Chapter 1802: Chapter 1802: Sikong Returns to the City, Silent and Unseen

Listening to Sikong Jing’s words, a bitter smile gradually appeared on Shi Douxing’s cold and aged face.

He knew well that he couldn’t blame Sikong Jing for this. Three days ago, following Sikong Jing’s advisement, Shi Douxing had already discovered privately that the Qianyuan Holy Demon Hall was silently gathering forces.

But this battle was too terrifying; the Nidao Sect might face utter annihilation at any moment.

Yet, not fighting would lead to inevitable destruction because they lacked the qualifications to negotiate or even submit to the Qianwang Holy Tower.

To put it bluntly, the Nidao Sect was unlucky, dragged into the mess.

The real reason was not Sikong Jing, but the Willow Leaf Saint Manor had acquired the Qianyuan Soldier Fragment, and Su Old Demon’s family was involved.

”Alas, whether we win or lose this battle, our Nidao Sect might find survival extremely unlikely.”

After a while, Shi Douxing couldn’t help but sigh.

If defeated, they would surely be wiped out; if victorious, the Qianwang Holy Tower would likely attempt to eliminate them for thwarting their grand plan.

Sikong Jing nodded lightly and then added, ”But fighting gives us a chance to survive; not fighting leads only to death. Moreover, Sect Master Shi need not worry excessively. If we win, the Qianwang Holy Tower will first aim to destroy my Overlord Commerce.”

Upon hearing these words, Shi Douxing understood.

In truth, he was merely lamenting the turbulent times and had no intention of refusal.

”Sect Master Shi, we must remain in constant contact from now on, and I hope you can accept my command.”

Sikong Jing came to the Nidao Sect to seek command authority over them.

He wanted Shi Douxing and the Nidao Sect to fully accept his directives.

If the Willow Leaf Saint Manor and Nidao Sect both accepted his orders, then the entire Willow Leaf City Region would fall under Sikong Jing’s complete control, causing other medium to small forces to rally around him as soldiers.

Listening to Sikong Jing’s words, Shi Douxing again closed his eyes deeply.

The next moment, he slowly asked, ”The destruction of Willow Leaf Holy Tomb must be the work of someone from the Holy Martial Stage, correct? What exactly does your Overlord Commerce have to counter a Holy Martial Stage expert?”

Regarding the events at the Willow Leaf Holy Tomb, Sikong Jing had not yet informed Shi Douxing, leading to his inquiry.

In response, Sikong Jing stared deeply at Shi Douxing and replied, ”We, Overlord Commerce, have someone in the Holy Martial Stage.”

Upon hearing this, Shi Douxing’s whole body slightly trembled, his eyes opened wide.

He then agreed without any hesitation, willing to accept Sikong Jing and Overlord Commerce’s command...

Subsequently, Sikong Jing informed Shi Douxing of the necessity of feigning his death, to which Shi Douxing also agreed to keep it concealed.

That night, Sikong Jing deliberated various plans with Shi Douxing.

Not until dawn of the next day did Sikong Jing quietly depart, his direction naturally being Willow Leaf City.

As he watched Sikong Jing leave, Shi Douxing murmured, ”Brother Su, your grandson-in-law seems even more formidable than you.”

The comparison of Su Beiheng’s youthful arrival at Willow Leaf Saint Manor with Sikong Jing’s actions left Shi Douxing feeling uneasy.

Su Beiheng came directly to claim a bride, while Sikong Jing managed to grip the Willow Leaf Saint Manor tightly.

Not pondering further, Shi Douxing suddenly issued an order: ”Come forth, summon all our affiliate forces and have them bring their core personnel to Nidao City. I intend to personally teach them the Hundred Dominating Souls Soldier Killing Array.”

Once this command was heard, Nidao Sect experts promptly appeared.

At this point, one of Shi Douxing’s disciples asked dumbfoundedly, ”Master, transmitting the Hundred Dominating Souls Soldier Killing Array to others without the consent of Overlord Commerce seems inappropriate and may make them unforgivably angry.”

Privately teaching the Hundred-man Soldier Killing Formation would incur Overlord Commerce’s wrath...

However, Shi Douxing coldly retorted, ”No need for words, my mind is made up.”

”Now that the Willow Leaf Holy Tomb has been destroyed, the Soul Dominator’s Heir might not return.”

”Thus, the Willow Leaf Saint Manor faces immense pressure from all sides, presenting a superb chance for our Nidao Sect to rise. We must seize the correct moment to destroy the Willow Leaf Saint Manor and capture Willow Leaf City.”

”Should Overlord Commerce blame us, we’ll simply compensate them with Willow Leaf Holy Wall and the Qianyuan fragmented map.”

”We have to take a big gamble.”

With Shi Douxing’s heavy declaration, Nidao Sect had no choice but to obey.

However, no one knew that Shi Douxing’s teaching of the Hundred Dominating Souls Soldier Killing Array to various medium and small forces wasn’t for assaulting the Willow Leaf Saint Manor, but instead the result of his discussion with Sikong Jing, aimed at fighting the Qianyuan Holy Demon Hall...

He intended for all vassal forces to master the Hundred Dominating Souls Soldier Killing Array within a short period.

But for now, they’d play along and act as though oblivious to the Qianyuan Holy Demon Hall’s existence.

Thus, the Nidao Sect summoned chiefs and core members from all medium and small forces.

Afterward, Shi Douxing firmly confined them all, with the pretext being the teaching of the Hundred-man Soldier Killing Formation, ensuring secrecy from leaks.

At the same time, he ordered Nidao City to secretly scout for talent and continuously teach the Hundred-man Soldier Killing Formation, as having more people master it was better.

But all information remained tightly sealed...

...

As Shi Douxing began preparations, Sikong Jing returned to the outskirts of Willow Leaf City half a day later.

He quietly observed Willow Leaf City from the forest, a slight smile tugging at his lips, and said, ”Ye Wushen indeed sealed off the entire Willow Leaf City; he’s afraid news of my supposed death will reach the Batian Branch.”

”In that case, I surely must give them a huge surprise.”

”Ye Wukui, Liu Shitian is dead, and now it’s your turn to join him.”

So far, Sikong Jing still didn’t understand how Su Yue Immortal ended up inside the Demon Cave, but from the executioner’s demeanor, it was clearly linked to Ye Wukui...

Moreover, there’s enmity from the Split Armor Flying Scorpion, so Ye Wukui must die.

Gazing at the completely locked-down Willow Leaf City, Sikong Jing chuckled indifferently and addressed the forest: ”Are you ready?”

As soon as his words fell... Swish!

A figure darted out from the shadows to say, ”Young Master, the entry passage into the city is prepared and you can enter undetected anytime.”

It was, of course, a subordinate of the Old Fat Head.

This past year in Willow Leaf City, Old Fat Head hadn’t been idle, carefully placing minor figures due to Willow Leaf Saint Manor’s stricter vigilance, but across Willow Leaf City and its outskirts, various types of people could be situated.

Among those imposing the blockade were people of Old Fat Head.

Willow Leaf City wasn’t small and couldn’t be sealed off completely, and Ye Wushen mainly prioritized blocking the transmission of message birds.

Thus, Sikong Jing, even accompanied by the Split Armor Flying Scorpion, entered effortlessly.

Upon entering the city, Old Fat Head’s men also informed Leng Sha.

Soon, a Divine Shuttle Merchant Ship belonging to the Batian Branch appeared above Sikong Jing. Naturally, Sikong Jing let the enormity of the Split Armor Flying Scorpion hide inside the ship’s cabin, while he leisurely stood upon the deck.

The Batian Divine Shuttle Merchant Ship took off, its direction unequivocally the Batian Branch.

However, just as the ship began its journey, a message bird suddenly landed in Sikong Jing’s hand...

Sikong Jing opened the letter and glanced at it, his eyes flashing coldly. He then crumpled the letter into fragments and spoke: ”Ye Luushi.”
