Rebirth of the Nephilim

“You seem distracted.”

“A little,” Jay admitted as she folded her arms and leaned against the side of the Behemoth. “Got a lot of things going on at the same time.”

“Everything alright with Kerr?” Aila asked.

She was focused on comparing the list of supplies to the actual crates stacked inside of the original flying wagon, so she wasn’t facing Jay. Still, Jadis knew her redheaded magister well enough to recognize the concern in her cool tone. As much as Aila and Kerr bickered and fought, they had developed a strong bond. Naturally, the mage was just as worried about the archer as Jadis was.

“She’s fine,” Jay reassured the busy redhead. “She’s not talking yet, but her mood has definitely improved.”

“Good,” Aila nodded as she checked another item off her list. “How are things with Maeve? Any issues?”

Jay smirked at the question. Not because she thought it strange that Aila would ask after the Fetch, but because of the timing. Things had been going well between Dys and Maeve for the past few hours. However, they had just hit a snag, albeit a humorous one, and it was only Jadis’ refracted mind that kept her other selves from all cracking up.

“It’s a simple question! Do you like my ass or don’t you!?”

“I don’t understand why it matters?” Meli replied to the shapeshifter’s strangled outcry. “Is this some kind of test?”

“It’s not a test!” Maeve shouted, though she was obviously trying to control her temper and volume. “Just—just tell me! What do you think? Is it a nice ass, or no?”

“Calm down, Maeve,” Dys tried to soothe the Fetch. “Meli’s opinion isn’t what matters, is it? It’s what you think about the way your new self looks.”

Maeve’s custom-made self, the one that was supposed to represent her and no one else, was almost done. There were still some details that needed to be addressed. Small things, like eyebrows and fingernails and other little pieces of that nature. Maeve was otherwise complete, though, in so much that she had a fully functional body that could walk among the streets with her head held high.

The outward appearance was basically complete. The inner self, however… that was still a work in progress.

“I know that; we’ve been talking about that all day. I’m not deaf or dumb or obstinate or any of those other emotions that are pulling at me even as we speak. That said, how do I know I look normal enough that I’m not going to cause people to point and stare and freak out or throw rocks at me? You like the way I look, but you’re a fucking weirdo.”

Maeve turned to the confused-looking Dryad, a pleading expression on her brand-new face.

“Look, I’m wearing the leather pants. See? I like my ass like this; I made it look like this because I think it’s great! But what do you think? Is my ass too big? Or small? Or anything weird?”

A dawning light of comprehension washed over Meli’s face. Nodding her head, she motioned towards Maeve with her clawed hands.

“I understand. No, the shape of your rear is not an issue. It’s actually very pleasing. It reminds of Jadis’ rear, which is also very attractive. I would like to touch Jadis’ ass because I think it would feel nice. I’m not interested in touching your ass because I am somewhat uncomfortable with your intensity, but I imagine your rear would feel very nice to touch as well, based on how it looks.”

“Thank you,” Maeve sighed with clear relief.

The shapeshifter didn’t seem bothered at all by Meli’s aversion towards her and instead accepted the response as easily as the compliment. Likely that would have been all the reassurance that Maeve would have needed. Except, Meli didn’t end her comments there.

“The rest of you, however, is mildly, ah… the word is disconcerting, I think. Mainly, your skin is orange and see through, which is pretty but also confusing to look at, especially since it makes it hard to discern your facial features. I am also confused. Do you not have a brain? Or is it transparent like your skin seems to be right now?”

There was a silence between the three that lingered just long enough that Meli’s expression grew concerned.

“Did I say something wrong?”

“That’s it, I’m done,” Maeve cried out as she began taking off both shirt and pants at the same time. “I’m done! I’m going to go change into a dog and find a nice bone to chew on for however long it takes for me to die because I’m done!”

“Stop, stop, stop,” Dys did her best to keep the Fetch from shedding her clothes as she tugged them back into place. “Don’t even start to go down that path. You’re beautiful, you know that. You asked Meli for her honest opinion and she gave it to you. That doesn’t mean you can just fall apart like this, right? This is you. Keep centered!”

“Oh, this is what Fetch look like?” Meli said as Dys and Maeve struggled against each other. “I am sorry, Maeve. I did not realize. I thought this was some other form you were testing. I may have been too harsh.”

“It’s not your fault,” Maeve replied to Meli’s concern in a surprisingly calm voice, though she continued to fight Dys on taking her borrowed clothes off. “Look, this is all just an experiment. It’s not working, I should just forget it. No one is going to like this anyway and—”

“You should give your skin some texture.”

The Dryad’s comment stopped both Maeve and Dys in their tracks. Both turned to look at Meli, who stared back with an open gaze.

“Texture,” she repeated while tapping a finger against her wooden arm. “It will make your features easier to see. I have known Golems with similar issues because of the materials they were made from. They had to alter themselves to be less confusing to the eye. Try a texture, like stripes. Or swirls.”

“See? Stripes or swirls,” Dys said as she set Maeve back slightly and looked her in the eyes. “It’s just a suggestion, one that you don’t even need to follow if you don’t want to. But Meli is just trying to help. You’re doing great.”

“Stripes, huh?” Meli mumbled as she let Dys rearrange her clothes to be straight. “I can do stripes.”

With a rippling shimmer of orange gelatine, Maeve’s body took on a series light green stripes that ran all over her, from top to bottom. They were fairly thin and just irregular enough to appear natural, like tiger stripes, rather than painted on. Dys found the new look to be interesting, as the splash of color added flare to Maeve’s appearance.

“Oh, you look like a fungus fig now.”

“Oh gods, you’re right,” Maeve wailed. “Swirls instead! And no green! Or should I try dots? Fuck!”

“Do you know what a fungus fig is?”

Aila looked up from the crate she was rifling through, one eyebrow raised in curiosity.

“I have no idea,” she answered. “Why?”

“Just missing some context in another conversation I’m having,” Jay said as she stared absently off into the sky. “Oh, hey, Sabina says it’s a type of mushroom that kind of looks like a stripped fig. Releases a cloud of spores when you touch it, very smelly apparently. It even makes… unpleasant sounds, especially when wet.”

“That must be something native to this area,” Aila chuckled as she resumed her count. “I’ve never heard of anything like that around Red Tree. Our mushrooms are generally quiet and inoffensive.”

Also laughing at the thought of feculent fungal noises, Jay turned her gaze to sweep around the wagon. There were a few soldiers in the vicinity, but none were nearby. The area was otherwise devoid of activity as most of the army was occupied with cleaning up the streets in the first tier of the city, or repairing the outer wall. The two of them were, for all intents and purposes, alone.

“So, I was thinking,” Jay spoke at a volume that was just low enough to indicate her words were for Aila alone. “Before you leave on your trip tomorrow. I’d like to perform the Exhibitionistic Accession ritual on you, since that’s something that won’t fade while you’re away.”

Aila paused her counting of inventory, her blue eyes meeting Jay’s violet ones from over her shoulder.

“That is the one that requires a public setting, isn’t it.”

“Yup,” she confirmed with a smile tugging at her lips. “It is. I know we were talking about doing it later, at Lyssandria’s temple, but now that I’ve taken the spell and know how it works, I feel like we have a golden opportunity to complete it right now.”

Aila gave Jay a narrow-eyed look that was more cute than intimidating. Fully turning around, she folded her arms across her chest before replying in a stern tone.

“You’re having sex with someone else right now, aren’t you.”

“You can tell?” Jay asked in surprise.

“No,” Aila answered with just as much surprise. “That was a joke! Are you really having sex right now?”

“With Sorcha and Kerr, yeah,” Jay admitted. “Mostly Sorcha. Kerr’s helping.”

“Of course,” the redhead shook her head, her expression turning bemused. “She must really be okay then.”

“Yeah, she is,” Jay nodded, knowing exactly who Aila was referring to without further specificity. “Anyway, this isn’t about me and them right now. This is me and you. And I haven’t heard an answer to my question yet.”

Aila’s face blushed bright red under Jay’s direct attention. Shifting her gaze to look around the Behemoth, she shook her head for a second time.

“I’m not going to have sex with you where these strangers might see us. Kerr might be into that, but I don’t want to put on a show.”

“Of course not,” Jay agreed. “And that’s not what I’m suggesting. You know I’d never want to do anything that makes you uncomfortable. Besides, we need to remain unnoticed for the ritual to work, anyway. However, if you’re willing to go along with me, we can get you your boost to Vitality and have some fun. Just you and me. How about it?”

While Aila’s blush had spread all the way down her neck to her chest, Jay could see the twinkle of excitement in her freckled lover’s blue eyes. While the redhead enjoyed putting on the mask of a dignified mage, Jadis knew that under that mask lived a passionate woman who enjoyed the wilder side of Jadis’ insane sex life just as much as her more extroverted lovers. There was a reason they got along so well, and it wasn’t just because opposites attract.

“What did you have in mind?”

While the Leviathan’s perch on the top of the city’s central tower was an issue for the locals, Magistrate Lodovico had agreed that there was no sense in moving the airship when it would be departing with its passengers and cargo the next day. The Behemoth, however, couldn’t stay in the middle of the street intersection where Tegwyn had parked the converted wagon, either. Jadis and her team had plans to use the vehicle during the coming days of power leveling. In the meantime, they were going to move the Behemoth to a location on the southern side of the first tier of the city, where it would be more out of the way when not in use. Before parking the airship in the designated zone, though, they were going to use it to transport the large number of materials they had gathered from Vinea’s butchered carcass. Which ultimately meant that Aila needed to fly the ship over to where Syd and the others were.

Not that the flight needed to be hasty.

“Gods, they’re going to see,” Aila whispered as she shimmied out of her enticingly tight leather pants. “Are they looking?”

“No one’s looking,” Jay replied while keeping her eyes on the small number of soldiers who were gathered together about a hundred feet away. “Even if they were, they aren’t tall enough to see anything.”

“They better not be,” Aila mumbled as she finished pulling her pants all the way down to her ankles.

Jay and Aila were sitting next to each other on the bench-style pilot’s seat of the Behemoth. They were a little cramped, since Jay took up so much space and Aila wasn’t exactly a small woman either, but considering the size of the wagon-turned-airship, they had more than enough room to maneuver. While there were windows on the sides of the cockpit, they didn’t extend to the floor, so everything above the waist was concealed. More than that, really, since the Behemoth was, well a behemoth, and the front seat sat much higher above the ground than any ordinary wagon. All of which was to say, Aila was able to wiggle out of her pants while sitting without exposing herself to the world at large.

“No underwear?” Jay commented with a raised eyebrow. “How risqué.”

“Yes, well, knowing you, I had a feeling something might happen at some point today.”

“Had a feeling? Or were you hoping?”

Aila scowled at Jay’s grin but did nothing to deny the claim. Instead, she turned her attention towards the airship controls.

“I’ll get us into the air before we proceed with this perverse ritual of yours.”

“Ah-ah,” Jay tutted while putting a hand over Aila’s. “Probably better we get ourselves comfortable before we take to the sky. Don’t you think?”

“I think I’m crazy for always going along with your insanity,” Aila grumbled, though her hands reached for the laces of Jay’s pants with more than necessary speed.

“Crazy in love, you mean,” Jay rejoined her statement with a goofy grin. “The feeling’s mutual.”

With Aila’s help, Jay’s massive member was quickly exposed to the air. She was already hard, her cock throbbing with anticipation. While Jadis was understandably worked up since she was currently engaged in lewd activities with two of her other lovers, that wasn’t really the reason her Jay self was so excited. Jadis’ partitioned mind had been strengthened to the point that having sex with one of her bodies no longer caused dangerous distractions with her other selves. No sensation leakage was bleeding through. What made Jay so eager was the fact that she was about to have sex with Aila.

Jadis would never be able to get enough of her redheaded lover. She felt that way about all of her mates, really. Still, this was an opportunity to have her beautiful Aila all to herself. The ritual requirements were just an excuse. Even if Jadis didn’t have a spell to cast, she would still have found a way to convince Aila to join her in a bit of lewd fun. Truly, for her girls, Jadis was insatiable.

Lifting Aila up, Jay swiftly positioned her so that her already slick pussy lips were pressing against the tip of her leaking cockhead. While Jay was ordinarily a fan of extensive foreplay, the risky nature of their partially exposed location meant they couldn’t spend too much time without increasing the chances of being caught. With Aila’s hand guiding her, Jay began to firmly pull her lover down.

“Fuck, how do you always feel so good,” Jay cursed under her breath as she felt Aila’s core envelop her cock.

“Nnh,” was Aila’s inarticulate reply.

While they were trying not to linger, Jay still kept a slow pace as she pulled her lover down her shaft in one long motion. Her size was a lot to adjust to, even with her Anatomical Adaptation skill helping out. She didn’t want to overwhelm Aila.

When the magister had sheathed Jay’s rod by about half way, a shadow passed over them that caused them both to flinch. Abruptly, while Jay was still looking around to see where the shadow had come from, Aila slammed her ass down, taking the Nephilim’s great length in a single instant.

Jay nearly cried out at the sudden change of circumstances, but she bit the inside of her mouth and kept her voice under control. Aila, meanwhile, had gone completely still, and was breathing in deep, ragged breaths.

“It—it’s just a flag,” Jay said after clearing her throat.

A small column of soldiers were marching by the wagon, easily more than forty feet away. The man in the lead had an imperial standard raised, which was what had cast a shadow over the cockpit. None of the soldiers even looked their way, as they were moving with clear purpose in formation.

“Let’s… get into the sky…” Aila managed to say between deep breaths.

With shaky hands, the mage powered the airship controls and used careful movements to guide the Behemoth into the sky. Jay kept her hands on Aila’s waist, simply enjoying the feeling of being deep within her lover’s molten core. With every small motion, Aila’s inner walls would twitch and squeeze, sending delightful shivers down Jay’s cock and straight up her spine. They weren’t even moving and somehow, she felt over-sensitized, like she had just orgasmed and was almost too sensitive from the overload.

Jadis had to imagine it had something to do with the risk of being caught. Exhibitionism had never been one of her kinks, but at that moment, she was starting to see the appeal.

“Not too high,” Jay murmured to the mage sitting in her lap. “We just need to clear the roofs.”

“Right…” Aila mumbled back, her tone showing her clear distraction. “I, uh… which way?”

Moving her left hand over Aila’s, Jay guided her in the direction of the break in the wall where her Syd self was waiting.

“Nice and easy,” Jay said as her free hand caressed the small yet obvious bulge in her lover’s belly that showed just how well stuffed she was. “There’s no rush. Take your time.”

“How long—ah, how long, do we have to, mm, do this ritual? To complete?”

“No set length,” Jay sighed happily as she felt Aila’s hips begin to grind against her in a familiar motion. “Just three orgasms total. Between the two of us. Oh, that’s nice.”

The whole ritual could be over in minutes, making it potentially the shortest ritual Jadis had access to. Time wasn’t the difficult factor. The difficulty came from the requirement that they had to have sex in a public area where the risk of being caught was real, yet they couldn’t actually be caught. If they were caught, or they moved somewhere completely safe in the middle of the act, the ritual would fail.

That was why Jay was careful to make sure Aila didn’t let them drift too high above the city. While she could feel the ritual taking effect as a subtle undercurrent to the delightful sensations of Aila’s gyrations, she could already tell that if they went too high, the risk would be gone and they spell would cancel itself.

Since she was managing to keep a clearer head, Jay took over controlling the airship’s flight. Meanwhile, Aila’s focus shifted entirely towards achieving a peak. Whether it was Jay’s peak or her own didn’t matter. Just so long as three climaxes were experienced between the two of them.

“Oh, gods,” Aila moaned as her grinding motions became a little more frantic. “Fuck. You’re so deep. You’re always—ah, so deep inside me.”

“I love being inside you,” Jay whispered into her lover’s ear. “I want to be in you all day, every day.”

“You would, wouldn’t you,” Aila said between clenched teeth as her right hand feel between her legs. “Oh, yes… that’s why I have to—ah, have to keep you, always, on task.”

“Always,” Jay agreed as she breathed in the heavenly scent of her beautiful mate. “I always need you. Mmm… Always.”

The Behemoth continued its slow trek across the sky, the wheels underneath passing only ten feet above some of the taller buildings along the way. Jay kept an eye out to make sure no one who might be on those nearby rooftops noticed what they were doing, but her attention was somewhat distracted. It had been only a couple of minutes and Aila was already panting hard, her hand moving frantically between her legs as her core fluttered with mounting tension. She would come soon, and it would be just as they were passing over a whole company of soldiers marching down the street they were passing. If any of them looked up, all they would see was an airship. But within that airship were two gorgeous women, one of whom had a giant-sized cock shoved inside the other.

The thought made Jay’s own heartbeat thump wildly as the tension in the pit of her stomach increased by leaps and bounds.

“Oh, gods!” Aila groaned, biting onto her free hand’s pointer finger as her pussy convulsed around Jay’s throbbing member.

“You’re so fucking hot,” Jay gasped as her lover climaxed on top of her cock. “I love you so much.”

Aila made no coherent reply, her breath coming in gaps as her insides tightly squeezed Jay to the point it was nearly painful. After a minute, the mage relaxed, though not completely. She still sat firmly upright on top of Jay, her posture as prim as it ever was. However, Jay could see in the reflection of the glass window shield of the cockpit that Aila’s blue eyes were glazed over.

What Jay also saw she stared straight ahead were two winged figures flying straight for them.

“Act natural,” Jay murmured as she tried to calm her own wildly beating heart.

Aila didn’t immediately respond to the command, but a moment later, she put her still slick right hand onto the controls in a shaky attempt at casual driving posture.

Less than twenty seconds later and two Seraphim winged past the left side of the airship. Jay recognized them both. Tacitus was in the lead, followed closely by Noct. Aelius’ two children were flying fast, having come from the direction of the far side of the river. Tacitus didn’t slow as he passed the airship by, his broad blue wings shining in the sun’s light. Noct, however, did slow just enough that she raised a hand in greeting.

Jay waved at the woman with the weird bondage armor, while Aila weakly did the same a second later. It was impossible to see any sort of expression on the Seraphim’s face thanks to her helmet, but her body language didn’t change. She simply flew on, passing them by after a scant few heartbeats.

All was silent inside the wagon for a long moment.

“Did they see us?” Aila asked, her voice practically vibrating with tension.

“…no,” Jay said after a second. “The ritual hasn’t been cancelled.”

“…should we continue?”

“Even if they had, I think you know the answer to that question.”

“Pervert.”

“Always for you.”
