My Mosquito Clones Are on a Killing Spree

Chapter 8: Chapter 4: Level Up

He could clearly feel it: as the Mosquito Avatar tirelessly drew blood, his own Qi and Blood, like a dry spring being filled with fresh water, was steadily and continuously rising!

Time passed quietly during the silent feeding.

Soon, ten minutes had passed.

The Mosquito Avatar’s feeding finally became sluggish and labored.

The sensation was like squeezing a sponge that had already been wrung dry; no matter how hard he squeezed, he couldn’t get another single drop of water out.

With a flicker of his thoughts, Lin Yi immediately projected his consciousness to check the Mosquito Avatar’s status.

In the shared vision, the blurry image gradually came into focus.

Inside the cold iron cage, the Tibetan Mastiff, which had once been as robust as a small calf, was now shriveled beyond recognition!

Its loose fur hung over a gaunt skeleton. Its once-ferocious aura was completely gone, without a trace of life.

In its deep sleep, it had been drained of all its blood by a tiny mosquito—drained to death!

Lin Yi’s heart leaped as his gaze swept over his own status panel.

The value for his Qi and Blood leaped into view:

9.13!

Lin Yi’s Qi and Blood had reached a stunning 9.13!

One Tibetan Mastiff... just one!

It had actually increased his Qi and Blood by a full 0.1!

’0.1... A full 0.1 increase in Qi and Blood!’

Lin Yi took a deep breath, but he couldn’t hide his shock.

He knew all too well what this meant!

On the path of Martial Dao Cultivation, a Qi and Blood of 10.0 was a towering watershed, the threshold for stepping into the Martial Artist Realm.

After one’s Qi and Blood reached 10.0, they could attempt to break through and become an official Martial Artist.

And the closer one got to this limit, the more Qi and Blood growth slowed to a snail’s pace, becoming exceptionally difficult.

Previously, the original owner of this body, with no resources to supplement him, had spent countless hours of effort and sweat over a full month, only to painstakingly raise his Qi and Blood by a measly 0.02.

But now?

In just these ten short minutes!

He had achieved an accumulation that would take others months, or even longer, to reach. His Qi and Blood had skyrocketed, increasing by 0.1!

This efficiency... was simply monstrous!

However, the surprises weren’t over yet.

The moment the Mosquito Avatar stopped feeding and left the Tibetan Mastiff’s carcass, still wanting more, a cold, clear system notification suddenly rang out deep inside Lin Yi’s mind:

[Mosquito Avatar Growth +1!]

[Mosquito Avatar Level has increased to LV2!]

[New Skill Acquired: Iron Body LV1!]

[Iron Body]: Grants the Mosquito Avatar a body as hard as steel, significantly increasing its Defense Power.

[Flight LV1 Skill has been upgraded!]

[Flight LV2]: 2x base speed. (Current base speed: 10 meters/second.)

’The Mosquito Avatar leveled up?’

An indescribable ecstasy instantly seized Lin Yi’s mind.

He suppressed his excited trembling and immediately called up the Mosquito Avatar’s status panel:

[Avatar]: Common Mosquito.

[Level]: LV2 (Beginner Martial Disciple).

[Experience Points]: 0/3.

[Skills]: Flight LV2 (2x base speed),

Blood Sucking LV1 (Efficiently drains target’s Qi and Blood),

Tracking LV1 (Locks onto a specific target’s aura),

Paralysis LV1 (Injects toxin to paralyze the target),

Iron Body LV1 (Greatly enhances body strength, making it as hard as steel).

”Good! Good! Good!”

A sharp glint shot from Lin Yi’s eyes as he spat out three resounding ”Good!”s, each word filled with irrepressible excitement.

With the Mosquito Avatar’s Level increasing to LV2, its life-form had leaped to a new tier, now comparable to a Beginner Martial Disciple who tempers their muscles and bones in the human world!

More importantly, this level-up had granted it the skill ”Iron Body”!

With this skill, the Mosquito Avatar was finally no longer as fragile as paper. Its survivability had increased tremendously.

Lin Yi finally no longer had to worry about the Mosquito Avatar’s safety.

At least he wouldn’t have to be on pins and needles, afraid it would be crushed by a careless slap, just like a normal mosquito!

Not only that, but its flight ability had also improved significantly.

After its life-form reached the level of a Beginner Martial Disciple, the Mosquito Avatar’s base speed increased massively, skyrocketing from one meter every 2.4 seconds to ten meters per second.

Plus, with the Flight skill upgraded to LV2, it now had twice its base speed.

The Mosquito Avatar’s speed had now exploded to twenty meters per second!

That was even faster than a human Intermediate Martial Disciple!

For the avatar, this was undoubtedly a qualitative leap in mobility!

Tonight’s first hunt was a perfect success!

The rewards had far exceeded his expectations!

Lin Yi’s own Qi and Blood had surged by 0.1, bringing him another big step closer to the threshold of a Martial Artist. Meanwhile, the crucial Mosquito Avatar’s strength had advanced by leaps and bounds, completing a magnificent transformation.

The operation was a resounding success!

His heart filled with immense joy, Lin Yi didn’t hesitate, mentally commanding the brand-new Mosquito Avatar.

The tiny Dark Shadow slipped nimbly through the gaps in the iron cage’s bars. Its LV2 speed turned it into a black streak, almost invisible to the naked eye, as it zipped through the dark corridor. In the span of a few breaths, it had already flown silently back home.
