My Hidden Heresy Skill Forged an SSS-Ranked Harem for Infinite Points

Ryan walked up to the entrance of the wooden cabin and stopped right at the edge of the doorway. The agitated wind blew forcefully from the outside, making his dark clothes and his hair flutter violently.

He remained in silence for a few seconds observing the mountain landscape, processing all the information he had just received regarding the sacrifice and the girl.

Ophelia also stood up from the wooden bench where she had been sitting. She walked at a calm pace, stepping closer to him, and while Ryan still had his back turned to her, the demon queen added.

”I am completely sure that that supposed awakening as a demon king they offered to Liz was pure nonsense.” Ophelia commented, with a tone of voice that mixed with the sound of the wind.

”But what I do believe is that the defective body of the demon king’s daughter is something the deity can use to incarnate in this world.” She explained with utter seriousness, crossing her arms.

”And I believe that is exactly what they plan to achieve by manipulating Rigal.”

Ryan turned around slowly to observe Ophelia’s expression directly.

Up until now at every moment, ever since their first encounter, she had always been sarcastic and quite playful when talking to him. She usually displayed a relaxed attitude of superiority.

However, whenever she had to touch upon these specific topics regarding the deity, or regarding her own plans to overthrow Demon King Rigal, her attitude completely changed.

At least in that moment, the woman maintained a posture of complete seriousness that was clearly reflected in her intense gaze.

’Everything she said makes sense...’ Ryan thought, rapidly analyzing the data and cross-referencing the information with his own experiences on the other continent.

’Assuming that everything she just recounted is true, I suppose that was the main reason. The exact motive as to why Rigal’s demons were prowling around Erhes Valley, right when we went to search for materials for the adventurer’s guild.’

He raised his right hand up to face level. He observed the dark material of his combat gloves and the image of his intense fight on that demonic continent came to his mind immediately.

’So, Demon King Rigal had ordered his troops to search for Demon King Rohan’s daughter throughout that entire territory.’ Ryan deduced in silence, connecting the threads of the pursuit and the movements of the demons.

’But if Rigal found out so soon that she disappeared from the castle, the travel times of the information simply do not add up.’ Ryan evaluated, slightly furrowing his brow.

The continent was far too large for news to travel so quickly from one territory to another in a casual manner. Especially if it was about the escape of someone so important.

’That must mean that Demon King Rigal also has infiltrators spying directly within Rohan’s lands.’

Once he reached that conclusion, Ryan lowered his hand and looked her directly in the eyes, completely abandoning his relaxed posture.

”You are much more cunning than I thought.” Ryan told Ophelia, with a monotonous tone of voice.

”What do you mean by that?” She responded, blinking a couple of times with a clear tone of uncertainty at his sudden comment.

Ryan did not hesitate to expose the demon queen’s tactic immediately.

”You insisted very much on bringing me to this secluded place on the mountain, far away from your castle and your servants.” Ryan argued. ”And you kept Janina close by on the outside so that she would have the entire area under surveillance.”

He took a short step forward, shortening the distance between the two of them just a little bit.

”You did all of this to avoid having Demon King Rigal’s spies listen to us talking about your plans. Isn’t that right?”

Ophelia did not respond immediately. She simply looked at him with utmost seriousness while the mountain wind continued to blow between them. Her lips pressed together for a second.

But her expression suddenly changed, losing all the accumulated tension. A huge smile began to form on her face, showing great amusement at the situation.

Then, she took a step forward and gently smacked Ryan’s back with the palm of her hand while smiling eagerly.

”Wow, so you deduced it just from what I recounted?” Ophelia commented, looking genuinely surprised and lively. ”I thought you wouldn’t be paying attention to the details of the chat.”

She adjusted her dark dress a bit and continued talking.

”You quickly discovered that there are spies in Rohan’s territory, and you deduced that here in my lands there are spies as well.” The woman pointed out. ”But not only that, you directly assumed that I am already aware of that infiltration.”

”Am I mistaken perhaps?” Ryan asked, standing firm in his position without flinching at the friendly pat on his back.

She laughed heartily. She let out a spontaneous and very loud laugh that echoed through the cabin, similar to the one she had let out on the throne in her castle minutes ago.

”You are not mistaken at all.” She responded after calming her laughter and catching her breath. ”Trying to hunt down the stealth skills of those spies is a real problem.”

”They know how to hide very well, but they could not deceive Janina’s sense of smell.” The demon queen explained, pointing toward the forest outside where the dragoness was. ”Dragons have highly acute senses.”

”None of my own guards or servants would be here, in this place right now.” She assured. ”If there really were a demon hiding nearby, Janina would smell him and kill him on the spot.”

She stepped a little closer to him and nudged him lightly with her shoulder, in a surprisingly casual gesture that broke the little space remaining between them.

”I must admit that you interest me more now, you are not just a simple mass of muscle without a brain.” She said with a smile, while stepping away and taking a few steps toward the center of the room.

Then she turned toward him again in a rapid motion. The air current entered through the wooden door, and the wind hit her right in the face, tossing all of her long white hair around her.

”Ryan, whatever the deity’s final objective may be, it will benefit both you and me to stop their plans right now.” Her voice took on that dark nuance once again, eliminating the playful tone.

”I am not doing this because I know Demon King Rohan. Ever since we became formal demon kings, we haven’t spoken to each other a single time.”

Ophelia crossed her arms for a moment, looking imposing in the middle of the cabin.

”And the truth is that I do not care in the slightest about what happens to him or his daughter; it is all the same to me if they live or die, but...”

She slowly uncrossed her arms and extended her open hand directly toward Ryan, leaving it suspended in the air waiting for a deal.

”If he achieves his objective, he could acquire enough power to destroy us all without any effort.” Ophelia’s gaze was intense, direct, and laden with murderous intent.

”Therefore, I will ask you one more time. Will you ally yourself with me to kill that scum?”
