The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1200: Chapter 454: Porsche 918 Spyder_3

One of the three great hypercars on Earth, the Porsche 918 Spyder, the Black Knight.

People who don’t know cars might only look at its front and possibly mistake it for a 718, but once you see its back, with that explosively handsome active spoiler, it naturally highlights its nobility.

Among the three great hypercars, compared to the wild Italian style of the Ferrari LaFerrari and the British aggression of the McLaren P1, the 918 Spyder is more like a work of art meticulously crafted by a German engineer.

”It doesn’t belong in a showroom; it should be parked in a futuristic gallery—a piece of metal poetry cast with wind speed, thermodynamic formulas, and the spirit of German obsession.”

Zhou Wang mumbled a line he read in a magazine before. Even though he hadn’t handled it personally yet, he surprisingly found that description fitting.

The Porsche 918 slowly parked beside Zhou Wang, and Miao Ying opened the butterfly-style door, climbed out from the driver’s seat, and handed the keys to Zhou Wang.

”Have the transfer procedures all been completed?”

Zhou Wang took the car key and routinely asked.

”Yes, it was personally handled by Manager Ma from the club, and the file bag containing the temporary license plate and the vehicle license is in the car...”

Miao Ying nodded and replied.

This supercar, not easily found on the market, was purchased by Zhou Wang through the ”Trading Market” of Building No.9 Club.

Last time while browsing in the club, Zhou Wang noticed this nearly new supercar was for sale, priced at 28.88 million.

Yes, 28.88 million...

This number indeed startled Zhou Wang, as previously when he bought McLaren P1 from Yu Fei, he already purchased it at a premium, and the number on paper was only 13.8 million.

Even considering the landing price of Porsche 918 was originally more expensive than McLaren P1 back in the day, the price nearing 30 million was still very exaggerated.

After all, the landing price of Porsche 918 back then was about 14 to 15 million RMB.

Why did Zhou Wang buy it at such a high price?

The reason is simple.

The Porsche 918 Spyder listed for sale in the club was being sold by a wealthy person who loves collecting supercars. From the day of purchase, except for the two kilometers of test driving, it has never been moved...

In other words, this Porsche 918 is approximately brand new.

According to the current market conditions, a brand new unregistered 918 Spyder is basically unattainable, a 918 with mileage under 500 would market beyond 25 million, potentially over double, let alone a ”second-hand new car” with zero mileage...

Given Zhou Wang’s currently tight financial situation (he already feels that even a hundred million isn’t very useful), having an Aston Martin for commuting, he shouldn’t spend tens of millions on a limited supercar with limited practical use.

But he can’t resist his temptation.

When he first lit up the ”show-off” badge, Zhou Wang gained the ”Three Great Supercars Zero-Cost Purchase” privilege. But constrained by the availability of the other two models, and Zhou Wang’s preferences for car paint color, aside from buying a McLaren P1, the privilege hasn’t been used again.

And this time, Zhou Wang can finally indulge again.

The transaction platform of the club received the solid 28.88 million, but for Zhou Wang, his balance remained unchanged, as the system was footing the bill.

Since it made no difference to him, and considering there’s a somewhat important meeting today, Zhou Wang had Xu Wenqian reach out to Manager Ma at the club to reserve the car.

Old Ma’s efficiency was quite high. Zhou Wang hadn’t even sent the payment yet, and he told Xu Wenqian that they could already pick up the car, which is why Miao Ying went to collect the car today.

After giving Xu Wenqian a few reminders, Zhou Wang squeezed into the somewhat cramped driver’s seat of the Porsche 918, adjusted the Bluetooth, and then accelerated towards the location sent by Yu Duo.

After the Porsche 918, the Mercedes business car driven by Xiao Wang quietly followed...
