Almighty Sweet Queen is Really Rich!

Chapter 953: Chapter 953: What Does Big Brother Think of Haohao?

Su Li watched Feng Huaijin whispering with Tuanzi, a slight smile appearing at the corner of her mouth.

Although Feng Huaimu was her biological elder brother, considering the already complicated relationships within the Feng Family, it’s best to avoid suspicion when a lone man and woman are in the same room.

Feng Huaimu held the key he had gotten from the butler, which was already rusted and seemed infrequently used.

Feng Huaimu opened the door to the cellar and took the lead to walk inside.

Su Li tightly held Tuanzi’s hand as they followed behind, somewhat uneasy, she asked, ”Big brother, could there be mice in this cellar?”

The Su family had never used a cellar. She heard online that some cellars have mice, which is kind of gross.

Tuanzi promptly puffed out his tiny chest and said, ”Mom, don’t worry, Tuanzi will protect you.”

Feng Huaimu reached up to turn on the yellowish light in the wine cellar and said with a smile, ”Don’t worry, there won’t be mice in Grandpa’s wine cellar.”

Stepping down the stairs one by one, Su Li gradually felt the temperature drop, and goosebumps started to appear on her arms.

Going deeper, the wine cellar was a sight to behold. Rows of three-meter-tall brown wooden racks stood lined up, with bottles of wine placed upon them.

The thick aroma of wine filled the cellar, intoxicating the senses, seemingly intent on leaving a rosy hue on one’s face.

Su Li couldn’t help but exclaim, ”As expected from a wine cellar, it smells so good.”

Unlike Feng Huaijin, Su Li quite enjoyed drinking, especially sweet fruit wines with low alcohol content; they were her favorites.

Feng Huaimu introduced, ”The wines stored in Grandpa’s wine cellar, some are brewed from grapes grown by himself, while others were imported from abroad. Sister-in-law, pick whichever you like.”

Tuanzi stood on tiptoe, gazing up at the rack, ”Is there juice?”

”I think there is.”

Tuanzi looked expectant upon hearing this.

Feng Huaimu seemed to enjoy tobacco and wine a lot, striding deeper into the racks. He tapped the bottles filled with rich wine, producing a series of crisp sounds, which were somewhat abrupt in the otherwise silent underground wine cellar.

Su Li glanced at the figure faintly shimmering under the dim yellow light and couldn’t resist asking, ”Big brother, was today your shopping day with Haohao?”

Feng Huaimu raised a bottle of red wine, ”Yeah.”

Upon hearing him reply, Su Li quickly asked, ”Big brother, what do you think of... Haohao?”

Feng Huaimu walked out with the red wine bottle, looked down at the label, and said, ”This one is from ’97, not very intoxicating. Want to try it?”

He paused slightly, then casually continued, ”You mean Miss Xu Haohao? Hmm... I think she’s a very helpful and warm-hearted girl.”

Su Li had a slightly sly look in her eyes. Was Feng Huaimu implying...

A good Samaritan?

Was that all?

Su Li suddenly kind of understood why Xu Haohao in the future would travel abroad, still single after many years.

It seemed like Feng Huaimu was just a passing figure in her life, not at all sparking any romance!

Thinking about that, Su Li looked at the red wine Feng Huaimu handed over, and declined, ”Thanks, big brother, but I’d like to choose one myself.”

She walked over to the wine rack, choosing as she casually probed, ”Then what kind of girl does big brother like? I’m just curious.”

I’m curious on behalf of my best friend.

Feng Huaimu placed the bottle of red wine on the table, pondered for a moment, and said, ”Criteria for choosing a partner? An City’s elegant ladies, gentle and composed, extremely intelligent...”

Su Li: ”...”

Wow! None of those describe my best friend at all!
