Dragon Blood Saint Emperor

And so, the farce came to an end.

Although Ye Ba was unwilling to accept it, the facts were plain to see—he had lost!

The competition quickly resumed.

Any opponent who faced Ye Wushuang chose to forfeit immediately. This was all because of Ye Feng’s declaration: Ye Wushuang was his.

They had to give Ye Feng face. Besides, forfeiting once didn’t mean elimination; they would still have other opportunities.

Thus, Ye Wushuang advanced smoothly to the third round.

Meanwhile, nineteen others, including Ye Cheng, Ye Rou, Ye Feng, Ye Mu, and Ye Ba, also advanced. They were all at or above the Qi Vortex Fifth Layer. Even Ye Ba was among them; though he had lost to Ye Wushuang, he later rallied and defeated his other opponents.

The third round began. This was the final round, a series of one-on-one duels to determine the top ten contestants.

First match: Ye Cheng versus Ye Meng.

Ye Meng was at the Peak of Qi Vortex Fifth Layer, so his strength was not to be underestimated. However, compared to Ye Cheng’s Qi Vortex Eighth Layer, it was nothing. Thus, without a second thought, Ye Meng forfeited.

He had no desire to become the next Ye Dong.

Ye Cheng then walked off the stage with a cold, disdainful expression, leaving behind him a chorus of helpless sighs.

After the first match ended, the second saw Ye Rou pitted against Ye Ba. She defeated him with ease, advancing to the final stage of the competition.

A few more matches followed, and Ye Feng advanced. However, perhaps due to intentional arrangements by the refereeing Elder, he was not matched against Ye Wushuang, much to his displeasure.

Some of those who hadn’t yet advanced turned their attention to Ye Wushuang. Although Ye Feng’s prior warning meant they didn’t dare let Ye Wushuang lose before facing him, losing one match in a one-on-one duel wouldn’t have any major consequences!

This gave some of them an idea. They conferred in private: the first person to face Ye Wushuang wouldn’t have to hold back.

If they did this, a match against Ye Wushuang would bring them one step closer to the top ten!

With this thought in mind, the crowd stared at Ye Wushuang, silently praying in their hearts, ’Let me be the one to fight Ye Wushuang!’

”Next match: Ye Wushuang versus Ye Mu!” Suddenly, the refereeing Elder’s voice rang out. A collective groan rose from below—the one facing Ye Wushuang wasn’t them.

’Heh, it seems fate is truly on my side!’ Hearing the announcement, Ye Mu froze for a second before a cold smirk spread across his face. He hadn’t forgotten for a moment how Ye Wushuang had humiliated him not long ago.

Ye Mu strode onto the battle stage, sneering as he stood before Ye Wushuang. ”Is there even a need to fight?”

”No need,” Ye Wushuang replied, shaking his head.

”See? He’s trash after all!”

”That’s right, his true form is revealed!”

”Coward! No backbone!”

The moment Ye Wushuang finished speaking, many people below the stage began to curse, acting as if they’d known all along that he was trash.

In the first round, Ye Wushuang had gotten lucky because he was seated on the high platform. In the second round, Ye Ba had forfeited, and Ye Wushuang had taken the opportunity to ”sneak attack” him. That was how Ye Ba lost, and how Ye Wushuang advanced.

Now, facing Ye Mu who wouldn’t forfeit, he was finally showing his true colors.

”Hmph. Trash!”

On the high platform, the Fourth Elder let out a cold, mocking smile.

”Shut your mouth!” Ye Xuan’s face instantly darkened. With his sharp rebuke, a powerful aura pressed down on the Fourth Elder, whose expression immediately changed.

He was at the Qi Vortex Ninth Layer; how could he possibly withstand the pressure from someone in the True Essence Realm? He nearly fell to the ground, and only managed to steady himself after Ye Xiong caught him.

Ye Xiong smiled coldly and said, ”Big Brother, in a competition, there are wins and losses. Why get so angry?”

”He hasn’t forfeited yet!”

Ye Xuan said coldly. How could he not know his own son’s character? As long as a single breath remained in his body, he would fight to the end. He would never surrender!

”Whether he has forfeited or not, let’s just watch quietly,” Ye Xiong said, his gaze fixed on the battle stage.

Nearby, Ye Xiao also looked toward the battle stage. No one noticed the glint of curiosity in his eyes—a curiosity for Ye Wushuang.

He had paid more attention to Ye Wushuang ever since the boy had saved Ye Xue, and had been surprised to see a spark of confidence in his eyes.

As he continued to observe, he noticed that this spark of confidence had been there from the very beginning and had never wavered. This piqued his curiosity and filled him with a sliver of anticipation.

”Trash. If there’s no need to fight, then kneel and forfeit. You can enter the next round unharmed.” Ye Mu sneered. He didn’t just want Ye Wushuang to surrender; he wanted him to kneel. Only that would vent his anger!

”I’ll give you one chance. Scram!” Suddenly, Ye Wushuang started walking toward Ye Mu. His reaction was something no one had expected.

Ye Wushuang told Ye Mu to scram!

”Now this is a good show!”

In an instant, the crowd was once again staring at the two figures on the stage, their eyes full of anticipation for the drama to come.

”You’re telling *me* to scram?”

Ye Mu’s eyes narrowed, his gaze turning frigid. ”You arrogant piece of trash. It seems you’re just begging to be taught a lesson!”

As he spoke, BOOM! Ye Mu took a step forward, a surging palm pressing down on Ye Wushuang with suppressive force. If Ye W’ushuang wouldn’t kneel, then he would be forced to.

”Someone is definitely begging for a lesson!” Ye Wushuang sneered as his figure flashed. A vast and domineering energy surged forth, powerful and overwhelming.

”Suppress!”

With that single word, Ye Wushuang spread his five fingers and pressed his palm down toward Ye Mu.

BOOM!

Ye Mu suddenly felt a crushing weight descend upon him. All his attacks disintegrated in an instant. With a THUD, his knees slammed heavily onto the ground, shaking the entire battle stage.

In a single breath, the battle was over!

The crowd’s gaze froze. The unexpected outcome struck them like a heavy hammer to the chest, making it difficult to breathe.

Ye Mu had been suppressed by Ye Wushuang with a single palm strike!

This reversal was so dreamlike that it felt unreal.

”How is that possible? His Cultivation is... Qi Vortex Fourth Level!”

On the high platform, the elders shot to their feet, their eyes fixed on Ye Wushuang in disbelief. The aura he had revealed for an instant was that of the Qi Vortex Fourth Level.

Ye Wushuang had been suppressing his power, and with the special nature of the Heaven-Devouring Dragon Technique concealing his Cultivation, no one knew his true level. However, the aura he had just released made one thing clear to them all: Ye Wushuang’s Cultivation was at the Qi Vortex Fourth Level!

”Shuang’er!” At this sight, Ye Xuan also stood up, his eyes shining with brilliant surprise. His own son had suppressed Ye Mu with a single palm strike. He had never imagined it.

”You piece of trash! You hid your Cultivation! You deceived us!” Ye Mu knelt on the ground, his eyes savage as he shook his head frantically. Ye Wushuang had actually suppressed him with a single palm.

”Trash?”

Ye Wushuang scoffed. ”And yet, here you are, kneeling before this ’trash’.”

Kneeling before this ’trash’!

Hearing this, Ye Mu was struck speechless, not knowing what to say. Others might not have been able to sense Ye Wushuang’s strength, but he could.

Having just personally experienced Ye Wushuang’s strength, he now understood. That power was terrifying, on a completely different level, making it impossible for him to resist.

This was the strength of a ”piece of trash”!

”Scram!”

Ye Wushuang snorted coldly and kicked Ye Mu off the stage.

Humiliated and indignant, Ye Mu choked back his rage and shouted, ”I forfeit!”

”Forfeit?”

Ye Wushuang gave a cold smile. ”Didn’t you hear me? I told you to get lost!”

The moment Ye Mu came on stage, he demanded that Ye Wushuang forfeit and even kneel. If he hadn’t been strong enough, he would have been utterly humiliated. Now that Ye Wushuang had defeated him, how could he possibly let him off easy?

Ye Wushuang was no Saint, just an ordinary mortal who dared to be angry and dared to hate. Spare Ye Mu? He couldn’t do it!
