My Hidden Heresy Skill Forged an SSS-Ranked Harem for Infinite Points

Ryan did not immediately respond to Ilbert’s bold and direct question. Silence took over the large stone plaza for several seconds as the demon’s words echoed in the air.

Prompted by the infernal demon’s unusual question, Ryan couldn’t help but vividly remember the past. He clearly recalled the conversation he had with Udriela in the massive white room.

’She also asked a very similar question back then.’

Ryan let out a heavy sigh, preparing his mind to give a clear and neutral answer to the demons.

But right at that precise moment, before he could utter a single word, a massive wave of magical wind appeared out of nowhere. The immense blast of pure air struck the demon who had just asked the question.

The violent wind magic propelled Ilbert backward with devastating force. The demon was sent flying rapidly through the air, completely unable to resist the sudden, brutal attack.

Ilbert smashed heavily against one of the thick stone columns in the plaza. The demon’s body crashed right through it, shattering the solid rock into hundreds of pieces, and then violently slammed into a wall of the town leader’s massive house.

The immense magical momentum carried him right through that second stone wall as well. The demon’s silhouette disappeared completely inside the house amidst a thick cloud of dust and large debris.

Astonished, no one else present in the plaza dared to speak or move. The demon civilians backed away in sheer terror upon witnessing the dragon’s brutal and swift attack.

”My young master already made it very clear to you, or were you not paying attention? He issued a direct order. He is not here to answer stupid questions from trash like you.”

Lise’s voice echoed throughout the silent plaza, her tone brimming with pure anger. She glared at Elric and Firmin, her large bicolored eyes shining with uncontrollable fury.

Ryan remained completely expressionless in the face of the sudden, violent situation. He made no physical move to stop Lise or to help the injured demon lying among the rubble of the house.

And Beatrice beside him, although her body posture made her seem very relaxed and calm, was actually paying close attention to everything. The young infernal monitored every slight movement from the demons around her in case they attempted a surprise group attack.

’In an ordinary situation, I’d think Lise went a bit too far. But what the hell do they exactly expect from me here? I mean, I’m not a fucking hero. And I couldn’t care less about the old prejudices everyone holds in this long, millennial war. Even if I ended up involved in certain conflicts, I don’t intend to get dragged into absurd battles with humans or demons just to play a role.’

Ryan analyzed his own position as a human and a demon king in this strange world full of magic and monsters.

”I am so sorry, Lady Lise, Demon King Ryan,” Elric quickly intervened, trying to calm the dragon’s murderous fury. The city leader bowed his head with deep submission and evident terror.

”It wasn’t his intention to offend you like that, I assure you. It’s just that we are very worried about the current situation of the entire Kowarre nation.”

”Explain yourself,” Ryan said in a very cold and sharp voice, wanting to hear the true, logical reasons behind the fear of these three high-level demons.

Elric cleared his throat before speaking, looking quite nervous under Ryan’s piercing gaze.

”It’s because we know full well that the former demon king Rigal held Demon King Rohan’s son hostage in his castle. And so far, absolutely nothing is known about what has been done with him now that you have taken Demon King Rigal’s place.”

Elric glanced at the frightened civilians around him for a brief second to make sure no one panicked. He then swallowed hard before continuing his explanation.

”And that is exactly why we are so worried about what might happen soon. We don’t know what your intentions are, Your Majesty, regarding that demon king’s son who is now in your immense power.”

Firmin nodded vigorously, supporting his leader’s sincere words. Elric continued speaking without pause.

”We recently received highly reliable reports that Demon King Rohan might be forming a grand alliance with the immortal demon queen, Juba.”

”Juba? Is she really immortal?” Ryan asked with great curiosity in his tone, intrigued by the peculiar magical existence of this unknown demon queen.

Before Elric could answer Ryan’s direct question, Lise immediately intervened to clarify the matter for her leader.

”She is not, young master. She was given that ridiculous nickname because, in some strange way, even if her body is completely destroyed, she manages to come back to life. But the truth later came out. She doesn’t use her real body to fight her enemies directly. She is an extremely cunning woman, and of course, her technique isn’t something easily imitated.”

Lise explained with deep disdain and a lack of respect in her voice.

Elric nodded, confirming the valuable information the dragon had just provided. Then the city leader continued with his detailed report.

”We know on good authority that Rohan sent one of his sons to meet with her in her territory, and we don’t understand the exact reason for that visit. But it’s very possible they are planning an alliance. Now that Demon Queen Ophelia officially has an alliance with you, Demon King Ryan, the other demon kings are highly agitated.”

Elric looked at Ryan with evident concern reflected on his face.

’I suppose that makes sense,’ Ryan thought, analyzing the enormous political impact his victory had caused on the rest of the world and its rulers.

’I must keep in mind that from now on, I need to worry about the movements of other powerful demon kings, not just the church. Though demon kings wouldn’t act rashly. It would be best to solve this particular problem as soon as possible to avoid a conflict.’

Ryan thought, exhaustively evaluating all the vital new information he had just received in the plaza.

’I completely agree with that, young master. It would be very prudent to wrap up that matter quickly,’ Lise replied through their mental link, reading Ryan’s thoughts with crystal clarity.

Ryan then slowly turned around to face the two infernal leaders who were still standing.

”Don’t worry about that, Elric. At no point have I planned to start a war with Demon King Rohan. In fact, the delicate matter of his son is something that is already on the verge of being resolved peacefully.”

Ryan spoke firmly to calm the great fears of the city’s population. Faced with such a direct and revealing answer, Elric and Firmin looked straight into Ryan’s large eyes. The two demons saw the absolute certainty and truth in his words.

They then looked at Lise with doubt. The dragon nodded affirmatively, fully backing up Ryan’s words.

Immediately, their tense faces changed completely. The leaders felt an enormous sense of relief in their chests upon realizing that their new king wouldn’t drag them into a sudden and bloody war.

Ryan made his true intentions very clear in the city. The demons present followed his orders without hesitating for another second.

’Lise, we’ve accomplished our main task here. I will head straight back to the castle with Beatrice. You go immediately to Demon King Rohan’s territory. I want you to agree with him that I am willing to hand his son back home. But he’ll have to be prepared to negotiate with me. After all, with this, he already owes me a couple of favors.’

Ryan ordered through their mental link, establishing the next steps of his plan.

’As you command, my dear master,’ Lise replied through their mental connection with deep respect and readiness to carry out the mission.

Then, pushing off hard with her legs, she quickly flew off into the gray sky. Ryan used his own power and immediately flew out of the plaza, taking Beatrice with him through the air.

Every single demon in the plaza watched in complete silence. They stared in astonishment as Ryan and Lise flew off in completely opposite directions and disappeared into the distance among the dark clouds.

After a few long seconds of processing the demon king’s visit, they slowly retreated from the grand plaza to return to their routines.

Ilbert was still lying on the hard floor inside the destroyed house where Lise had thrown him with her magic. His pale face was covered in fresh blood and a lot of dust.

”Ilbert, are you still alive in there?” Elric asked, entering the house through the large hole in the stone wall and standing right in front of his companion.

”Yes, but for a moment I thought I was going to die,” Ilbert answered, coughing up some dust from his aching lungs. He tried to sit up on the floor.

”What do you really think of the new demon king, Ryan?” Firmin asked, slowly approaching them. He looked at the city leader and the fallen Ilbert amidst the stone rubble.

”What do I think? There’s no doubt about it,” Ilbert said from the floor, picking up a small, broken stone from among the large debris of the shattered wall.

”Those two incredibly strong women follow Demon King Ryan of their own free will. There is absolutely no indication that they are being manipulated.”

”Yes. Besides, that young demon standing by his side the whole time was an infernal with the rare demon king factor,” Elric commented, cold sweat running down his forehead as he thought about it.

”When Lise suddenly attacked you, I clearly saw the young demon’s darkness manifestation take the form of small birds all around the plaza. If we had tried to oppose him, all three of us would have died instantly.”

”I believe this new human demon king...” Ilbert murmured, looking at the massive hole in the wall.

”Could be someone very interesting for the future of this world.”
