Berserk God of War

Chapter 1238: Chapter 1238: That Battle Years Ago, Still Beast Poison

Just now, Sikong Jing mentioned that the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map was torn into several pieces by Eldest Su, and each piece fell into the hands of various factions.

”It’s a pity Eldest Su wanted to protect Young Master Su, otherwise he could have left the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map to you,” Master Wuji continued. ”With the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map, we would have no fear of missing the opportunity for revenge!”

The Young Master Su he referred to was Su Zhenglong, Sikong Jing’s father-in-law.

Sikong Jing also mentioned earlier, saying that his father-in-law’s family and his wife had been taken away by the Willow Leaf Saint Manor.

Because of the largest piece of Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map left by Su Beiheng, which only Su Zhenglong could open, the people from Willow Leaf Saint Manor couldn’t harm their family.

In Master Wuji’s opinion, of course, Eldest Su had to throw out the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map to protect his son.

However, Sikong Jing paused slightly, then slowly took out a map and said, ”Actually, Grandpa Su left it to me.”

As he spoke, he handed over the second Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map belonging to Su Beiheng to Master Wuji.

Just now, Sikong Jing hadn’t mentioned his encounter with Su Beiheng in the family’s Spirit Origin Small Secret Realm; he only described various chase incidents in the East Plain Northern Land.

It was not until now that he truly opened up...

Since confirming that Master Wuji was one of his own, he wanted to give him greater confidence.

Upon hearing this, Master Wuji was stunned, staring blankly at the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map in Sikong Jing’s hand, just sensing the familiar aura of their Eldest Su from the surface.

His hands trembled as he received it, but he didn’t delve into it with his mind, feeling unqualified.

Master Wuji merely held it, carefully sensing the familiar aura of their Eldest Su.

Meanwhile, Sikong Jing softly described his encounter with Su Beiheng.

After listening, Master Wuji’s eyes were bloodshot, staring at Sikong Jing.

Then he tremblingly handed back the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map...

As Sikong Jing accepted it, Master Wuji suddenly stood up with a bang, still maintaining his gaze on Sikong Jing.

Sikong Jing was slightly stunned, not understanding.

Suddenly, Master Wuji’s aged face showed a look of extreme pain, his legs trembling wildly. Sikong Jing quickly asked, ”Master Wuji, what’s going on with you...”

Before he could finish... thud!

Master Wuji suddenly knelt heavily, speaking in a trembling voice to Sikong Jing, ”Beiheng Demon Army, Ninth Treasure Master Qi Wuji, greets Young Master Sikong.”

Sikong Jing was dumbfounded, a flash of memory of Old Xiu and Old He at that time flooded his mind.

The identity of a grandson-in-law wasn’t the main thing; what truly made them acknowledge was... the inheritance of the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map.

Thinking of this, Sikong Jing quickly said, ”Master, please rise.”

He then hurriedly helped Master Wuji up.

At the same time, he quickly explained the situation back then with Old Xiu, that he was only temporarily the Young Master. He hoped Old Xiu would observe if he fit, and now, of course, let Master Wuji first observe him...

Master Wuji stood up, his head full of sweat, but he firmly said, ”Suitable, definitely suitable.”

”Who else could be more suitable than Young Master Sikong? Eldest Su, too, has Dual Spirit Shadows.”

This matter, Sikong Jing hadn’t known before, until his guess with Master Wuji in the manor, and now it’s confirmed. He never thought there would be another presence of Dual Spirit Shadows besides himself!

”Eldest Su was also invincible without a War Body, Eldest Su could also conquer many unconquerable beings, like Fierce Beast Spirit Shadow, like Absolute Night Demon Wolf... tell me, who could be more suitable than you, Young Master Sikong?”

He witnessed Sikong Jing slay Yin Henzi, he saw how Sikong Jing conquered the Absolute Night Demon Wolf.

He saw a calm, powerful, brave and bold young man.

Sikong Jing was speechless, leaving Master Wuji to sit until his emotions gradually calmed and then gently asked, ”Master, your legs?”

Obviously, Master Wuji used almost all his strength to stand and kneel just now.

Now, his forehead was full of sweat.

”Beast Poison, the terrifying poison that suppressed Eldest Su’s Holy Martial Stage Demon Beast,” Master Wuji replied lowly.

Upon these words, Sikong Jing trembled all over, the third one...

The first one poisoned by Beast Poison was, of course, Grandpa Su Beiheng, the second was Old Xiu, and Master Wuji was affected as well.

Rip...

Just as Sikong Jing was lost in thought, Master Wuji suddenly ripped open his pants fiercely, revealing legs covered with mechanical components, with scarcely any skin visible.

At this point, Master Wuji gently explained...

”Back then, I was only the small Ninth Treasure Master in Beiheng Demon Army, but I had great talent and a firm will, so I often accompanied Eldest Su. I personally witnessed that claw strike.”

”I saw Eldest Su fight, but was suppressed, and those by his side almost disappeared with that claw.”

”As I liked making various treasures, I threw countless Spiritual Artifacts, although each shattered, they held off for a moment.”

”Finally, Eldest Su shouted angrily, pushing me out of the Holy Martial Demon Beast’s slaughter zone.”

”Afterwards, I fainted, not knowing anything.”

Master Wuji’s gaze was deep, with anger, fear, and profound unwillingness.

Sikong Jing’s pupils almost contracted; even with Master Wuji’s few words, he could imagine the terrifying scene of that Holy Martial Demon Beast’s claw and Grandpa Su’s heroic battle.

Unconsciously, Sikong Jing’s fists were tightly clenched.

Master Wuji continued...

”When I woke, I found myself in a terrifying Suppression Forbidden Land, Eldest Su’s life unknown, alive only due to Eldest Su’s final push and my first Emperor’s Artifact’s protection.”

”But the Emperor’s Artifact couldn’t protect my legs, thus ended up as they are now, irreparable.”

Even with Emperor’s Artifact protection, even being pushed out in an instant by Su Beiheng, his legs were still affected by Beast Poison.

Even with his ’Emperor’s Limitless Weapon’ talent, he couldn’t heal.

”Later, I stayed there for three months, battling Beast Poison crazily.”

”I almost turned my legs into an Emperor’s Artifact, finally surviving.”

”But even so, the pain remained extreme, even till now.”

Master Wuji smiled bitterly, and while Sikong Jing felt puzzled... since Emperor’s techniques could counter Beast Poison, why not chop off the legs?
