The five elemental spirits were completely subdued by the rogue tricks of the fire elemental spirit. They no longer sought trouble for Shen Yanxiao, but new problems emerged.

”Fire, come back with us.” The wood elemental spirit gently looked at fire elemental spirit.

The elemental spirits never liked to come into contact with other races; they only stayed with their own kind. This time, they would not have set foot in the dwarven city if it were not for the fire elemental spirit.

”I don’t want to...” The fire elemental spirit shook its head like a rattle. It didn’t understand why it had to be separated from Shen Yanxiao just because it had a group of new companions.

They were all its companions. Wouldn’t it be good to be together?

The fire elemental spirit freed itself from the entanglement of other elemental spirits. Like a headstrong child, it ran to Shen Yanxiao’s side.

”I don’t want to be separated from Little Xiao.” Little Xiao always scratched its body; she also gave it a bath and wiped it clean. It would definitely not leave her side.

”You can’t live with other races.” The water elemental spirit sighed helplessly. It was the oldest of these elemental spirits, and most of the other elemental spirit would listen to it.

”Why?” The fire elemental spirit remained stubborn.

”Elemental spirits are children of nature. We are not like them, we can’t live together.” The water elemental spirit was also very persistent.

”I don’t want! I don’t want! I don’t want!”

Little Fire was about to start playing rogue again, but this time the water elemental spirit did not let it continue to be willful.

”Fire, you must listen to me. The various races in the world always like to wage war. If you live with them, you will have feelings for them and will unwittingly be involved in the war. But with our power, we are not allowed to interfere in all of this. This is the rule of us elemental spirits.” The water elemental spirit looked at the fire elemental spirit carefully.

”The existence of elemental spirits is in itself a miracle of nature. We belong to nature. Every race in the world has its own destiny. Us elemental spirits must not intervene and dare to change the original course of their lives.”

Elemental spirits were so powerful that no matter what race it was, as long as it could attract one or two elemental spirits to join the battle, it could turn the situation around. Once this happened, the simple elemental spirits would be used by other races as well. Then they were likely to be drawn into hostile positions by different camps, which was absolutely not allowed to happen. Elemental spirits were indeed powerful, but in the midst of thousands of wars, no one could guarantee that they would not die.

The death of any elemental spirit was a great loss to the elemental spirits, so they would never join the battle of any non-elemental spirits.

These were the laws of nature, and they must follow it.

”Little Xiao won’t fight anyone else. I’m not going to change anything.” The fire elemental spirit still didn’t want to leave Shen Yanxiao at all.

Meanwhile, Shen Yanxiao was silent. The words of the water elemental spirit made her think deeply. Each of the elemental spirits were so very precious that their lives were more precious than those of the gods. Once they died, it was equivalent to millions of years of painstaking efforts coming to nought. And the birth of this kind of life required too many opportunities and miracles.

Shen Yanxiao understood where the elemental spirits were coming from. She knew that there was nothing wrong with their rules of not participating in the wars of the various races in order to ensure the balance of the world. After all, when too powerful forces participated in the war, the impact was not as simple as one side winning over another.
