Chaos Heavenly Emperor Technique

Soon, the members from Yuntian Commerce also arrived as planned, and naturally, Ling Feng represented Yuntian Commerce in the competition.

Besides Ling Feng, Lio Jun also participated in this Elixir King gathering.

During this period, while following Ling Feng, Lio Jun greatly benefited and his alchemy skills improved rapidly.

Although he did not expect to make a spectacular impact at the Elixir King gathering and achieve some good ranking, he hoped to exchange and spar with fellow alchemists during this event dedicated to alchemists.

”Young Master Ling, Young Master, both of you must do your best!”

Xiao Cui made a cheering gesture towards Ling Feng and Lio Jun, almost ready to mobilize all the maids of the Lio Family to form a cheerleading team.

Ling Feng shook his head and smiled. Seeing Lio Jun obviously a bit nervous, he gently patted his shoulder and said calmly, ”Just perform at your usual level.”

”Hmm!”

Lio Jun nodded heavily, Ling Feng’s words calmed him down significantly.

Looking at the side of Jiuxiao Elixir Pavilion, a total of eight alchemists participated in this Elixir King event, including Master Cheentian, who even took part in this competition.

This fellow, after resting for more than half a month, recovered quite well although he looks ugly, his actual age is not too old, barely qualifying for the Elixir King event.

At this time, Master Cheentian glared fiercely in the direction of Yuntian Commerce. When he saw Ling Feng’s gaze passing by, he shrunk his neck and dared not to meet Ling Feng’s eyes.

This guy is probably already scared out of his wits by Ling Feng.

”Young Master Ling, among the alchemists sent by Jiuxiao Elixir Pavilion, seven of them have recorded profiles, but the one wearing a purple robe hasn’t appeared before. He should be an external reinforcement invited by Jiuxiao Elixir Pavilion.”

Lio Yunyan quietly reminded.

Ling Feng smiled calmly, regardless of external or internal reinforcements, all are negligible.

Besides the alchemists from Jiuxiao Elixir Pavilion, alchemists from Yeruo City and dozens of surrounding cities also traveled tirelessly to participate in this Elixir King gathering.

One man among them, looking in his thirties, with natural double pupils, appeared spirited and of extraordinary temperament, attracting Ling Feng’s attention slightly.

Intuitively, this person should be a rather capable alchemist.

Soon, the Elixir King event officially commenced, with an unexpectedly large attendance of fifty-six alchemists!

Usually, an alchemist is already quite rare, yet this Elixir King event gathered so many outstanding alchemists, clearly demonstrating the huge appeal of Pure Yang Palace.

”The Elixir King event officially begins!”

Without much further opening remarks, Tao Hong succinctly announced the start of the gathering.

Next, a huge platform rose in the center of the venue, on which rows of pill furnaces were arranged, perfectly matching the number of alchemists participating in the Elixir King event.

The pill furnaces were of the same specifications and quality, thus eliminating any influence of furnace quality on alchemy.

”The rules of the gathering are simple: compete via alchemy accomplishments, refine the same elixir, and rank by quality! Additionally, any form of elixir fire array is prohibited. At Pure Yang Palace, a sect not only of alchemy but also of martial arts, those unable to condense primordial true fire cannot earn Pure Yang Palace’s recognition.”

Tao Hong spoke solemnly about the competition rules, and none of the fifty-six alchemist participants showed any complaints.

Although elixir fire arrays could assist in alchemy, they are ultimately minor skills.

Truly powerful alchemists must possess their own primordial true fire, or even abnormal fire!

”Well, let’s not waste words, the first round of the competition begins!”

In the first round, each alchemist would receive a fourth-rank elixir recipe, called Violent Yuan Elixir, which, after consumption, could instantly double one’s elemental power, being a kind of auxiliary elixir with considerable value, albeit with relatively high refining difficulty among fourth-rank elixirs.

Soon, the participating alchemists each chose a pill furnace and began their actions.

All ingredients and elixir recipes were provided by Jiuxiao Elixir Pavilion, while Pure Yang Palace disciples supervised, thus ensuring fairness and impartiality, despite Jiuxiao Elixir Pavilion being both a participant and organizer.

Pure Yang Palace, as the pillar of the alchemy world, would not show any bias.

Ling Feng glanced at the elixir recipe, already forming a clear plan in his mind; fourth-rank elixirs posed little difficulty for him.

Despite not being able to use the elixir fire array, he could condense abnormal fire with the Great Creation Technique.

Just refining alchemy was more than enough.

Lio Jun, in the end, lacked some foundation, staring at the elixir recipe and researching meticulously for a while before gradually sketching a plan.

On the field, most alchemists were similar to Lio Jun; only less than ten instantly had a plan at a glance.

”Just refining a fourth-rank elixir, it actually needs thinking?”

Behind Tao Hong, a young man dressed lightly and carrying a long sword had a slightly disdainful look at the corner of his mouth. As an outstanding genius of Pure Yang Palace, he naturally looked down on these alchemists from small places.

”Beyond the heavens, there are heavens; beyond men, there are men! Zhuo Ming, in the way of alchemy, never be conceited and arrogant.”

Tao Hong frowned slightly and softly reprimanded.

”The disciple adheres to the teachings!”

The young man named Zhuo Ming blushed and quickly acknowledged his mistake to Tao Hong, though he still looked down on alchemists outside Pure Yang Palace.

”Hehe...”

A girl clad in green from Pure Yang Palace couldn’t help but giggle, ”Senior Brother Zhuo, see, you’ve been scolded by the master again?”

Zhuo Ming gave a cold hum, yet did not speak further.

...

Meanwhile, in the center of the plaza, most of the dozens of alchemists were already in action.

Besides Ling Feng, the most outstanding in performance were the purple-robed alchemist from Jiuxiao Elixir Pavilion and the double-pupil alchemist from the outer city.

Setting down the elixir recipe, Ling Feng began alchemy, the first step being purifying and extracting the essence of ingredients.

Alongside the recipe for Violent Yuan Elixir, the ingredients for refining it were also provided, totaling three portions, placed on the table next to him.

Meaning, each alchemist had three chances to refine the Violent Yuan Elixir. If all three attempts failed, automatic elimination followed.

Ling Feng’s hand speed was beyond reproach. Even without elemental power, his technique was as fast as lightning.

Similarly, the purple-robed alchemist and double-pupil alchemist also had considerable skills, managing to keep pace with Ling Feng.

Next, they initiated the process of heating the pill furnace by activating the primordial true fire.

The first to initiate the elixir fire was the purple-robed alchemist from Jiuxiao Elixir Pavilion.
