Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 681 - 641: Curing Maria

After escaping from the restaurant, Alex and Maria returned to their suite.

ʼʼHahaha! That was fun.ʼʼ Alex commented after laughing.

ʼʼFufufu! You are right. Iʼm happy that many people have witnessed your proposal. Although I donʼt know them, their presence made me happy.ʼʼ Maria said before lying beside Alex on the king-size bed.

ʼʼIʼm happy to have encountered you. If only I could show you and others to my grandma. Iʼm sure she would be proud of her grandson. Well, I will find a solution to go back in the future. Iʼll make sure of it.ʼʼ Alex declared, and Maria caressed his face gently while whispering.

ʼʼOf course, we will help you as well. We all miss home.ʼʼ

ʼʼYou are we will go back after completing why we got reincarnated for.ʼʼ Alexʼs words made Maria recall that indeed they reincarnated for something.

ʼʼYou are right, but letʼs not talk about that for now. When we were at the restaurant, you said that you had finally figured out a solution to my problem. Can you tell me what you got?”

Alex didnʼt immediately answer Mariaʼs question. He used her legs as a pillow; looking into her eyes, he finally began explaining with a question.

ʼʼDo you remember that thereʼs a curse put on Mysthia?”

ʼʼI do. A powerful being beat all the Gods and put a curse on Mysthia afterward.ʼʼ

ʼʼYes, it was a dragon,ʼʼ Alex added.

ʼʼI see, so we will be fighting against a dragon in the final fight?ʼʼ

Alex nodded, and Maria grinned.

ʼʼHow interesting!” She said.

ʼʼBut I donʼt understand why you brought this up.ʼʼ

ʼʼWell, one of those Gods is still alive and cursed.ʼʼ

ʼʼWhat?” Maria exclaimed because Alexʼs words shocked her, but she immediately calmed down and started thinking; soon, she narrowed down the list to the Elven goddess; only her disappeared while the others died in the war.

ʼʼWho is she?” Maria immediately asked as she was sure that her man knew the answer.

ʼʼIt is Elseria, the guild master of the Adventurer guild.ʼʼ Alex calmly replied.

And to his surprise Maria didnʼt react as he thought she would, she simply nodded.

ʼʼIt makes sense. She is too mysterious, and many people are afraid of her. My master respects her a lot, almost as if she was her mentor. If thereʼs someone she was afraid of, itʼs only that woman, no wonder.ʼʼ

ʼʼI see. Okay, the reason why I started this subject was to tell you how the solution Iʼm about to use was born.ʼʼ

Maria nodded and kept listening.

ʼʼItʼs because I thought of a method of erasing Elseriaʼs curse. You know that my silver gun can cancel any magic, donʼt you?”

To this question, she nodded.

ʼʼSo, I thought maybe that unique ability could erase Elseriaʼs curse as curses are undoubtedly magic.ʼʼ

Maria was pleasantly surprised that Alex could think of such a method after learning about Elseriaʼs curse.

ʼʼI understand how you want to help me now. If Iʼm not wrong, you didnʼt speak of this solution to Elseria yet. Or you have already done that?”

ʼʼNo, I havenʼt told her anything yet. What Iʼm about to do is more like an experiment. Sorry that you will have to become my guinea pig, but Iʼm confident in curing you. So, the final decision is up to you.ʼʼ Alex told Maria while waiting patiently for her answer.

However, it didnʼt take even a second before she gave her answer. It was an immediate answer.

ʼʼSure, I will gladly become your guinea pig because I believe in you. You will not harm me as I know how much you love me, so letʼs begin.ʼʼ Maria declared before making herself comfortable.

Seeing how determined she was, any doubt he had left vanished, Alex chuckled before abruptly kissing Maria. Her body stiffened for a moment before gradually relaxing.

ʼʼThank you.ʼʼ Itʼs all she said, and Alex smiled in response. As she understood him, the same was applied to him, despite putting on a strong front she was a bit scared something Alex noticed and to help her relax, he kissed her, and it worked like a charm.

ʼʼYou donʼt need to do anything; just stay still and relax your body. It will be over soon.ʼʼ Alex told Maria not to do anything, and she nodded.

Meanwhile, Alex asked for Silveriaʼs help as she was the most vital part of this treatment. If she messed up, then the worse could happen.

ʼSil, please help me. I hope you can make your bullet as harmless as possible; it just needs to erase that curse; no, if possible, I wish to convert it into energy that she might you. Can you do that?ʼ

〖I can, but I want to go on a date as a reward.〗

Silveriaʼs condition surprised Alex; he wondered what had gotten into her but still accepted her condition.

ʼOkay, deal.ʼ

〖Good, Iʼm going to eat ice cream so much my belly will hurt. Fufufu! Iʼm looking forward to our date.〗

Alex, who was worried, felt like an idiot after hearing what Silveria wanted to do during their date.

ʼOkay, letʼs begin.ʼ Alex said with Silveria nodding.

ʼʼGolden Hour Five Seconds Time!”

Alex immediately activated his time ability freezing Maria; like this, she would not feel anything, aiming the silver gun toward her chest together with Silveria he fired.

ʼʼErase!”

Bang!

The silver bullet penetrated Mariaʼs chest going directly toward the curse; for a moment, Alex could have sworn that the curse that should have been unable to move struggled as thought sensing death approaching, but before it could succeed, the silver bullet exploded to form a net that covered the curse.

Boom!

There was an explosion inside Mariaʼs body; fortunately, Silveria had anticipated this; a part of the silver net got converted into a wall protecting Mariaʼs glass heart while the remaining net pushed the explosion out of Mariaʼs body.

Alex was sent flying by this explosion, and when he stood up, Maria was there floating in the air like a goddess.
