Capítulo 1706: Chapter 1706: Old Fat Head, the Mad Pawn

When Ye Wuzhi raised his head again, Liu Shitian had already disappeared with Su Yuexi.

At the same time, his demon beast mount was crushed by Liu Shitian and exploded into blood and flesh in the air, dying instantly.

Ye Wuzhi widened his eyes, trying to cry out but instead vomiting blood repeatedly.

It was only after a long while that he could finally make a sound, but Liu Shitian had already taken Su Yuexi and disappeared, leaving him no choice but to furiously circulate his True Qi throughout his body and sprint toward Willow Leaf Saint Manor…

He had no idea what Liu Shitian was up to, but he had to report this to Ye Wushen.

Ye Wuzhi ran while vomiting blood.

Though he was in the air, his crippled foot caused him great inconvenience, looking quite peculiar, and being only at the Emperor Martial Stage within the King Realm, he certainly was no match for Liu Shitian.

…

On the other side…

Sikong Jing certainly didn’t know that right after he left Batian Branch, Su Yuexi and Ye Wuzhi encountered trouble. He followed the contents of a recently received message and arrived at a place in Willow Leaf City called “Wenxiang Pavilion.”

This was a brothel!

However, Sikong Jing did not enter through the front door directly but instead flashed into a small building at the back of Wenxiang Pavilion.

Upon entry, he saw that the inside of the building was filled with a tense atmosphere, giving off an extremely oppressive feeling.

But when Sikong Jing descended, the tense atmosphere suddenly changed, as if replaced by a sense of awe.

The people inside the building seemed to be pleasantly surprised.

The next moment, a graceful female figure emerged from the shadows and approached Sikong Jing.

This woman knelt down on one knee with excitement, saying, “Renyou, greets Young Master Sikong!”

She was none other than Renyou from the former Fox Sect of Wunian Saint Sect, once the Fox General of Fox Sect in Wanbing City in the North Central Plains.

Back then, she led the Fox Sect women from Wanbing City to betray the Fox Sect Master and followed Sikong Jing.

Later, Sikong Jing took her and others into Wuji Town, even pretending to have them all killed on the Wuji Town Wall.

Afterward, they completely separated from Wunian Saint Sect.

They followed Master Wuji and Old Xiu, went into hiding, and became part of Su Old Demon Remnants. When Sikong Jing returned to Hanluan City, Renyou and a group of Fox Sect women were sent by Old Xiu to Willow Leaf City.

That is, sent here to assist Old Fat Head.

Of course, to secretly protect Su Yuexi’s family. However, because Willow Leaf Saint Manor monitored Su Yuexi’s family closely, Old Fat Head and Renyou had difficulty contacting them, only able to confirm their safety.

As long as Su Yuexi and others were fine, they wouldn’t act rashly, as he was one of the core figures among Su Old Demon Remnants.

Old Xiu had already explained these things to Sikong Jing.

So Sikong Jing wasn’t surprised to see Renyou but deeply said, “Let’s go, take me to see Old Fat Head first.”

The person who had sent him the message wasn’t Renyou, but Old Fat Head.

Renyou, of course, did not waste any words and stood up, leading Sikong Jing deeper into the small building.

At this moment, Renyou no longer had the cold and unfeeling attitude of the former Wunian Saint Sect. Upon seeing Sikong Jing, only a strong frosty aura remained, for what she was cultivating now was something Sikong Jing had given her!

Thus, the two quickly arrived outside a certain room within the small building.

“Roar, roar…”

Inside the room, Sikong Jing could hear the low roars of a woman resembling a wild beast, making one’s scalp tingle.

Outside the room stood a chubby old man, his face full of tension and worry. It was Old Fat Head, whom Sikong Jing recognized immediately, though he’d only met him once in Minglong Village.

Old Fat Head, hearing footsteps, also hurriedly raised his head in surprise, exclaiming, “Young Master, Young Master Sikong.”

He had long heard much about Sikong Jing from Old Xiu, and seeing Sikong Jing now was no longer like meeting a novice facing Soldier Killing Chess but was filled with amazement.

Old Fat Head certainly didn’t expect the little guy back then would turn out to be their Young Master.

But Sikong Jing had no time to talk much and nodded, “Senior Old Fat Head, long time no see; what’s the situation here?”

The message he received was extremely urgent, requiring his intervention as Young Master Sikong. It said: one of Old Fat Head’s targets was extremely uncooperative, even preparing to self-destruct.

This target was one of the members forced out of Pei Yuxian’s mouth listed in the Thousand Prison Tower.

A Qianwang Holy Tower chess piece.

That is, a chess piece placed by Qianwang Holy Tower within Willow Leaf City, similar to Yao Yulou’s situation.

Specifically: after Old Xiu got the list from Thousand Prison Tower, he informed Old Fat Head about the Qianwang Chess piece in Willow Leaf City, allowing him to find a chance to act, and so Old Fat Head began his actions.

But through various subtle contacts, this Qianwang Chess piece discovered them.

Then came the current situation: the Qianwang Chess piece was preparing to commit suicide, ready to die rather than let Su Old Demon Remnants succeed.

Overall, Old Fat Head could only care less about reminiscing with Sikong Jing and began explaining more specifically…

“Young Master, it’s my fault.”

“I didn’t expect this Qianwang Chess piece to be so vigilant, nor did I expect her to be so violent. When we exposed her, she tried to flee first; upon failing, she attempted various means to commit suicide.”

“She wouldn’t even consider negotiating…”

“No matter what we said or how we persuaded, she just wanted to commit suicide…”

“If we weren’t alert enough, she would’ve died several times, entirely ignoring our words.”

Upon hearing this, Sikong Jing essentially understood.

The Qianwang Chess pieces bound by Thousand Prison Tower were all involuntary, their fate being either obliterated by Qianwang Holy Tower or their families tortured by it…

Their circumstances would be very tragic, so this chess piece went mad directly.

At this time, Old Fat Head further explained, “And not long ago, she suddenly went crazy and swallowed a poisonous Little Demon Insect; it was our carelessness that did not notice its appearance—she was simply too insane.”

“Though the insect’s poison isn’t strong, the Qianwang Chess piece used the poison for some unknown method, making it impossible for us to expel the poison, and now it’s gradually infiltrating her body; she’s about to die.”

“Helplessly, I could only message you, Young Master.”

“Old Xiu mentioned that Young Master possesses exceptional detoxification methods; please hurry inside and have a look.”

With Old Fat Head’s words, Sikong Jing’s expression increasingly became more grave, also showing admiration in his eyes.

Regardless, this Qianwang Chess piece’s determination to commit suicide was for one purpose.

She intended to use her death to alert Qianwang Holy Tower to the presence of Su Old Demon Remnants.

Not to be loyal to Qianwang Holy Tower, but for her relatives who were trapped in Thousand Prison Tower. Since escape was impossible, only by breaking the Life Lamp after death could she gamble for an opportunity.

An opportunity to alert Qianwang Holy Tower.

In this way, she could seek mercy from Qianwang Holy Tower, hoping it wouldn’t kill her relatives.
