The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady

Zhanye frowned slightly and looked at Naken, who had a mocking face. Then he turned his eyes away and did not respond.

Naken sneered and spoke again, “Here I thought your mentor had some abilities, to actually make such a bet with Mentor Luoqiu. Now it seems that she’s just big talk. After I beat you pieces of trash to the ground, I must see your trash mentor roll away from this Deathfire Academy.”

After Naken uttered these words, Zhanye, who always chose to stay silent, suddenly raised his head and his gaze, sharp as a knife, directly swept over the arrogant Naken.

“Naken, I will beat you. I will make you kneel on the ground and apologize to Mentor Yan Di!” He could tolerate the insult to himself, but he would never allow anyone to insult his mentor!

“Ha? Did I hear you wrong? You, a loser, want to beat me? Zhanye, your courage is getting stronger and stronger.” There was a grim smile on Naken’s face. He turned to his companions and said, “You are not allowed to touch this fellow. Leave him all to me. I’ll tear down his bones myself.”

“That’s exactly what I wanted to say.” Zhanye straightened his back and looked back at Naken without fear.

They stood here not only to fight for themselves, but also for their mentors.

A pile of waste like them, abandoned by other mentors, had already fallen to the bottom of the cliff of despair. It was Shen Yanxiao who had pulled them out of the mud, bit by bit.

A scholar would die for his bosom friend!

Even if they died in this battle, they would not bring disgrace to the reputation of their mentor!

“Very well. Zhanye, you just gave me one more reason to make you drop dead.” Naken gritted his teeth and looked at Zhanye while clenching his fists.

The battle had not yet officially started, but the friction between the two sides was already on fire. At any time, there was the possibility of the fight breaking out.

A seemingly friendly competition was about to turn into a real life-and-death battle.

For faith, but also for honor!

They would go all out, risking their lives in this match!

One minute before the gong rang, the students on Zhanye’s side suddenly took action. They all stepped back ten steps and reached the edge of the ring.

Their action surprised the spectators in the arena.

“Are they not going to fight?” The students who were watching were a little dumbfounded. Seeing the atmosphere between both sides a moment ago, they could tell how they wished to pinch the other side immediately. So why did Zhanye and his team walk back together in the twinkle of an eye?

This rhythm was not right ah!

However, what they saw next completely overturned their conjecture.

Forty-seven students at the edge of the ring quietly took off the sandbags tied to their limbs. Heavy sandbags were thrown on the ground, raising clouds of dust.

“What is that?” The students in the stands opened their eyes wider; they completely did not know what those things were. They could only watch Zhanye and others take down the heavy sandbags one by one, move their hands and feet freely, and walk towards the center of the ring again.

“They had been carrying sandbags?” The sharp-eyed students discovered what those mysterious things were.

In a trance, they finally understood why Zhanye’s group seemed to have such slow movements when they entered the arena. It wasn’t that they were not strong enough, but that each of them had at least four sandbags tied to their bodies!

Just looking at the size of the sandbags, the students in the stands could estimate their weight.
