Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 516: Soda for the royals

Prince Harry and Princess Elizabeth ended up taking a glass of RD Soda as well after seeing their children loving the drink.

And just like them, the royal twins loved the drink so much that they ended up spilling some of their drink onto their clothes.

”Hahaha! Mom, you’re doing it as well!”

Elizabeth’s cheeks flushed as she hurriedly wiped the soda from her mouth. ”Ahem, now children, that was not good etiquette—BURP!”

After drinking that much soda in one gulp, Elizabeth belched out a very satisfying burp, surprising everyone and even herself.

”Oh dearie me!”

Right next to her, Prince Harry coughed slightly before copying exactly what his twin sister did.

”BURP!”

Seeing their parents burp loudly like that made their children laugh out loud. They laughed so much that they ended up burping a lot as well.

BURP!

BURP!

BURP!

A mixture of laughter and burping echoed out through the silent Entertainment District.

Even the musicians that were playing in the restaurants couldn’t help but stop their music and peer out into what was happening in the royal family.

The Royal Family, who were renowned for their manners, style, and grace, were now burping constantly yet still having fun without any care in the world. Gone was their stuck-upness. They were just in the streets, as a family, experiencing something new and enjoying it.

”They’re...just like us.”

”I didn’t know royals could laugh like that.”

”Hehe...I burp a lot too. It makes me feel good knowing even they do it too!”

Everyone’s perception of the royals changed instantly—for the better. They weren’t these untouchable beings that were different from normal people. They were just like any other family.

This embarrassing moment made them much more relatable, and therefore more likable. Those that disliked the royal family for their elitism couldn’t help but renew their opinions of them. They weren’t pretentious or egotistical as they first thought!

And because they were likeable, many people wanted to become like them, or at the very least, do what they did.

Their influence as the royal family led them to become sort-of like influencers from Michael’s previous world. Anything that they did, the public wanted to do as well.

”What are they drinking?”

”That drink must be something special. This must have been why they visited this district in the first place!”

”I want to drink it too. I want to burp like them!”

Somehow, burping became cool. It was the new trend. And because of that, many people eyed Michael’s soda bottles like they were made out of gold. They couldn’t wait to purchase one for themselves.

And the fact that they could only see about a hundred bottles or so made them think that it was a limited quantity. This drove their desire to get the soda even more than before!

However, the royal family was positioned at the stall, meaning they couldn’t approach the owner to buy some soda.

And it was at this moment that the Rebornian salespeople came in. They struck while the iron was hot!

”RD Soda here! Come get your own bottles!”

”Free sample for everyone! Does anyone want some RD Soda?”

”Come and drink what the royals are drinking!”

Everyone quickly turned towards the five Rebornians with hunger in their eyes.

”Me! I want one!”

”One?! Give me five.”

”Me too! Me too!”

”Hey! Don’t be greedy! Save some for the rest of us!”

Those that were closest to the salespeople immediately shouted out their order.

And as expected of a professional, the Rebornians multi-tasked very easily. They took everyone’s order, memorized them, got their payment, and gave them change all while a hundred people were shouting at them and crowding around them.

To fulfill everyone’s order, they reached down into their shadows and took out the appropriate number of RD Soda bottles to their customers. This was possible because their shadows were inhabited by the Shadow Orcs, who acted sort-of like a spatial inventory for them.

The Entertainment District became like a wet public market with all the screaming and pushing from the crowd.

Their customers had now tripled or quadrupled what they were getting before. And it was only growing more and more as people began to find out that the royals drank RD Soda.

This time, Michael’s customers weren’t just the normal, ordinary citizens. He was even getting the attention of the high-class and rich clientele that only the Pyramidic Cuisine could get!

If the RD Soda was good enough for the royals, then it was good enough for them too.

They used to treat RD Soda as a low-class refreshment and didn’t give it a second look, but now, they treat it as exotic and hip. It won’t be long before it becomes the rage in the upper-class circles.

And this sudden burst in popularity was all what Michael needed.

Once more and more people got a taste of soda, the more people realized that this was a completely new taste and experience.

They were curious because of the royals. They stayed because of the taste.

Harry approached Michael and gave him a pat on the back. ”Congratulations on the success.”

”It’s all thanks to you guys,” he said genuinely.

Elizabeth shook her head and disagreed. ”Your products are already good. It would have done well regardless if we were here or not.”

”Still, as thanks to you, I’ll send you guys ten crates of soda bottles for free.”

The children cheered and celebrated like they had just won the war. Of course, he had to remind them to keep studying or else he wouldn’t be sending them more soda in the future.

”We promise, boss Michael!”

After that, the royal family went back to their carriage and set off back to their castle, with the children peeking out of the windows and waving their goodbyes at Michael.

Even after the royals bid their goodbyes to Michael, people still came into his stall to purchase the rumored RD Soda. He actually sold more bottles after the royals left.

It wasn’t long after that did they finally reach their goal mark.

10,000 soda bottles sold in only 12 hours. And half of those hours were before the royals showed up!

He had also been counting the sales that the Pyramidic Cuisine made throughout the day and he estimated that they made about 8,200 sales.

He beat them. Fair and square. And if he had more bottles of soda ready, then they would have definitely sold more.

Either way, Michael was happy that they got what they needed.

And once he presented the sales number to Jimmy, the rookie journalist couldn’t believe the news.

”This is so good!” he exclaimed. ”This is enough evidence to say that Reborn deserves a rank in the top 400s! The fact that the royals showed up will give us even more credibility. Don’t worry. I’ll get us that ranking!”

...

...

...

Jimmy immediately went over to the Daily Metro to report the sales that Reborn just accomplished during the day.

As he entered their premises, he saw a lot of people running all over the place. Many of them were rushing to deliver articles after articles, with many revisions in its publication.

He then looked at the very end of the office, where the head Editor was located.
