Legend of Hogwarts (Harry Potter x League of Legends)

Mahoutokoro’s campus greenery was exceptionally well maintained. And because Allen and the others had deliberately come all the way to a remote corner of the grounds to find a quiet spot, the surrounding vegetation was even denser than usual.

For Allen, this was nothing but good news.

Although he had no idea what kind of madness possessed the fairly good-looking woman in front of him to come looking for trouble, one thing was certain—there was absolutely no way the two of them could have a proper conversation without fighting first. The oppressive aura she radiated was simply too overwhelming.

For a witch like her—someone both powerful and proud—explanations were completely useless. Not only would she go ”I’m not listening, I’m not listening,” she would also kindly demonstrate just how big her fists were.

So Allen seized the initiative.

Although a vine ambush looked a little... questionable in style—borderline resembling something unsuitable for readers under eighteen—it was undeniably effective. Especially when those vines were mixed with thick tree roots whose movement was slower, but whose toughness far exceeded that of ordinary plants.

If those vines managed to bind the enemy, a full chain of spells would follow immediately. Allen had no habit of showing mercy—especially when the other party had been hostile from the very beginning.

Just as the vines lashed rapidly toward their target, the woman calmly grasped a bead about the size of a lychee. In the next instant, several streaks of pale cyan magic burst forth from it. Under the effect of those spells, the once-resilient vines turned yellow and withered as if autumn grass had been swept by wildfire.

”Brother, you’re being naughty—”

Her face was full of smiles, not a trace of anger to be seen. Her eyes locked onto Allen, as though they could speak.

Yet what disappointed her was that her tried-and-true tactic failed for the first time.

The boy on the opposite side, protected by a purple magic shield, stared at her as if she were insane. His mouth was slightly open like everyone else’s—but instead of infatuation, there was unmistakable disgust on his face.

”Hey, hey, auntie, are you okay? Why are you suddenly acting all flirty?” Allen coughed lightly. ”Let me tell you, hitting on a minor under seventeen violates wizarding law. Our Professor Lockhart is a public sweetheart—why don’t you consider him instead?”

Allen’s choice of address and his words clearly enraged her. Dozens of the same spells that had shredded the vines were summoned again, then hurled at him all at once. Judging by their earlier power, she was truly furious now. If Allen took this head-on, even if he didn’t die, he would be crippled.

Just as the spells were about to hit him, a narrow, transparent wall—about the size of a half-length mirror—suddenly appeared in front of Allen’s smug grin. Magic seized control of the wind itself, shaping it into the raw material for that low wall.

Yasuo’s legacy was the way of the wind sword, he used the blade to command the wind. Allen had no particular talent with swords, but using magic to communicate with the wind was entirely feasible. Especially since he had splurged to acquire Janna’s legacy² as a complement.

The modified spell successfully blocked every attack, leaving the woman staring in shock. Those pale cyan spells—so sharp they seemed capable of slicing through anything—became utterly powerless before the thin wall of wind.

Seeing an attack that could have overwhelmed even an Auror so easily neutralized stunned her into brief disbelief. That was precisely why Allen had forced himself to use the Wind Wall instead of dodging with enhanced speed—despite his lack of proficiency.

In the instant she froze, the forest—still bathed in dusk moments before—plunged into total darkness. All light seemed to be swallowed whole. A piercing crow’s cry echoed, and a purple magical storm erupted from the shadows at a speed no one could react to in time.

At the same moment, Allen pressed his palm lightly against the ground. Countless tree roots burst forth, flickering in and out of sight.

Hundreds of flowers bloomed in an instant—only to wither just as quickly, leaving behind countless fruits of varying sizes. As the roots wrapped around their target, innumerable crow feathers shot toward the woman at the center of the magic. They were joined by seeds infused with various poisons, as well as encroaching vines.

In that fleeting moment of surprise, when the enemy was already dangerously close, struck at precisely the right time, executing an almost perfect combination attack with Allen.

The power of this layered spell formation exceeded even Allen’s expectations.

Damn it... I didn’t kill her, did I?

Allen had no sympathy for someone who came knocking just to start trouble—but he hated complications. He was confident he could defeat her, but if she wasn’t alone, things would get messy.

That was why, before killing her, he hoped she would at least have one breath left—enough for him to extract information about her base. After that, he could wipe it out in one clean sweep. Cut the weeds at the root, and future troubles disappear.

But as the magic ravaged that area, Allen’s expression slowly changed.

She hadn’t been left barely alive—she hadn’t suffered a fatal blow at all.

A pale blue glow gradually emerged from the center of the explosion, growing stronger and stronger, until even the combined magic of Allen and Hiyori could no longer suppress it. When all of Allen’s spells dissipated, a solid blue barrier enclosing the woman was revealed.

The figure inside looked utterly miserable. Wounds covered her body, and not a single patch of exposed skin was unscathed. Her clothes were torn to shreds, riddled with marks left by explosions.

Unfortunately, this was only temporary.

Bathed in that blue light, her severely injured body recovered as if under the effect of a top-tier healing spell. Blood stopped flowing, wounds closed at a visible rate, and her aura grew incomparably terrifying.

After trying several spells without breaking the shield, a sly grin spread across Allen’s face. Then he raised both hands high.

Of course, this was not surrender. As his arms lifted, a massive yellow crescent moon formed in his grasp—its target being the ground beneath the shield.

Since obtaining Ezreal’s legacy³, this was the first time he had used this ultimate technique. In theory, it could fly for several kilometers—but who would see it? With Allen’s level of magic, grazing an innocent student along the way could easily cause casualties. And when the enemy was close, he would never use a skill with such a long wind-up.

But now... hehe.
