Who Let Him Play Yugioh? (Re-Upload)

”Both Fluff Tokens and Rose Tokens are destroyed at the same time, so the World Tree now has six Flower Counters.”

Kira gestured at the World Tree.

”Then, I activate the World Tree’s effect. By removing three Flower Counters, I can Special Summon any Plant-type monster from my Graveyard!

I remove three Flower Counters to Special Summon ’Dandylion’ from my Graveyard!”

[World Tree, Flower Counters: 6 → 3]

[Dandylion, ATK 300]

”Black Garden’s effect activates: your field gains a ’Rose Token’,” Kira smiled. ”Then, due to King Tiger Wanghu’s effect, both Dandylion and the Rose Token are destroyed.

Two more Plants destroyed—World Tree gains two more Flower Counters.”

[World Tree, Flower Counters: 3 → 5]

”Dandylion’s effect: when sent to the Graveyard, it Special Summons two new Fluff Tokens,” Kira continued, ”then Black Garden Special Summons another Rose Token on your field.”

If Trueman still couldn’t figure out what was going on at this point, he’d have to be unbelievably dense.

His expression changed abruptly, and he muttered, ”This is… this is…”

”Looks like you finally noticed,” Kira narrowed his eyes. ”King Tiger Wanghu’s effect destroys all three new Tokens. World Tree gains two more Counters.”

[World Tree, Flower Counters: 5 → 7]

”World Tree’s effect: remove three Counters to Special Summon a Plant from the Graveyard,” Kira said, ”I remove three to revive Dandylion once again!”

[World Tree, Flower Counters: 9 → 6]

Each time three Counters are removed to revive Dandylion, Dandylion and the corresponding Rose Token are destroyed, gaining two new Counters. Dandylion’s effect leaves two Fluff Tokens, Black Garden summons a Rose Token, King Tiger Wanghu destroys all Tokens for two more Counters.

From the four new Counters, remove three, and once again revive Dandylion from the Graveyard—repeating the cycle.

Each loop: consume three Counters, gain four; net gain of one Flower Counter per cycle.

Kira said, ”After repeating this cycle countless times, the World Tree’s Counters become—”

[World Tree, Flower Counters: ∞]

Infinite Flower Counters!

He actually set up an infinite loop…

Trueman already sensed disaster looming, but forced himself to remain calm, even sneering, ”Hah, you go through all that trouble to get infinite Counters—so what?”

”Yes, so what? Let me think…” Kira smiled faintly.

”Did you really think the World Tree’s only effect is to revive Plants by removing Counters?”

Trueman: ”!”

”The World Tree’s other effect.” Kira explained, ”By removing two Counters, you can destroy any card on the field. This effect isn’t limited to once per turn—as long as you have enough Counters, you can use it as many times as you want.”

Trueman: ”!!!”

NANI!?

Now that guy has infinite Counters—doesn’t that mean—

”I remove four Counters,” Kira said, ”to destroy both your Primineral Kongreat and your last set card in the back row.”

The World Tree shot out two golden rays, like sharp arrows. The mighty King Kong and Trueman’s last set card were both pierced through and blown to pieces.

Trueman’s face twitched.

Not just two cards—under infinite Counters, even five or ten cards would be pulverized in an instant.

But that wasn’t all.

”I remove two more Counters to destroy my own ’King Tiger Wanghu’.”

The bridge burnt after crossing the river—King Tiger Wanghu had served its purpose and now exited with honor.

”Next, I remove three Counters to revive a Plant monster from my Graveyard. I Special Summon ’Dandylion’.”

[Dandylion, ATK 300]

It looked small, harmless, cute—but this inconspicuous little guy was the very engine behind this overwhelming infinite combo. Trueman could only glare at it, but he had no idea what further horrors Kira was preparing for him.

Kira beamed.

”Now, I’ll activate the World Tree’s last effect, which I haven’t used yet.” Kira said, ”Remove one Flower Counter: until the end of this turn, a face-up Plant monster on the field gains 400 ATK and DEF.”

Trueman’s breath caught.

One Flower Counter—a 400 point increase.

And now, the World Tree has…

Trueman lost his composure, his eyes wide under his sunglasses as he stared at that towering tree before Kira, filled with terror.

Could it be, that little Dandylion—

”Correct. I remove infinite Flower Counters from the World Tree.”

Kira smiled, pointing at the unremarkable Dandylion on his field.

”Each Counter gives Dandylion 400 extra ATK.

So after removing infinite Counters, Dandylion’s ATK becomes—”

[Dandylion, ATK 300 → ATK ∞]

The tiny, unassuming Dandylion instantly swelled to monstrous size! Once a mere mascot, it now towered like a savage beast, casting a godlike, infinite shadow.

The little Dandylion let out a mighty roar, standing tall and proud, exuding infinite presence.

Today, it was no longer just Dandylion.

Please call it—

—Dandylion God!

Under the godly force of Dandylion’s infinite power, Trueman’s face was twisted by the wind pressure, his words distorted as he cursed.

He’s doing this on purpose—this bastard is absolutely doing this on purpose!

He had plenty of big Plants in his Graveyard, but Kira insisted on reviving the little Dandylion—he was determined to give Dandylion the final blow.

This was humiliation! Pure, naked humiliation!

”Dandylion.”

Kira’s command was casual, but carried authority.

”Direct attack.”

Dandylion proudly accepted its order, charging for what might have been its first ever attack.

Dandylion’s attack animation was so rare, it might compare to Kuriboh’s—most duelists would never see it in their lifetime.

The fatal charge sent Trueman flying, leaving a jet-black trail as he soared into the air, still cursing.

”DAAANDYLION!”

[Trueman, LP4000 → LP0]
