Shut Up, Malevolent Dragon! I Don’t Want to Have Any More Children With You

Vol. 5 Chapter 108

“What kind of technique… is that?”

Claudia stared in awe at the magnificent sight. Even as someone deeply versed in dragon magic, she had never seen such a coordinated skill before.

In the current magical system, combination techniques were a particularly special category of magic.

The principle behind them wasn’t as simple as 1+1=2, but rather an amplification that elevated the abilities of both users to an unprecedented level.

Such a powerful technique, however, came with extremely demanding requirements.

Both users needed to possess identical or highly similar magic attributes, an unparalleled level of mutual understanding, and years of practice — and even then, success was not guaranteed.

Even Melkvey sisters, Mel and Wanwei, who had grown up together, spent centuries mastering Galaxy Crimson Impact and Floral Array, their two combination skills.

Thus, Claudia’s shock didn’t just stem from the unlikely combination of a dragon and an elf, but also from the extraordinary level of trust and harmony between these two.

“In just eight short years… they’ve cultivated a bond and trust that can unleash a technique of this scale?” Claudia murmured in disbelief.

“They mentioned this technique to me some time ago, but no one believed them then. Even I didn’t think… that in just a few years, they’d actually manage to pull it off.”

Isha watched her sister and brother-in-law’s figures in the distance and spoke slowly.

Odin, less sensitive when it came to matters of emotions and trust, focused instead on the technical aspect.

“Prince Leon’s Xu Mi Shadow is a high-density lightning magic aggregate. By all logic, anyone entering it would be electrocuted by the thunder magic, yet the Silver Dragon Queen remains unaffected. Why is that?”

“Because… of the Heart-Guarding Dragon Scale,” Isha said.

Odin blinked, still somewhat confused. “The Heart-Guarding Dragon Scale? What does that mean?”

“For… complicated reasons, Rosvisser’s Heart-Guarding Dragon Scale was transplanted onto my brother-in-law,” Isha explained.

“Over eight years, the dragon scale has completely fused with him, becoming part of his body. However, fundamentally, the scale still belongs to Rosvisser and carries centuries of her magical energy.”

“In essence, the magic Leon uses can be fully endured and adapted to by Rosvisser,” she continued.

“That’s why they can execute this combination technique.”

Pausing for a moment, Isha added,

“You could also say… they are the only two in this world capable of using this skill.”

Eight years ago, in the Silver Dragon Dungeon, that Heart-Guarding Dragon Scale had been the catalyst for everything that followed.

Even today, it remained the key to the couple’s unity in battle.

Fate, though often an intangible and fleeting concept, seemed strikingly tangible at this moment.

The Dragon Kings marveled at how magic had been developed to such an extent and at the bond of love that transcended races between Leon and Rosvisser.

“Now’s the time! Let’s finish this in one go!”

The figure clad in electric armor charged forward alongside the Silver Dragon, roaring toward Ultimate Fear.

Each step reverberated with massive waves of magical energy, exploding continuously across the battlefield.

Leon’s magic and Rosvisser’s power blended perfectly, the flowing energy almost tangible in the air — a combination of his strength and hers.

Boom!

The clash between two massive forces created such a shockwave that even the surrounding space seemed to ripple.

The violent energy swept across the battlefield, obliterating everything within dozens of kilometers.

This was a life-or-death struggle. Every attack had to be executed with their full strength.

The glow from the tower illuminated the battlefield as Ultimate Fear’s energy continued to accumulate. Gradually, the tide of battle began to shift back in its favor under the relentless onslaught of the Silver Dragon couple.
“At this rate… we might actually win…”

Morgan murmured, a spark of hope in his voice.

“Hmph. Just a flashy death throe,”

Shadow remained composed, his hands folded behind his back. He gazed at Ultimate Fear, now slowly retreating under the couple’s pressure, and said coldly,

“The battle ends here. It’s time to get serious.”

As if hearing a whisper from the underworld, Ultimate Fear, forced into the clearing by Leon and Rosvisser’s assault, suddenly halted.

Its enormous maw opened wide, gathering a dark purple flame.

Even from a great distance, the Dragon Kings could feel the sheer density of its energy.

“Its power… it feels like it’s jumped several levels in just seconds. The prince was right — the longer this fight goes, the stronger it becomes,”

Morgan remarked gravely.

Isha frowned deeply, her dragon wings unfurling as she prepared to shift into her dragon form.

“If we let Ultimate Fear unleash that attack, I don’t know if the Silver Dragon couple can endure it. We need to assist them now.”

Odin issued the order,

“Everyone, no matter how exhausted you are, contribute everything you’ve got! This isn’t over yet!”

On the battlefield, Leon and Rosvisser were also acutely aware of the danger posed by Ultimate Fear’s next attack.

“It intends to destroy the entire Sky City… That kind of blast will even affect Shadow,” Rosvisser said grimly.

Leon raised an eyebrow, trying to decipher the monster’s intent.

Meanwhile, Rosvisser narrowed her eyes at the charging energy and, after a brief thought, she realized his plan.

“Rosvisser, do you remember that ‘staring water game’ we used to play?” Leon suddenly asked.

The Silver Dragon Queen blinked, stunned. That silly game actually had a name?

Two people would hold water in their mouths and stare into each other’s eyes until one laughed and sprayed water all over the other’s face. But why bring it up now?

“Yes, I remember. The time I lost, you turned into a dragon and I tried to hold your mouth shut, only for the water to spray out of your nose,” Rosvisser recalled, smirking.

Leon grinned mischievously. “And you said your head was filled with the ‘taste of water’ after that.”

Rosvisser’s eyes lit up with understanding.

“Alright, it’s risky, but it might work. Let’s do it quickly.”

“Got it.”

With a determined shout, Leon’s dragon-scaled figure charged directly toward Ultimate Fear.

This unexpected move shocked everyone — even the Dragon Kings and Shadow, who frowned in disbelief.

“Are they insane…? Ultimate Fear will reduce them to ashes!” Shadow muttered coldly.

The massive dragon lunged forward, with Leon standing on Rosvisser’s head, gathering violent lightning magic in his hands.

Because Xu Mi Shadow was a pure energy construct of thunder elements combined with the Silver Dragon’s speed, their Dragon Rider coordination was unnervingly swift.

Despite its size, Ultimate Fear couldn’t evade the couple’s relentless pursuit while still charging its attack.

Shadow’s expression darkened as he shouted,

“Stop charging and attack them directly!”
But it was too late. The chaotic magic within Ultimate Fear surged violently, the sheer power nearly destabilizing the creature as it prepared to unleash its full-force attack.

Shadow sneered,

“Charging straight at it? Are they asking to die?”

Claudia, however, began to understand their intention.

She turned her gaze to Shadow and said calmly,

“Whether a Dragon King can survive this attack, I don’t know. But you’ve already said it yourself — for this attack to work, it needs enough negative energy. So… what happens when—”

[The continuation of this high-stakes confrontation awaits…]

“Will it still be that powerful if it hasn’t fully charged?”

Claudia calmly questioned Shadow, raising an eyebrow.

“Even if the energy isn’t fully accumulated, it’s more than enough to blow those two into pieces,” Shadow retorted with conviction.

“Oh? Is that so?” Claudia smirked slightly. “If it’s that powerful, then… what happens if it backfires?”

Shadow froze for a moment, stunned. “Backfire…?”

After a brief pause, realization struck him like a lightning bolt.

His head snapped upward as he shouted for Ultimate Fear to change its strategy. But… it was already too late.

The enormous dragon roared, leaping high into the air and pouncing directly onto Ultimate Fear’s upper body. The massive flame orb it had been charging hovered mere meters away from the Dragon Rider.

“ROARRR!!”

Ultimate Fear bellowed furiously and attempted to fire its half-charged Final Flame at the Dragon Rider.

But Leon was faster.

A blinding light erupted from the Dragon Rider’s mouth, forcibly slamming the violet flame orb back into its origin.

Super S-Class Lightning Magic: Dragon Rider Reformed – Thunder Wolf Overrun!

The thunder-charged Thunder Wolf Overrun, strengthened to its limits, was unstoppable. While Ultimate Fear could normally reflect energy attacks like a cursed cannon, Leon’s assault had fully charged. Its power had not diminished in the slightest, while Ultimate Fear’s unstable flame orb wavered in energy.

BOOM!!!

The violet flames exploded inside Ultimate Fear’s gaping maw. Black smoke spewed from its mouth and eye sockets as the monstrous creature wailed in agony. Its enormous form trembled, then collapsed onto its knees, clearly devastated by the blow.

“Now’s the chance, Prince!”

Leon seized the moment. He leaped from the Dragon Rider’s forehead, hands gripping the hilt of the Thundercloud Blade, channeling a torrent of magic into its core. In an instant, a gigantic lightning sword materialized around the blade, its brilliance illuminating the battlefield.

Simultaneously, the scar on Leon’s cheek began to glow with pulsating blue light, its brightness intensifying… until it suddenly dispersed like stardust. The scar morphed into the shape of a lightning bolt.

“Go for it, brother-in-law! Slice that giant beast in half!!”

“Dad… You’ve never lied to us. Not once. This time is no different.”

“Captain! Charge! Show them who the strongest on Samael Continent truly is!”

“The prophesied Child of Thunder shall descend in humanity’s darkest hour, standing undefeated to deliver salvation.”

At that moment, Morgan gazed at the figure diving toward the beast, his voice filled with reverence.

“You were right, Prince. It was never destiny that chose you… it was you who chose destiny.”

Leon carried the hope and faith of countless people. He could not afford to lose.

The gigantic lightning blade swung down, aimed squarely at the monster’s throat. Thunder roared as arcs of electricity rippled across the battlefield.

Ultimate Fear let out a pained, guttural groan. But that sound was quickly swallowed by the deafening crash of thunder.

“Shadow!” Leon roared. “Look closely… This is what a human is capable of!”

The massive lightning sword cleaved cleanly through the monster’s neck.

“Captain! Sister-in-law! We won!”

Rebecca shouted, waving energetically as she ran toward them from afar. Leon turned around, exhaustion etched on his face, but he still managed a triumphant smile.

“Yeah… We won.”

Rosvisser stood beside him, their hands intertwined, fingers tightly locked.

“Wow, so the Prince really is the Child of Thunder. What a pity,” Morgan sighed dramatically.

Odin shot him a glance. “What are you pitying?”

“That it wasn’t me.”

“… Fortunately, it wasn’t you.”

“Dad! Mom!”

Noa, who had regained consciousness, wriggled free from Uncle Morgan’s arms and sprinted toward her parents. Leon knelt down, arms outstretched, and scooped her up, his face lighting up with sheer joy.

“Is your dad cool or what?” Leon asked proudly, pressing his forehead to hers as he grinned like the luckiest man alive.

“Super cool! Dad’s the coolest!” Noa giggled, earning an affectionate kiss on her cheek.

But then… a hoarse voice interrupted their celebration.

“What are you doing? Celebrating already?”

The crowd turned toward the sound.

Leon was standing beside Ultimate Fear’s corpse, his hand brushing lightly over its scales.

“Shadow,” Leon called out, voice steady. “Your oversized pet is dead. Do you think you alone can take on all of us?”

Shadow snorted coldly. “Killing an immature ‘infant’ gave you the illusion of victory, did it?”

The words sent a chill through everyone.

“Immature… infant?”

“That’s right. What you killed was nothing more than a mindless beast. It possessed endless power, yes, but lacked the wisdom to wield it. It even blew up its own head—utterly laughable.”

As Shadow spoke, he reached into the blackened scales and retrieved a dragon scale—but not a black one. This scale gleamed with a milky white light, its crystalline luster dazzling everyone.

Rosvisser, Isha, Constantine, and Noa instantly recognized it.

“The Primordial Power,” Constantine muttered gravely. “He turned it into a dragon scale… the power he stole from me.”

“Exactly.” Shadow turned slowly, holding the Primordial Dragon Scale against his chest. “Did you think the revival plan was simply about causing you to lose control in the academy? You were gravely mistaken.”

He spread his arms wide, his expression serene as the violet energy from Ultimate Fear’s severed head began flowing into him. In an instant, an overwhelming surge of power radiated from Shadow, eclipsing everything else.

“The Darkfire Plan has proven my theory… A being that possesses both the Chaos Power and the Primordial Power gains… Tiamat’s strength.”

“T-Tiamat?!”

Odin clenched his fists, realization dawning on him. His voice trembled with fury.

“Your goal was never Ultimate Fear. It was… stealing Tiamat’s power!”

“Hahaha… That’s right, Odin.”

Shadow’s body slowly rose into the air, his form beginning to shift. Draconic features emerged one by one, transforming him. Behind him, an enormous dragon’s shadow loomed, its presence oppressive and godlike.

The divine power of the ancient era—a force that shaped the heavens and earth—had returned.

From above, Shadow gazed down upon Leon and the others as though he were a deity looking down on mere mortals.

“I am the second Dragon God… the only existence in the present world.”
