A Sect from a Spirit Vein

Chapter 159: Chapter 129: Sapling Academy

On November 1st, Lu Qian once again convened the Council of Elders, selected an auspicious date and time, and scheduled the Yunshan Sect’s founding ceremony for noon on December 20th.

At that time, sects from all directions, including the overseeing Golden Core Major Sect Xuanguang Sect, will send envoys to witness the ceremony. The Yunshan Sect will use this founding ceremony as an opportunity to make its voice heard across Chongming County and even the Cangzhou region.

From this day forward, the Yunshan Sect is established here!

This founding ceremony will directly impact the Yunshan Sect’s status and image, and all the elders are deeply aware of its importance. Immediately after the meeting ended, they began intense and busy preparations according to the guidelines listed by Lu Qian.

Once the news was out, all the disciples were excited, looking forward to proudly declaring themselves as Yunshan Sect disciples after the founding ceremony. The entire Yunshan sect was putting in their full effort, working towards the goal of successfully holding the founding ceremony.

The other matters will naturally be prepared by the elders and disciples, which are not major issues. The most troubling matter for Lu Qian right now is the issue of the disciples.

Currently, there are only forty-seven cultivators in Bichao Mountain, including the Foundation Establishment Feather Scholar Gu Niqiang, Late-Stage Qi Cultivation Lu Qian and Master Xuan Ji, Mid-Stage Qi Cultivation Jiang Qingfeng, Tan Hong and his wife, Zheng Duan, and five other Inner Sect Disciples, and Early-Stage Qi Cultivation Baitao, Lin Le, and thirty-four other disciples.

On Lotus Peak, there are still thirty-nine Early-Stage Qi Cultivation practitioners from the former Chaosheng Sect, but they are still in a semi-confined state, nurturing their disposition and concentrating on cultivation, while also studying Yunshan Sect’s system, rules, and educational materials to earn their freedom. To ensure safety without any mishaps, Lu Qian plans to initiate tasks and trials after the founding ceremony, gradually integrating them into the sect.

Visitors from all sides coming to observe will inevitably make an overall assessment of the Yunshan Sect. For the Yunshan Sect to make a name for itself at the founding ceremony, it must also showcase its strength.

If the visitors see only these forty-seven cultivators, Yunshan Sect’s weakest aspect would be exposed, leading to endless troubles in the future, and changes in the surrounding situation might happen overnight.

A solution is necessary, but how can the disciples’ cultivation levels change within these fifty days, and what to do...

After several more days, Lu Qian’s hands finally healed. Over the past half month, he focused on healing as the priority, and most of the sect’s affairs were handled by the elders. According to the Yunshan Sect’s system and rules, the elders managed all kinds of affairs in an orderly fashion without any issues.

By the looks of it, the original intention of establishing the system has been largely achieved. It seems that in the future, I should focus on the bigger picture and act as the sect leader who guides the overall direction, helping the elders when they are unable to make decisions. With the remaining time, I should pay more attention to my own cultivation.

After the founding ceremony, I’ll start seclusion and dedicate myself to serious cultivation. Meanwhile, the main focus should be on comprehending the ”Wave Array Secret Manual,” striving to reach the realm of ”Mirror Lake” as soon as possible.

Now free from injury in the small courtyard, Lu Qian, in an excellent mood, wandered around Bichao Mountain to see how the disciples were doing.

He came to the front of a classroom. This classroom is specifically for the newly inducted junior cultivators, formerly known as Spirit Seeds, where they begin their basic studies. Unlike other disciples who joined halfway, they are like blank slates, starting from learning to read and write, progressing gradually, step by step.

At the same time, they will also become the most pure, loyal Yunshan disciples, with the name Yunshan Sect accompanying their entire cultivation journey, deeply engraved in their divine souls. Therefore, Lu Qian and the Yunshan Sect’s management core hold high hopes for them.

As the Transmission Elder, Tan Hong is especially dedicated. Besides giving collective lessons for Inner and Outer Sect Disciples every five days, he spends most of his time here training this group of little monkeys.

Just as he reached the school gate, Lu Qian saw Jiang Baitao pouting, standing sullenly at the entrance, facing the wall, and he couldn’t help but laugh.

The familiar laughter made Jiang Baitao turn around instantly, her face shifting from cloudy to clear as she shouted, ”Sect Leader Senior Brother!”

With that, the little girl jumped up and threw herself onto Lu Qian.

Lu Qian patted her little head, laughing, ”Taotao, what trouble have you caused again to receive punishment?”

Baitao was about to complain, but Tan Hong had already heard the noise, hurriedly coming out to greet, ”How does the Sect Leader have time to visit?”

”Just wandering around, also checking on how these young disciples are doing in their studies,” Lu Qian replied, returning the courtesy.

Seeing Baitao clinging to Lu Qian, Tan Hong helplessly said, ”Everyone else is fine, just Baitao being too naughty. During today’s routine test, this little girl thought she knew it all and stopped writing to cause trouble, so I punished her.”

Faced with this public scolding, Baitao’s face turned bright red with embarrassment. Everyone up and down Bichao Mountain knew that her sister was Elder Jiang, Jiang Qingfeng, who had a close relationship with the Sect Leader, and she was pampered by the Sect Leader. Known in the sect as the only Inner Sect Jia-Class Disciple, wherever she went, everyone doted on her.

Now, with the situation stabilized and no more tension from fleeing, Baitao’s mischievous and playful side was fully unleashed. Jiang Qingfeng was busy with sect affairs and personal cultivation all day, having no time to control her. As a result, Baitao, like a wild horse out of the stable, frolicked around every day, endlessly joyful.

Only Tan Hong treated everyone equally, always serious, making Baitao jittery. As head of transmission and punishment elder, he strictly managed Baitao, making her cower like a mouse seeing a cat whenever caught misbehaving.

But now, running into Lu Qian, Baitao quickly found her savior, looking up at Lu Qian with big, watery eyes, like an abandoned puppy.

Lu Qian scolded her briefly, and she repeatedly promised not to do it again. Lu Qian relented, ”Let Taotao go back and finish her test paper.”

Since the Sect Leader had spoken, Tan Hong naturally obeyed, so Baitao cheered and rushed back into the classroom, grabbing her pen and writing happily.

Lu Qian and Tan Hong stood by the back door, observing the young disciples’ test-taking conditions.

Earlier, with their conversation outside and Baitao making a racket, naturally, the disciples inside the classroom knew that the Sect Leader had come.

These new disciples had been in the sect for nearly a month. During this time, they gained a basic understanding of the cultivation world and had nearly memorized Yunshan Sect’s rules and system. Naturally, they had an impression of the term ”Sect Leader.”

At present, many disciples were sneaking glances at Lu Qian cautiously.

Seeing this, Tan Hong’s face darkened, about to scold, but Lu Qian stopped him. Smiling, Lu Qian felt that the scene resembled a modern classroom, with himself being the principal observing the class.

Only two remained unmoved.

One was Li Da, sitting upright, writing swiftly without pause.

The other was Wang Ruoyu, who lay entirely flat on the test paper, chewing on the pen tip, staring hard at the words on the paper.
