Tyrant Sky Martial Soul

Chapter 1503: Chapter 1506: First Kill

”This commotion, I’m quite interested in.”

The Wine Demon Sword was indeed very curious to know where Ling Xiao’s strong confidence came from.

He had never been to the Heavenly Dragon Continent, but he had heard people say that the Martial Artists there were not very strong.

So, Ling Xiao, Moon Lady, Wine Demon Sword, and Leng Mei set out together towards Forest Sea City.

Feng Qingyan stayed at Qingxu College to manage the affairs, as being the dean was not an easy task for him.

On the way, the four encountered the Black White Two Elders of the Fire Phoenix Clan.

”This Phoenix Immeasurable is indeed thoughtful, sending people here to intercept. But rest assured, we are just here to watch the excitement, not intending to make a move.”

Ling Xiao said calmly.

”Kid, you must be Ling Xiao, but when the elders speak, you youngsters should refrain from interrupting.”

Old Black sneered.

”Old Black, don’t take yourself too seriously. What he says is what I say.”

The Wine Demon Sword said calmly.

”What the young man says is also my words.”

Moon Lady chimed in.

Old Black’s face seemed to get slapped hard, turning somewhat flushed.

But the old fox quickly regained his normal complexion.

”Since you all want to watch the excitement, let’s go together then.”

Old Black said.

”Going is no problem, just afraid that you two elder ones might see something unpleasant and might have a heart attack because of weak hearts.”

Ling Xiao laughed.

”Kid, you sure are sharp-tongued, but who might suffer a heart attack at that time is still uncertain!”

So, the Black White Two Elders went together with the four towards Forest Sea City.

They were all experts, arriving quickly in Forest Sea City, spending no more than half an hour.

After arriving, Ling Xiao and the others did not approach but stood from afar watching.

At this time, outside of Forest Sea City, Phoenix Immeasurable was leading an army of over five hundred thousand, densely packed like locusts, covering the sky and earth.

With so many Martial Artists, even a stomp could cause mountains to shake and land to crack.

Probably even Yin Yang Realm Martial Artists wouldn’t dare face such a large number of Martial Artists alone.

Inside Forest Sea City, preparations were rigorously made.

Standing on the city tower was General Ji Ning, who previously served the Phoenix God Empire and now serves the Heavenly Dynasty Empire.

Wu Xianɡ didn’t come to Forest Sea City; as the Emperor of Heavenly Dynasty Empire, staying in the Divine Capital of Tiandynasty is the best choice.

Therefore, in this battle, Ji Ning was the commander-in-chief.

”Ji Ning, you actually betrayed the Phoenix God Empire and joined Tiandynasty! Come out and meet your end quickly!”

The speaker was General Ice.

He and Ji Ning were both among the twelve God Generals, though not as strong as Ji Ning, he felt there wasn’t much difference between them.

”These Phoenix God Empire people are truly shameless.”

”Yes, back then they demoted General Ji Ning and wanted to execute him. Now that he’s returned to his homeland on the Heavenly Dragon Continent and become the Great General of Heavenly Dynasty Empire, they are displeased.”

Citizens in Forest Sea City were discussing in private.

Outside Forest Sea City, many Martial Artists who were either cultivating or adventuring were also secretly discussing.

General Ice’s words seem utterly shameless to them.

Asking someone to give up Forest Sea City is one thing, but calling Ji Ning a traitor is absurd.

”What if I refuse to give up Forest Sea City?”

Ji Ning stood on the city tower and asked loudly.

”If you won’t leave Forest Sea City, not only will you die, but the people living in the city will perish with you.”

General Ice sneered, ”You are a man who cares for the people; you wouldn’t watch these poor citizens perish with you, would you?”

”Damn, I’ve never seen someone so shameless!”

The Wine Demon Sword couldn’t help but curse.

”Indeed, the people of Forest Sea City belong to the Phoenix God Empire. They failed to protect them and now use their own people to threaten the army of Heavenly Dynasty Empire; such shameless acts are expected from Phoenix Immeasurable.”

Ling Xiao mocked.

Old Black sneered, ”Facing the invasion of Tiandynasty’s army and not dying in battle is betrayal, and they deserve to die!”

White Elder also said, ”Exactly, they should have died long ago.”

”Tsk tsk, it seems shamelessness is contagious. How can they send those citizens to die for them? What use are they as the Royal Family?”

Ling Xiao sneered, ”The downfall of the Phoenix God Empire seems inevitable, seeing the nature of the Royal Family.”

”Whether one falls or not is uncertain.”

Old Black said coldly.

Ling Xiao stopped speaking, because clearly negotiations had broken down, and Phoenix Immeasurable issued the order to attack.

”Attack! Flatten Forest Sea City!”

Destroying Forest Sea City could easily be rebuilt, and Phoenix Immeasurable didn’t care at all.

As for the innocent citizens who died, he didn’t care; dead is dead, what relation does that have to him?

General Ice attempted to earn merit by leading an army of one hundred thousand to charge towards Forest Sea City.

He wanted to show the world his immense strength, to prove himself stronger than Ji Ning and also more adept at leading troops.

”Open the city gates!”

Ji Ning surprisingly chose to open the city gates, and then a warrior mounted on the most distinctive ”Fire Dragon Beast” of the Heavenly Dragon Continent charged out leading the cavalry.

The numbers were few, only ten thousand.

This leader was none other than Qin Huo!

”Ji Ning, you dare underestimate me? Fine, I’ll kill this unknown soldier, then rush into the city to wipe you out!”

General Ice was usually scheming, but that intelligence was reserved for facing powerful opponents.

Facing someone weaker, he shrugged off any strategic thought.

He didn’t even consider that if Qin Huo wasn’t strong, Ji Ning wouldn’t have allowed him to lead a willful charge with ten thousand Fire Dragon Cavalry.

The Fire Dragon Beast was a swift type of mount.

In just a moment, Qin Huo had already galloped ahead, leading the charge.

The speed was so fast that even General Ice couldn’t arrange defenses in time.

Shouts of agony resounded as bodies kept being thrown in the air.

The cavalry storming out from Forest Sea City was like a sharp Long Spear thrust into the army of one hundred thousand, effortlessly hacking through them.

”Do not panic, idiots! They are few in number, stay calm, have the sword and shield soldiers create a block, and archers prepare to shoot.”

General Ice roared in anger.

However, just then, a black shadow suddenly appeared in front.

He raised his head.

This shadow transformed into a knight riding a Fire Dragon Beast, leaping high, just five meters above his head.

Then, General Ice felt a terrifying murderous intent and desperately swung his weapon to defend.

The next moment, he felt his body, starting from the head, being split in half by a terrifying Long Spear.

”I’ve seized the enemy general’s head!”

Qin Huo’s shout resounded, and the original chaos of the hundred thousand army, because of Qin Huo’s might, became even more disordered.

At this moment, Qin Huo saw the opportunity, carrying General Ice’s head, slaughtered his way back.
