Beastmaster of the Ages

”Li Fan brought Li Tianming from a place called Greenhaze. After three years of investigating him, House Huang has just recently found Greenhaze, but there’s no such genius by the name of Li Tianming! So Li Fan probably made up an identity for him. Why would a genius need a fake identity? It can only mean that he’s hiding some sort of secret about his origins. The first thing he did upon arriving at Myriadpath Valley is go head-to-head with House Huang. Why isn’t he afraid of implicating his relatives and homeland? Perhaps Greenhaze is merely a cover!”

Tianming hid in the Grand Myriadpath Ruins to guard against Lan Yun, and she couldn’t enter the ruins to capture him without a legitimate reason. On the surface, Tianming had Suishen Zhao and Suishen Yao as backers. Lan Yun hoped to avoid being targeted by the Three Exalted Houses; it would be almost impossible to catch Tianming within a month. Like House Huang, she had the same idea and turned to Tianming’s background, but she was able to deduce more.

”Li Fan disappeared after he was injured. Perhaps he’s hiding in Li Tianming’s original world! The question is, how can I find it?” She frowned in contemplation. ”Li Fan.... Wait, Taihe!” A cold glint flashed in her eyes.

Pulling out a transmission stone, she tried to connect to Mister Taihe, but received no response. ”He‘s one of mine but he isn’t responding. Has it been three or four years since he’s appeared?”

The timing was very coincidental.

“Taihe seems to have disappeared since Li Tianming appeared. It’s a pity that I didn’t keep his subsoul, otherwise I’d already know if he was dead or alive.” Mister Taihe was one of Lan Yun’s trusted aides. His job was to find talented young men throughout the various mundi and recommend them to Myriadpath Valley to compete in the Skyward Grandpath.

”That’s right!” Lan Yun suddenly sat up straight as a thought crossed her mind. ”Isn’t Li Fan the astralkiln that Mister Taihe prepared for that bitch Lin Yin? They used to be very close. And now that Taihe’s missing, Li Fan personally recommended someone?”

It was very strange!

”I have to go to Intrepidus to find Lin Yin.” Lan Yun’s eyes were gloomy. ”One month isn’t enough time, even if I use the Myriadpath Celestial Formation. I have no choice but to tell Senior Sister that Suishen Yao might’ve revealed the Sky Starvore Fiendart to Li Tianming. The kid’s hiding in the Grand Myriadpath Ruins and I already have a clue. Senior Sister should be able to hold on for a month or two, right?” Laughing coldly, she began to act at once.

The lower ruins.

Suishen Yao should’ve calmed down, right? Tianming thought after cultivating for over ten days.

According to Yin Chen, Lan Yun had headed to the Myriadpath Celestial Formation after leaving the Grandblue Palace in a hurry instead of waiting for him outside the ruins. Tianming felt a little uneasy. Her actions were out of the ordinary; there was something wrong. Why would she leave Myriadpath Valley instead of trying to catch him?

He tried to reach Suishen Yao through the transmission stone and soon received a response. However, she was unhappy. “Why the hell are you calling without a good reason? Don’t do it again. I gave you the transmission stone so it’s easier for me to reach you, got it?”

”Yes, I’ll remember that. Little Master, I have a question. What’s Fallengrace Peak?”

”Falengrace Peak?” Suishen Yao said, tilting her head to the side. ”I think that’s where a group of demonesses practice some kind of fiend art.”

”I see. Thank you, Little Master,” Tianming replied.

”Don’t use the transmission stone as you please. I’m very busy!” Glaring at him, Suishen Yao turned off her transmission stone.

Although the conversation was brief, Tianming had received the information that he wanted.

”A group of demonesses!” Sure enough, behind Lan Yun was a large organization that practiced the Sky Starvore Fiendart. His gaze darkened. ”She still has three hundred years, but she’s most likely going to offer me to someone with a higher status than her!”

Her promise didn’t count.

”She used seduction to tempt me to return. It’s obvious that whoever is behind her is anxious....” He had never expected this day to come so soon. If Yin Chen hadn’t monitored Lan Yun’s whereabouts and learned of Fallengrace Peak, Tianming would still be kept in the dark. In fact, he would be there right now.

”Myriadpath Valley is full of dangers.” A cold light flashed in his eyes. At the moment, Lan Yun, his biggest backer, was more dangerous than House Huang.

”Just deal with her the same way you did with Reverend Daolie and stay away from her. With Fifth and the Suishen siblings around, she won’t openly mess with you,” Ying Huo said.

“Yes....” Although Tianming nodded, he was still worried. Where did Lan Yun go after leaving Myriadpath Valley? ”Could she have thought of Taihe and Demoness Yin?” His heart pounded.

Intrepidus stareye relay.

Amidst a burst of dazzling starlight, an ice queen dressed in blue descended, and for a moment, the chill emanating from her body swept across the area. The enormous sixth-level nova source world in front of her was Intrepidia, the home of Demoness Yin. Despite the vastness of the infinitum-class world, Reverend Lan Yun was so powerful she was unrivaled in the mundus.

”Civil war? Isn’t Intrepidus dominated by the godshades?” Lan Yun noticed something was wrong as soon as she arrived. Her eyes pierced through the sky and earth. Astralships above the star were attacking the surface and thunderous explosions shook the entire world. The struggle for power would inevitably lead to suffering.

Furrowing her brow, Lan Yun stopped a nearby astralship that was shaped like a gear. It belonged to the godshades.

”It’s someone from Myriadapth Valley!” The godshades were about to attack the person who suddenly appeared in front of them when Lan Yun flashed her gold myriadpath ring.

Lan Yun, who was known for her beauty in Myriadpath Valley, far surpassed Demoness Yin in terms of appearance, figure, and temperament. Most importantly, it wasn’t her first visit to Intrepidus. She had imparted her knowledge to Lin Yin only because they’d hit it off. In the hearts of the godshades, Lan Yun was the majestic queen of Myriadpath Valley.

”Reverend Lan Yun!”

The frustrated godshades suddenly saw a sliver of hope.

”Take me to see Lin Yin!” Lan Yun coldly said.

A group of godshades emerged from the ship. Among them was a woman who looked similar to Demoness Yin. Kneeling before Lan Yun, she said, ”Something must’ve happened to my sister. She has yet to return and her subsoul shattered.”

”Is that so?” It was good news for Lan Yun! It’s good that something’s happened. It’s probably related to Li Tianming... What a stroke of luck, she thought.

Lin Yin, a younger sister under her command, was considered an external force cultivated by Fallengrace Peak. Lan Yun had hundreds of younger sisters like her under her command. If she hadn’t been reminded of Taihe, she wouldn’t have bothered visiting Intrepidus, nor would she have the time.

”What’s your name?” Lan Yun asked. She seemed to recall the young woman.

”I’m Lin Yin’s sister, Lin Yue. Right now, I lead the godshades,” the woman quickly replied..

”What happened to your sister? Spare no details,” said Lan Yun.

”Yes!” Taking a deep breath, Lin Yue said, ”About three years ago, my sister was in contact with Mister Taihe of Myriadpath Valley. Mister Taihe took my sister, four foundationeers, and the top hundred cultivators of our clan to a place known as the Infinitum Mundus.”

”The Infinitum Mundus?” A dangerous glint flashed in Lan Yun’s eyes and a cold smile appeared on her lips. ”What was their purpose?”

”There was an internal war in the Infinitum Mundus, which isn’t too far from Intrepidus. My sister revealed that there were two infinitum-class astrlaships that were ours for the taking. There’s also a famous young man who possesses many treasures and secrets and is said to rival those far ahead of him in cultivation,” Lin Yue explained. Although she was Demoness Yin’s sister, she was merely a tenth-level cosmic cartographer and had yet to enter the inner circle. However, she knew plenty.

”What’s the name of that young man!” Lan Yun said, gritting her teeth.

”I think he’s called... Lin Tianming?”

”Li Tianming!” Lan Yun roared and the godshades trembled.

”Yes, it’s Li Tianming.” Lin Yue nodded, terrified of the distinguished figure from Myriadpath Valley.

”Haha!”

To Lin Yue’s surprise, Lan Yun actually laughed out loud, ignoring how she looked. There was something twisted about her laughter.

”Little beast, let’s see how you escape from my hands now! The Infinitum Mundus, right? Is that your nest? I’ll write my name backward if you don’t die!” Lan Yun laughed so hard her body shook. The ferocity in her eyes was frightening.

”Reverend, the subsouls of my sister and all those that left have shattered. So far, none of them have returned. They must’ve perished in the Infinitum Mundus. News has spread and the other two foundationeers on Intrepidia are going to annihilate the godshades. I beg you to save us!”

Lin Yue and her clansmen all kowtowed to Lan Yun.
