably referred to the Middlekin Star Ruins.

”Does the Middlekin Star Ruins refer to some place in the Upper Star Ruin?” he wondered.

The words changed once more to read ’If you have a chance, take me back home’ before the bee-headed people returned to their posts.

”Take you back home? Isn’t Myriadpath Valley your home? Or is it just where your corpse happened to end up?” Tianming had no idea what was going on at all. ”Still, if I have a chance to go to the Upper Star Ruin, I’ll know what you mean.”

He didn’t overthink it since he was planning to go there anyway. He memorized the term ’Middlekin Star Ruins’ and called it a day. ”I wonder what kind of place it is.”

His caelum left the final idol. All nine of them still floated before him.

”In here with you.” He grabbed all nine figurines and put them in his spatial ring. When he didn’t see anything else in his surroundings, he left the forehead of the Source Progenitor, who still laid there in silence.

”It’s time to make the final preparations to go to the Xenoabyss!” All he needed to do was go to Jiguang. He wanted to hand the Blissful Union over to her so that she would be able to support him from the background.

She had been in the ship the entire time. When Tianming left the Myriadpath Sourcespring, the ship was floating up in the sky. Jiguang was alone in there and Tianming entered the ship before piloting it to the entrance of Myriadpath Valley, which was now the main gate of Tianmingopolis.

Jiguang was dressed in a snow-white dress, standing in a corner as she quietly looked at him with grace and gentle concern. In her eyes, Tianming shone infinitely bright, like an unparalleled conqueror whose might enveloped the boundless ocean of stars. ”Emperor, Jiguang is at your service.”

”Hahaha....” Tianming cut off the connection with his omnisentient threads. At the end of the day, he was still that very same brat. This woman, who felt so much like a warm home to him, could easily bedazzle him and make him never want to leave her ever again. She came onto him and held him tight, ’telling him stories’ as she listened to his plans.

”I’ll try to transfer the Blissful Union to you and let you pilot it,” Tianming said.

”Mmhm... Ah!” She nodded with some difficulty.

”When I leave, I need you to pilot the Blissful Union to the Yin-Yang World to refill it with yin-yang essence. Then, use the wormhole expressway to tunnel to Infinitum and infuse the Sun with yin-yang essence. My godfather, Li Wudi, will help you out.”

”Okay... mmm.... Yes!” She kept nodding.

”I’ll also fully leave the construction and management of my dynasty to you. House Suishen and House Qingchuan will support you. I also have some experienced personnel from Infinitum that’re waiting for you to transport them here. My master, Lin Xiaodao, is their leader. Make sure to give them resources like baleflame and other things too!”

”I know! They’re our... family... so they’ll definitely... mmm.. get more stuff... and grow stronger... so that you don’t have to... worry!” She shot him an odd look, wondering why he would bother reminding her about something so obvious.

”Hehe.... You aren’t that familiar with them yet, after all. Don’t worry, they’re all good folks. They really like you, especially my grandmother, Dongshen Yue. She was smiling nonstop after she saw you. Our children will definitely be very spoiled by her.”

”It’s a... shame that I haven’t....”

”What are you in a rush for? We just finished conquering Myriadpath Valley. You’ll rule from within while I rule from without. We have plenty of time ahead of us.”

”You’re right.” Her expression seemed to dim slightly.

”What is it?” Tianming asked.

She bit her lip, but didn’t say a word.

”Is it because of what Suishen Ranxing said?”

”Tianming, I’m older than you by too much. I’ll age really fast,” she said, worried.

Tianming gave her an encouraging pat and laughed. ”What’re you thinking about?”

”I’m being realistic. You’re surrounded by young girls who can accompany you for the long haul. Not to mention, our constitutions might not match each other’s. I’m worried that I won’t be able to leave you any offspring when my time comes....”

They had been trying for quite a while now, but she still showed no sign of conceiving.

”Nonsense! Why’re you so pessimistic? We’ve only been together for a few short years—we still have so much time ahead of us! Not to mention...” he earnestly peered into her eyes, ”Auntie, I swear that I’ll make you live forever. With me around, not only will you never die, you’ll also never age and look as magnificent as you’ve ever been!

”I still need you to help me with so many things, things I can’t entrust to other people. You’re the only one who can manage the two cores of my dynasty, Tianmingopolis and Infinitum, to make my home impenetrable to invaders!”

She stared at him and asked, ”Am I really that important?” Tianming’s sudden rise in power had caused her to lose quite a bit of confidence.

”Of course! Not to mention, you also have incredible public support because you’re truly kind and gentle!”

”Fine....” She nodded, seeming much more assured than before.

”Auntie, you need to be strong. My future will be incredibly dependent on you, got it? You’re my core pillar of support,” he said, deciding to progress her plot more quickly.

”Why... do you say that?” she struggled to ask.

”Two reasons! First, the Sun’s transformation will make me even stronger. It can even improve my Ninedragon Imperial Tomb! Second, you’ve seen my combat capabilities as the Galactic Emperor, right?”

”I... I have!”

”My experience in Infinitum proves that once omnisentient threads form, they can spread like wildfire. If it succeeded in one mundus, there’s a chance that the connections will eventually span the Million Mundi! Myriadpath Valley alone was enough to let me kill the invading overflower. How much stronger do you think I’ll be once my omnisentient threads spread across the entire Million Mundi? Who’d be able to invade the astralscape of order when that day comes?”
