Eternally Regressing in Another World

It was class time. The restaurant was a little quiet. Only a few waitresses were cleaning.

Seeing Wang Yue come in, a waitress walked over and said politely, ”Classmate, sorry. Breakfast here is already sold out.”

”Can I sit a while?” Wang Yue asked.

The service here was good. There was no intent to drive Wang Yue out. The waitress smiled. ”No problem. As you like.”

Wang Yue sat somewhere at random and, looking for something to say, asked the waitress who had received him, ”Sister, how long have you worked here?”

The waitress was idle too, and Wang Yue was young, handsome, harmless to man and beast. She had nothing to guard against. She stopped her work and said, ”Almost two years.”

”This restaurant is decorated very high-end. The prices must not be cheap. Can it still have customers?” Wang Yue asked again.

The waitress smiled. ”You guessed wrong. The decoration is high-end, and the food is high quality, true, but it isn’t much more expensive than other places. So every day a lot of students eat here.”

”Then doesn’t your boss make no money?” Wang Yue asked, a little curious.

”That I don’t know.” The waitress said it, then suddenly lowered her voice, very gossipy. ”But we’ve calculated in private. Take out rent, ingredients, the wages paid to us every month, and all the odds and ends, the boss almost only breaks even. She doesn’t make any money at all.”

”Oh?” Wang Yue could not help frowning. This seemed very suspicious. What shop under heaven was not for making money?

And the waitresses in this shop, though not peerless like Li Yingying, all had looks, and were young, all only about twenty.

Could the boss of this shop be like him, a lecherous ghost among the lecherous?

The moment he thought that, Wang Yue spat at himself in his heart. ”Ptui, ptui! What lecherous ghost. I’m not!”

He was still very doubtful of the boss of this shop.

Lust was not much of a fault, but it depended who the lust was for. If the boss of this shop had bad intentions toward Li Yingying, Young Master Wang absolutely could not tolerate it.

So he asked again, ”Where’s your boss? I don’t see her. Is she usually not here?”

The waitress said, ”Our boss lives here. She really rarely comes out, though. Even we employees rarely see her. One new short-term girl does get called in to talk often.”

Wang Yue’s heart thudded. He blurted, ”Li Yingying?”

”Eh? You know Yingying?” The waitress asked, a little surprised.

Wang Yue was almost sure now that the boss here had designs on Li Yingying. His tone turned impolite. ”I want to see your boss!”

”This...” The waitress hesitated. ”I don’t have that authority. At most I can ask for you.”

”Then go ask.” Wang Yue waved.

Before that waitress could go ask, another waitress at the very back of the restaurant suddenly said loudly, ”That classmate over there. Our boss asks you to come in and talk.”

Wang Yue stood and strode to the very back of the restaurant. There was a corridor seven or eight meters long. A door opened on each side, and one at the far end.

The door on the left connected to the serving windows. Clearly the kitchen. The door on the right had a restroom sign. The restaurant boss naturally could not be behind those two doors.

So Wang Yue walked straight to the end of the corridor and pushed the door open. Since the person inside was no good thing, he naturally did not need to be polite.

”Little brother, pushing the door open like this is very rude.” The moment he entered, Wang Yue heard a voice soft to the bone.

He looked. The room was decorated like a living room. On the sofa facing the door, a woman sat, watching Wang Yue with interest.

She was a very beautiful woman. On looks alone she was no worse than the level of the Four Peerless and the Twelve Beauties. She even surpassed most of them. By Wang Yue’s standard, at least ninety-five. Enough to stand equal with his two aunts.

More important, this woman wore a very conservative black dress. Apart from her face and hands, no skin showed. Under that loose black dress her figure could not be seen at all. The moment he saw her, the first thing Wang Yue thought of was sex. Even below, something stirred.

In short, she was a very tempting woman. She was clearly not dressed sexually at all, and still made people feel she was more tempting than beauties with their clothes off.

Wang Yue could also tell she was a martial artist. He could not see the realm, but she was absolutely not weak.

Wang Yue guarded himself in secret and asked, looking at her, ”Who are you?”

The woman smiled faintly. ”Weren’t you looking for me. Why ask who I am?”

”You’re the boss here?!” Wang Yue froze on the spot.

This was very awkward.

He had thought the boss here was an old lecher who had Li Yingying help because he coveted her looks, so he had come meaning to teach the other side a lesson.

He had never thought this ”old lecher” was a peerless beauty who surpassed Li Yingying by who knew how many times in beauty, maturity, and temptation.

”You were in a rush to see me, and came in a fury. It must be for Yingying. What, afraid I’m an old lecher and ate her?” The woman looked at Wang Yue, half smiling, and said.

Wang Yue’s heart jumped again. How did this woman seem to read minds. Whatever he thought, she knew.

That made Wang Yue, besides beauty and temptation, put a new label on this woman. Dangerous!

If it were only this, Wang Yue would not have been pressed in momentum. His strength was there. With strength, there was naturally confidence.

He had gotten the other side’s identity wrong from the start, come in a fury to make trouble, and ended in a great awkwardness. His momentum was naturally a little weaker.

So in this moment he had fallen completely to the lower hand, in a passive place.

”Since you’re here, don’t stand. Sit and talk.” The woman did not keep pressing step by step. She pointed at the sofa to the side and made a please toward Wang Yue. After he sat she asked, ”You’re Yingying’s boyfriend?”

Wang Yue shook his head. ”No. We’re only ordinary friends. There’s just some relation.”

He said it not because he was irresponsible. He and Li Yingying had had that ambiguity yesterday, but neither had said anything. Wang Yue was a man with principles. He would not make a settled fact before it was settled.

”Good that you said no. If you had said yes, you wouldn’t be walking out of here today.” The woman still had a face full of smiles. The words made a person cold.

”What do you mean?” Wang Yue asked, thinking, could this woman like women, and have taken a liking to Li Yingying?

”Wang Yue. Young master of the Wang Family, one of the three great martial families of Golden Mountain. The only living male of the three great families. Cultivation talent quite good. At fifteen, already Refine Qi fifth layer. More important, you and Chen Xi of the Chen Family have long had a marriage set.” The woman reported Wang Yue’s file like family treasures. ”A marriage on you, and you still provoke Yingying. Do you think I’ll let you go?”

Hearing her say that, Wang Yue relaxed instead.

Watching Wang Yue turn and leave, Li Yingying wanted to slap herself twice. She clearly hoped to be with him. How had the words at her mouth inexplicably become telling him to go?

Calling him back, she was too shy to open her mouth. She could only watch him walk out, tangled, until he disappeared from sight.

All of it fell into the eyes of Yu Yan, in the back room, watching the live surveillance.

The changes after Li Yingying arrived made her feel something was off.

She truly did not hope Li Yingying would be with Wang Yue. That Wang Yue was not bad, but in her view he was far from worthy of her disciple.

The situation now was that Li Yingying seemed to have already moved for Wang Yue.

Yu Yan had originally meant to wait a few more days before telling Li Yingying about taking her as a disciple. School was also about to start summer break. Perfect for laying her foundation over the holiday.
