My Hidden Heresy Skill Forged an SSS-Ranked Harem for Infinite Points

Now that Ryan had returned to the village after defeating the holy knights.

The commotion he encountered was over a matter the elves had been planning without consulting him at all.

Even though he had proclaimed himself King during the battle.

Up until now, he hadn’t taken it that seriously.

Furthermore, there was something he couldn’t help but ask himself.

What did being a king actually imply?

Protecting the villagers?

Or sitting on a throne and simply giving orders with arrogance?

The latter was something that always bothered him about hierarchies.

Whether they were demon kings or a deity.

Now that he was standing before the crowd of elves and his entire party.

Irina, very shy, took a step forward.

”P... Please, Kenia! This isn’t the place to talk about that.”

The old woman was about to speak but was interrupted.

”Tsk.” Helen clicked her tongue, intimidating Irina.

Then she planted herself firmly in front of her, invading her personal space.

”You’ve made some very stupid plans, so let’s get one thing straight right now,” Helen grumbled with a scowl.

Then she continued speaking, pointing her finger at Irina.

”You’d better not get ahead of yourself, little elf. If anyone is going to marry Ryan, it’ll be me. I’ll be the first wife!”

Mirian frowned.

”And since when do you get to decide that, dear Helen?”

Beatrice positioned herself behind Ryan.

She really didn’t want to get involved in whatever might happen.

Then Mirian continued with a cutting remark.

”If we had to choose an order, then I would be the first. Is that clear?”

Ryan pressed three fingers against his forehead.

’How the hell did this end up like this?’

”Hey, girls, calm down,” the old man said.

”You shut it, you senile old man. You aren’t marrying Irina off to Ryan.”

Then the old woman Kenia approached.

”Ha ha ha, I see you are more passionate than I thought. But, now, now, we got ahead of ourselves. Even so, I don’t think there will be any problems. You see, there is no elven law that prevents Ryan from marrying all five.”

”All five?” Karol murmured.

”Yes, I don’t think young Ryan would want to leave you out, or that beautiful young lady,” she said, pointing to Beatrice, who was hiding behind Ryan.

”In that case, I have no problem with it. But let’s make it clear right now: I will be the first. I’ll be his first wife, then Mirian, then Karol...” She looked at Ryan.

”Are you okay with that, Ryan? Then you can marry Irina and Beatrice.”

She crossed her arms and looked away, averting her eyes.

”But only until then, okay?”

Mirian approached Helen and grabbed her by the shoulders; Helen remained with her arms crossed and was then shaken vigorously.

With a scowl and in a sharp, high-pitched tone, she commented while shaking her shoulders.

”Hey, hey, don’t you think you’re being a bit too possessive? Why do you have to be the first?”

Helen kept her gaze averted.

”Leave me alone. That’s what I’ve decided.”

Mirian let her go.

Then she sighed.

”There’s no point in arguing with you... even so, I suppose I don’t mind being the second wife.”

At that very moment, out of all of them, the ones who seemed the least calm were Irina and Beatrice. It almost seemed as if their minds were elsewhere. They were completely red in the face.

”What the hell... we have so many problems, and yet we’re deciding who gets to marry me first? Aren’t you all acting way too calm?” Ryan suddenly spoke up, his expression showing annoyance as he maintained his scowl.

”But Ryan...” Helen commented.

”I’m not angry, don’t worry. It’s just that you’re behaving as if you’ve forgotten the problems we’re facing. Right now, dealing with those should be our priority.”

He approached the old man and Kenia.

”And you two were the ones who started all of this, weren’t you? I never agreed to be the King. We said we’d talk about it when I returned.”

Ryan placed his hand behind his neck.

”Ah, you know what, forget it. I will be the King. So, my first order: we will have an urgent meeting. There is a lot to discuss. And someone, bring the alchemist as well.”

”Yes, so be it, Your Majesty.”

Ryan looked at one of the assembled soldiers.

”You, gather all the elves you can. There are some massive trenches in the forest. Toss the bodies of the dead in there, but first, check for any relics or rare weapons they might have. Then burn the bodies and seal those holes.”

”Yes, sir!”

It seemed that Ryan was the only one aware of all the problems they had, or perhaps they were relying far too much on him.

But at least he had made a decision now.

Although he still couldn’t say he knew what being a King implied.

But, at least he knew what he wanted to do with high priority.

And that is to protect the village at all costs.

...

After the King gave the order, everyone went as commanded.

Someone was sent to find the alchemist, and the soldiers headed for the forest.

And Ryan and his group entered the meeting hall with the elders.

Ryan sat at the head of the table, just as he had on the previous occasion.

But this time, he was conscious of his position.

”I want to make something clear. Currently, in this territory, we are an easy target for our enemies, and we have many of those.”

He looked at everyone in the room.

Then he continued.

”We just dealt with two S-rank knights. But more could come. No... in fact, many more will obviously come. On top of that, more demons might arrive soon, and they likely won’t just be principalities anymore.”

His tone of voice was serious, and no one dared to interrupt him.

”I’ve been thinking about it a lot and I think we need to move...”

”What? Move? But how will we do that?” one of the elders asked.

”Silence!” Kenia shouted. ”Let His Majesty continue.”

Ryan spoke after a few seconds.

”There must be a way to move this portal, right? I mean, what we need to move is the entrance to the village. Staying in this forest—which the elves, the demons, and the Church already know about—is like inviting our enemies to come and attack us.”

”But it’s not that easy, young Ryan... if we were to attempt something like that, we might close the portal forever.”

”Excuse me...” a girl’s voice resonated from behind.

”Forgive me for being late...”

Ryan looked at her.

”Are you the alchemist?”

”Yes, young Ryan... sorry, I mean... Your Majesty,” she replied shyly.

”Don’t worry about it. Come closer. We’re discussing how to move the portal to another location.”

”Yes... I heard as I came in, and... I believe there is a way to do it...”
