The sun was beginning to set when Noah arrived at the agreed spot.

It was a quiet area behind one of the high school buildings where there weren’t many students around, exactly as he wanted.

He slipped a hand into his pocket and checked for the fifth time that the key was still there.

‘Good.’

He just had to hand it over, nothing more.

He heard footsteps approaching, and when he looked up, he saw Yume had just arrived.

She had spent several minutes mentally preparing for this meeting, but none of the possible outcomes had prepared her for what she was feeling now, because Noah was there, waiting just for her.

‘He’s waiting for me.’

Her heart began to race.

‘He’s been waiting for me all this time.’

Noah raised a hand.

“Hey.”

Yume almost forgot how to speak.

“H-Hey!”

Noah blinked.

‘Why does she look so nervous?’

“Thanks for coming.”

Yume felt something explode inside her head.

‘He thanked me for coming… because he wanted to see me.’

A miniature version of Yume appeared inside her imagination, wearing a judge’s robe.

“Objection, maybe he’s just being polite.”

Another version appeared immediately.

“Overruled!”

She pointed at Noah.

“He could have given it to her tomorrow!”

The judge fell silent and the second Yume smiled.

“But he decided to see her after school!”

The judge adjusted a pair of imaginary glasses.

“Proceed.”

Meanwhile, in reality, Noah still had no idea what was going on.

“Are you okay?”

“Yeah!”

“Good.”

With the following silence, Noah started to feel awkward.

He had never been good at starting conversations, much less with someone who looked like she was about to explode.

‘Just hand over the key and end this.’

Yume watched as Noah seemed to search for the right words.

‘He’s nervous.’

Her heart raced again.

‘He’s nervous because he’s about to confess!’

The two imaginary Yumes nodded.

“That seems pretty likely.”

“I agree.”

Noah took a deep breath.

“I wanted to talk to you about something important…”

Yume stopped hearing the rest of the universe.

‘Important… important… important…’

The word kept bouncing around inside her head.

A third Yume appeared, this one carrying a notebook.

“Objective analysis.”

She opened the notebook.

“He asked her to meet after school.”

She flipped a page.

“He said it was important.”

She flipped another page.

“He’s nervous.”

She closed the notebook.

“The diagnosis is clear.”

The other two Yumes leaned forward.

“What is it?”

“He wants sex.”

The three of them started clapping.

Meanwhile, Noah remained completely oblivious.

“What I’m about to say might sound strange.”

Yume stopped breathing.

‘Here it comes… here it comes… here it comes.’

“But I need you to trust me.”

Yume froze and her face turned red.

The three imaginary Yumes fell to the floor.

“IT’S A CONFESSION!”

“HE WANTS SEX!”

Noah watched as Yume stood completely still.

‘Is something wrong with her?’

“Yume?”

“I trust you more than anyone else in the world!”

“Huh?”

“I mean…”

Yume tried to regain her composure.

“I’m listening.”

Noah nodded.

‘Perfect.’

That would make things easier, so he took the key out of his pocket and Yume stared at the object.

She blinked.

‘A gift?’

The three imaginary Yumes stopped shouting.

Now they were taking notes.

“He gave her a gift.”

“Interesting.”

“Extremely interesting.”

Noah extended his hand as he began to blush.

“This is for you.”

Yume felt her heart nearly stop.

‘He gave me a gift.’

The imaginary Yumes started running in circles.

“Level up!”

“Sex two!”

“For me?”

“Yes.”

Noah nodded.

“It’s yours.”

Yume took the key with both hands, looked at it, and came to the conclusion that it was pretty.

It also seemed important, but for a few seconds she felt a small pang of disappointment.

‘Is it just a gift?’

The imaginary Yumes grew thoughtful.

“Maybe we got ahead of ourselves.”

“Perhaps.”

“No sex two.”

Noah smiled in relief.

‘Perfect.’

Mission accomplished. Now he just had to leave, but then something happened.

The key began to glow.

Noah’s eyes widened.

“Huh?”

Yume looked down and the light grew brighter.

“What’s happening?”

The key rose by itself, spun in the air, and energy began to spread around Yume.

Noah took a step back.

‘It’s working!’

His heart began to race because he partly recognized the scene and had been waiting for this moment.

The light completely enveloped Yume, who was also surprised.

“Noah?”

“I think…”

Noah didn’t finish the sentence and the energy exploded around her.

Yume disappeared momentarily inside the light. When she became visible again, her clothes had changed, her hair looked brighter, and a soft energy surrounded her.

Noah stood frozen, because Yume’s first transformation was happening right before his eyes.

The exact scene he had imagined countless times was completely real.

“No way…”

Yume looked at her own hands.

“What happened?”

Noah kept staring at her with wide eyes, unable to look away.

Yume noticed the expression, her heart raced again, and the imaginary Yumes reappeared.

One of them pointed at Noah.

“Look at him.”

Another nodded.

“He can’t stop staring at you.”

The third began to cry.

“Today we’re having sex two.”

Noah didn’t notice any of that because he was too excited.

‘That’s her, it really is her!’

For the first time since arriving in this world, he felt something had gone exactly as he remembered.

Yume looked into Noah’s eyes, which seemed bright as if he were excited, happy, and seeing something incredible.

The imaginary Yumes started crying too.

“He confirmed it.”

“What did he confirm?”

“That he’s completely in love… and that he wants you to fuck him hard…”

Yume felt the temperature of her face rise.

“Noah?”

Noah finally reacted.

“You did it!”

“Huh?”

“I mean…”

He cleared his throat.

“Never mind.”

Yume only heard the first part.

‘You did it?’

The three Yumes hugged each other.

“He’s proud of us!”

“We’re successful girlfriends!”

“The relationship is progressing correctly!”

The judge returned.

She slammed an imaginary gavel on a desk.

“After reviewing all the evidence.”

The others fell silent.

“This court declares that Noah Reed is in love with you.”

Gavel strike.

“Final verdict.”

Gavel strike.

“Additionally, there is a high probability of marriage.”

Gavel strike.

“And a moderate probability of meeting his mothers soon.”

Yume nearly shut down.

Meanwhile, Noah was thinking something completely different.

‘Perfect. Now that Yume has her powers, the canon stays alive.’

For the first time in several days he felt relief.

He didn’t know how much the future would change or what else could go wrong, but at least one important piece was still in place, and that was enough.

Yume pressed the key against her chest.

Noah saw the gesture.

“You should keep it safe.”

“Yeah.”

‘I’ll treasure this memory forever.’

“It’s probably important.”

“Very.”

‘It’s our first couple’s gift.’

Noah nodded.

“Then I think I’m done here.”

Yume froze and the imaginary Yumes stopped moving.

“What does that mean!?”

“Is he leaving?”

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No!”

“Yes!”

Yume felt a small sting of disappointment, but then she reached a conclusion.

‘Of course, we’re still at the beginning and relationships need to progress slowly.’

She nodded to herself.

To her it was logical. Very logical.

Noah smiled.

“See you tomorrow.”

Yume felt her heart race again.

‘See you tomorrow?’

The imaginary Yumes began celebrating once more.

“He wants to see her again!”

“The relationship continues!”

“Excellent work, team!”

Noah started walking away completely satisfied and convinced that the interaction had been simple, with no misunderstandings or consequences.

Yume watched him leave with the key clutched tightly in her hands, her face completely red, and one single conclusion occupying her entire mind.

‘I definitely have to make a good impression when I meet his mothers.’
