Tyrant Sky Martial Soul

Chapter 1315: Chapter 1315: Crazy Plan

The Moon Lady and Leng Mei left first.

After returning from Crime City, although they hadn’t said much, upon seeing those corpses, their anger likely matched Ling Xiao’s in intensity.

The Moon Lady managed to control her emotions, but Leng Mei was so furious that she wanted to charge off immediately and hunt down the so-called Sword Demon to shred him into pieces.

However, since Ling Xiao had decided to take vengeance himself, they chose to remain silent.

After the outsiders had left, Ling Xiao spoke: ”Senior Brother Wu, you’ve worked hard during this time. I’m afraid you’ll have to bear even more in the future. You know, I cannot stay in the Divine Capital for long periods. This time I’ve returned to remain until the Dragon-Phoenix selection begins, but much of my time will be spent in seclusion cultivating.”

”I understand.”

Wu Xiang nodded in agreement.

Ling Xiao entrusted the management of the Divine Capital and even the entire Heavenly Dynasty Empire to him—it was a sign of trust, of belief in his abilities. Naturally, Wu Xiang would not betray that trust.

”Alright, after today’s meeting, kindly assemble alchemists from across the nation—regardless of rank, from the most novice to the most accomplished—and select the finest one thousand. Offer them the highest rewards and then establish a pill refining factory in the Divine Capital!”

Ling Xiao continued, ”Our people are still too weak, and pills are the quickest shortcut to increasing strength.

Once the pill factory begins operations, you must focus on elevating the entire army’s power.”

”Your Majesty the Heavenly Emperor, I’m wondering if this scope might be too broad? After all, medicinal ingredients are limited. Would it not be better to select a batch of elites and prioritize their cultivation? Strength cannot be improved overnight, and pills don’t have the same effect on everyone.”

Ji Ning suggested thoughtfully.

”Great General, your suggestion has merit.”

Ling Xiao agreed readily: ”Alright, Great General, since you’re the expert in leading troops, I’ll entrust this selection of elites to you. Naturally, loyalty is the most important criterion, followed by talent. I’ve already prepared sixty thousand pills, of which fifty thousand are intended for Martial Artists in the Heavenly Man Realm.

The best candidates would be those at the Ninth Layer of the Heavenly Man Realm. If the numbers are insufficient, we can lower the requirement to the Seven Stars Realm within that domain—for those with exceptional talent, there’s about an eighty percent chance of raising their power by one or two realms.”

”Eighty percent!”

Everyone gasped audibly, stunned.

However, the shock wasn’t over yet.

”Moreover, the remaining ten thousand pills are meant for Cave Heaven Realm Martial Artists. As long as their talents aren’t lacking and they diligently absorb the medicinal effects, the likelihood of advancing a realm is likewise very high.

The Heavenly Dragon Continent, vast and boundless, is the largest of the thirteen landmasses. I believe there are still hidden geniuses waiting to be discovered. We can issue a summon across the land, calling them to the Divine Capital to serve the nation.”

Ling Xiao continued, ”This army composed of Cave Heaven and Heavenly Man Martial Artists will be named the Sky Dragon Army. You, my trusted individuals, will be its leaders. As for training protocols, they’ll be jointly determined by Great General Ji Ning and Qin Huo.

Remember, I want disciplined warriors, not drunken cowards. Training can be harsh; I’d rather they perish during training than disgrace themselves on the battlefield!

Assignments from the Chosen Academy, Sky Dynasty Academy, and Sky Martial Hall can be handed over to them. Without facing danger and mortal trials, they won’t truly grow.”

Ling Xiao had narrowly escaped death many times on his journey. Using his experience as evidence, he understood that without enduring storms, one cannot witness rainbows.

This held true for him, and equally so for others.

Flowers cultivated in a greenhouse would never withstand wild winds and turbulent waves.

Though the Divine Capital Guard Army, based on the Northern Desert Army, was already formidable, it wasn’t enough—they had to grow stronger still.

He wanted the entire Mysterious World to tremble at the mere mention of the Sky Dragon Army.

Ling Xiao’s words left Ji Ning and the others stirred with emotion.

”Haha, after so many years, I’d thought about doing something like this but never dared to try. Now, I can finally take a bold step forward!”

Ji Ning exclaimed excitedly.

”Senior Brother Wu, the matter of the pill factory must be completed as soon as possible. Whether this Sky Dragon Army can continually grow stronger will depend on the effectiveness of the pills produced from the factory.”

Ling Xiao then looked toward Wu Xiang and said, ”I have some blueprints here—puppet mechanisms designed for alchemy. During my time in Crime City, I asked Princess Yun Ya Cloud to help procure the necessary materials. The materials have now been shipped, so you must instruct the Ministry of Works to quickly craft them. With these tools, mass production of pills won’t be a problem.”

”Understood.”

Wu Xiang was already overwhelmed by the wave after wave of fresh challenges Ling Xiao presented, but instead of feeling exhausted, he was imbued with immense enthusiasm.

His own strength was still lacking.

Even though he had already reached the Second Cave Heaven Realm, during yesterday’s battle, he had been directly repelled by a single sword strike—a memory that continued to haunt him.

If he could achieve breakthroughs with the help of pills, he wouldn’t have to fear similar foes in the future.

”May this old man join the fun as well?”

At that moment, an elderly voice echoed through the palace.

”Why, it’s Your Majesty the Grand Holy Emperor! Normally, I wouldn’t dare trouble you with such matters. But if you’re willing to assist, it would be an honor!”

Ling Xiao looked toward the door to see an elderly figure already stepping into view.

This Grand Holy Emperor was the stabilizing force of the Divine Capital.

If he hadn’t been present, Wu Xiang might have been killed yesterday.

However, the man was known for his indifferent disposition and rarely involved himself in the affairs of the Heavenly Dynasty.

Moreover, as the former Grand Holy Emperor of the Sacred Dynasty, he harbored some reservations about the establishment of the Heavenly Dynasty Empire.

Though Ling Xiao wished for his assistance, he dared not ask.

Little did he expect that today, the elder would volunteer himself.

”Initially, I perceived your endeavor of founding the Heavenly Dynasty Empire as mere folly that wouldn’t last. But now, it seems that you genuinely wish to make this nation powerful, and you also have a plan in mind. Although the plan is daring, this old man wishes to join you in your bold enterprise.”

The Grand Holy Emperor had long been stuck at the Second Layer of the Yin-Yang Realm, unable to break through—a source of deep frustration for him.

But last night he had a dream, a visitation from his ancestors, who revealed that Ling Xiao might hold the key to his breakthrough.

In the Mysterious World, dreams and their symbolism were taken quite seriously.

Coupled with the series of extraordinary actions Ling Xiao had undertaken recently, the Grand Holy Emperor began to feel that the dream might hold true.

Despite currently being only a Martial Artist of the Heavenly Man Realm, Ling Xiao had managed to refine pills that could benefit Cave Heaven Realm Martial Artists.

Now the question arose—if Ling Xiao advanced to the Cave Heaven Realm himself, could he then refine pills capable of elevating Yin-Yang Realm Martial Artists?

If that came to be, wouldn’t his own cultivation level finally break through?

With all these considerations in mind, he concluded that collaborating with Ling Xiao might indeed be the right choice.

Rescuing Wu Xiang yesterday could also be seen as a gesture of goodwill.

”Rest assured, Elder. I will certainly not disappoint you!”

Ling Xiao smiled faintly. With both the Grand Holy Emperor and Xie Li around, the Divine Capital had nothing to fear anymore.
