Berserk God of War

Chapter 1506: Chapter 1506: Kid, You Want to Carry Me on Your Back?

The old woman heard this and revealed her yellow teeth again, briefly saying: ”Hungry, came out to find something to eat, only found a few pieces of raw meat.”

These words made the Yao Residence crowd look at each other, and soon many fell silent.

It’s estimated the old woman was hiding somewhere, but the battle for the district has lasted six days and nights, surely she’s starving.

Moreover, she has difficulty moving, hence can’t find anything to eat.

Sikong Jing didn’t say more on this matter and didn’t pick up the raw meat at his feet now covered with dirt, instead, he took out dry food and water from the Storage Space and handed it to the old woman.

The latter gobbled it down immediately...

Seeing this, Sikong Jing asked with empathy: ”Granny, where are your family members?”

Surely her family is not by her side, which is why she dragged her legs that can’t walk to look for food.

Slightly trembling, the old woman paused her eating and replied: ”My husband is an old bastard, he left me alone and walked away, probably won’t come back to find me, hehehehe...”

At the end, she let out a few weird laughs, one could hear the boundless pain in her laughter, as she continued devouring the dry food.

The crowd looked at each other in silence, emotions somewhat heavy.

In places like the Chaotic District, there are many in similar situations; the battle for the district is a strongman’s game, ordinary people truly can’t take all their family with them...

But like in the Chaotic First Zone, where it’s relatively wealthy, it’s likely her husband intentionally abandoned her.

Sikong Jing also fell silent for a while, then sighed lightly and said: ”Granny, we’ll take you to a safer place, the chaos will be over in two days, by then...”

Before finishing, the old woman suddenly looked up and interrupted vaguely: ”My husband won’t come back, there’s no safe place.”

With these words, Sikong Jing and the crowd fell speechless.

It seems the old woman only had her husband as a relative, and now the safest place is relatively remote courtyards or Little Shan type of places, yet even if chaos ends, given her legs, she might survive better in lively places.

Being too remote, she won’t be able to crawl out, thus would lack food and drink...

Staying here at least allows her to beg after everyone returns from departures, living on the streets.

Seeing the crowd’s silence, the old woman suddenly drank some water and said: ”Thank you for your kindness, you are all big figures yet so kind-hearted.”

Saying this, she bit into the dry food Sikong Jing gave her, picking up the raw meat from the ground with one hand.

Then she slowly turned around and crawled into the corner...

Sikong Jing watched her back, stood up slowly, suddenly said: ”Granny, I’ll carry you out of the Chaotic First Zone, once the battle ends, I’ll arrange a place for you, maybe even help find your husband.”

Hearing this, Zhang Duiyin and others slightly widened their eyes, a Yao Residence guard said: ”Young Master Sikong, now...”

”No worries, right now Chaotic First Zone shouldn’t have any danger for us, let’s take her with us.” Sikong Jing smiled interrupting, now at this time some people must have fled the Chaotic First Zone.

Those staying here to snatch courtyards, completely can’t threaten them.

Still, as Sikong Jing encountered, he helps if he can, or lacks ability if not.

He thought of his wife Su Yuexi at Willow Leaf Saint Manor, like the old woman, abandoned by a husband, he felt a strange touch in his heart...though if he didn’t take her, Captain Yang surely would!

Yang Yi from Chaotic Eighth District, can’t tolerate such things.

At this point, the crawling old woman trembled all over, looking back with a grin: ”Young man, you want to carry me? I’m dirty.”

As soon as she spoke, Yang Yi stepped out first saying: ”Brother Sikong, let me carry her!”

As Sikong Jing expected, Yang Yi couldn’t hold back stepping out.

However, Sikong Jing shook his head and said: ”Captain Yang, your eyesight isn’t good, let me do it.”

”I am also not a young master, my background is equally ordinary.”

Saying this, Sikong Jing walked forward without hesitation and directly carried the old woman who couldn’t move her legs.

At that moment, Yao Residence guards naturally rushed out to offer help carrying, but Sikong Jing still shook his head saying: ”No need, you all need to cultivate along the way, speak when encountering situations...”

Thus, Sikong Jing wordlessly carried the old woman walking forward.

Those who followed looked at each other, their gaze at Sikong Jing changed, he’s not only a Martial Arts Genius but lacks any arrogance needed for a genius, being very grounded.

The old woman of course didn’t refuse Sikong Jing’s goodwill, she suddenly spoke lowly: ”Young man, really good person, by the way, they called you Young Master Sikong, right? Are you Sikong Jing?”

With her words, hum...

The Yao Residence crowd’s True Qi exploded, showing vigilance like facing a formidable opponent, how did the old woman know Sikong Jing?

Sikong Jing was also stumped, his heart has been cautious.

Yet, his keen Master of Ten Thousand Beasts instinct already told him, the old woman had absolutely no hostility, thus he steadily progressed asking: ”Granny, how do you know my name?”

Even without sensing hostility, curiosity lingered in his heart.

The old woman grinned replying: ”Not long ago, a kind little girl wanted to give me food, but couldn’t accomplish it.”

This answer puzzled Sikong Jing even more...

”The little girl just wanted to give me food, suddenly a panicked man appeared, shouting at her something about being a Saintess Canggu, then asked if she was looking for Sikong Jing...”

As the old woman spoke, everyone who was extremely alert froze, Saintess Canggu Tie Ti’er?

”That man seemed to claim he was from the East Dominator Branch, he told the little girl you were about to die, then the little girl was panicked, followed him away, forgetting to give me food.”

”That man even said, he wanted to take her to find you.”

Hearing the old woman’s words, the crowd was again looking at each other...

So far, two from those twenty in the East Dominator Branch escaped, the man the old woman mentioned is probably one of them.

”Granny, was Saintess Canggu alone?” Yang Yi couldn’t help asking.

The old woman grinned thinking, finally nodding lightly replying: ”She was alone, I heard her saying to the man something about coming alone to find Yao Residence, was she coming to find you?”

As words fell, the Yao Residence crowd again looked at each other, Sikong Jing’s gaze became intensely cold.

Tie Ti’er surely regretted abandoning the Yao Residence crowd, returning alone with Canggu Disciples, this sincerity was touching, as for the man from East Dominator Branch, he clearly tricked Tie Ti’er saying something about himself dying...

The purpose is obvious, likely to use Tie Ti’er to do something against him and Yao Residence.

Thinking this, Sikong Jing hurriedly asked: ”Granny, which direction did they go?”

The old woman blinked, pointing east then west, finally shook her head replying: ”Can’t remember, young man, if you carry me around looking, maybe I can recall...”

With her words fell, her eyes squinting slightly towards Sikong Jing.
